The location was perfect in that I did not want to be in the city centre and wanted access to water in the summer heat! It was fascinating to watch the rowing teams train; but be warned they start very early and you can hear them training. You can run around the rowing canal which makes for a pleasant jog in tranquil surroundings. Room had air conditioning and was clean and adequate.
The staff spoke some English but were often not present at the reception. If you asked for something it seemed more of a chore rather than them be happy to help; perhaps that was just my perception! The pool was nice but very full from local people; it was not so much a hotel pool but more a private pool that was open to the public. There was not enough parking once the pool got busy because of all of teh locals needing somewhere to park.
