Absolutely fabulous hotel staffed by wonderful people

We loved everything about the Hotel Bella Riva - all of the helpful and kind staff, our room, the parking, the restaurant, the food (breakfast and evening) and the location. We give Hotel Bella Riva 11 stars out of 10 - it was the best hotel of our long driving trip across Europe and we plan to return next year.

Really great. Fell in love with Lake Garda!

Location was amazing. Beautiful pool and gardens looking onto the lake. A really nice scale so even though hotel was full it didn't feel like it. Lovely staff and really great food in the restaurant.

Only good for families and if you can afford suite! No good for a quiet couples retreat.

The food was exceptional, the staff were all so friendly and the views were amazing. Definitely contact the manager at the hotel to discuss your room choice before booking!

Could hear everything from the room above which resulted in very little sleep for our stay. We stayed in a “larger deluxe room” and had paid to have lake/ garden views but we just looked at the car park. Only really family friendly- you will get splashed trying to swim a length or listen to screaming kids whilst sunbathing. Not really walking distance to either town for the boat ect- definitely hire a car!! We were expecting to be able to walk along the lake to the local town but you have to walk on the road for 10 mins before you can hop into a path by the lake- just worth considering when choosing the area!

Fabulous hotel in a lovely location

It’s a small hotel with a personal service. Breakfast was amazing and the pool area has ample loungers so you could easily get them at any time of the day. The location right in the lake is amazing

We were charged €5 per bottle of water which was put into our fridge daily at no point was there anything to say it wasn’t complimentary.

This was our 3rd stay at the hotel and it remains a good choice all round

unfortunately no rooms were available in the main hotel so we stopped in the apartments. Whilst everything was spotless and well equipped. it lacked any sole. The decor was plain and furnishing was bland

Fantastic hotel and delicious restaurant with lovely staff

We stayed at an apartment in the Villa in the grounds which was spacious and comfortable. I slept perfectly on the sofa bed. All the staff were very helpful and everything in the restaurant was delicious, with a wonderful team working there.

No hotel cars to get you around: the area has notorously limited number of taxis. This would be a simple fix and would improve my rating to a 10.

The location on the lake is perfect. quiet yet convenient.

it wasn’t the warmest atmosphere. As someone who works in hospitality, I believe it’s crucial that staff have a genuine welcoming and kind demeanor. this was not really the case. they were all perfectly accommodating to our questions, just not very happy or friendly.
