Top location in the old town, beautiful old style house with character

Excellent location in the old town with free parking , old style architecture house , two terraces with a view of the city . Clean and spacious rooms with an old style interior but new furniture. All the things needed are in the rooms plus kitchen room to share if you wish to use it. Well maintained yard with a museum house if you wish to visit . Definitely recommended, we will return again.

Historic Charm Outside, Inconsistent Inside

up a cobbled road; outside of building looks historical; liquid hand soap provided - rose scented to match local area; some photographs of local area in the past on walls; hot water and good water pressure in shower; great view from outside grounds: different places to sit and enjoy the surroundings; hearing the church bells ringing in the morning; we got photos/instructions for getting the key a day before - easy to follow; see the church bell tower from our window

fake wood floors, a used bar of soap left in the bathroom, bent curtain rod, plastic flowers, and almost no Bulgarian decor. The bed was uneven and uncomfortable. Poor soundproofing—we could hear neighboring rooms. One wall-mounted reading lamp didn’t work.

Great Location

The apartment is set in a lovely garden location with great views. The apartment was clean and spacious. It is close to many attractions in Plovdiv.

We did not like the set up for the bathroom, as the shower was right next to the toilet. When the electricity was not working, the woman we spoke to was curt.

Such a beautiful location

The place is extremely beautiful, in the perfect center. The historical part of the place is very interesting, the owners were kind enough to tell us the story of it. Value for the money is exceeded.

Great location and amazing view right in the heart of the old city. A private terasse and a mini park with a nice garden. Historical place, part of a museum. Free parking in the middle of the old city.

Difficult to find the place without internet connection. All the acces info was provided by messages on booking. Tried to call the host, but apparently the number posted on booking doesn't exist. Quite difficult to reach by car the location. The garbage hasn't been taking out from previous visitors. The shower has to be improved as it flooded wall the bathroom.

Magic!

I never though such place existed in Old Plovdiv. The idea that you can mix of a museum house with place for staying is great. The views are breathtaking, the yard is gigantic and beatifull. And the smell of old wood and boxwood is magnificent. Yup, it's up the hill, so it's not good if plan going on a drinking spree, bear that in mind.

The bathoroom is somewaht smaller, but it's ok if you're not that big in size. You have to restart the rooter regulary if you want to work. But if you do, you'll get ypur internet. But those are just small details and not even a stain on everything else.

A gem in the heart of Plovdiv.

It was an exceptional place. The house is a historic one, the room was spacious and overlooked central Plovdiv. There were also two patios which we could use....Much recommended.

Absolutely amazing place to stay in Old Plovdiv Town.

Absolutely loved the beauty of the museum part of the house and the garden terraces. Stunning views from several directions. Location was great in the heart of Old Plovdiv, very close to the amphitheatre. And a short walk to the main shopping area. The staff we met were all very friendly. We were given a guided tour of the museum at the beginning, before going to our room. We had booked a double room and were very pleasantly surprised to have shared use of a kitchen with one other room. There is an oven and hob, but we didn’t see any pans, but maybe they are available if you need them. The bed was comfy, I enjoyed the view of the church and hearing the bells at 8am. We were lucky enough to get parked right outside the property, but I can imagine that it could be trickier in high season - one bit of advice if you’ve never visited the Old Plovdiv Town before, is to check how to get into it on Google street view first. There are one way systems, as well as a barrier on entering Old Plovdiv.

Another set of keys would have been handy. I went for a walk early before my husband woke up and I had to lock the front gate after I went out because it was before the museum staff arrived.

Beautiful and peaceful.

Very nice old house situated on the top of the hill. Have a nice quiet garden. and 2 terraces with breathtaking view.The rooms are comfortable and clean. It’s 5 min from Anthic theatre and Kapana.

Lovely place in Old Town Plovdiv

This is one of the most amazing places I've ever stayed in! The host was fantastic and showed us around the beautiful museum part of the house. The studio was beautiful and the two terraces had amazing views over Plovdiv. It was a pleasure staying in this place and I will definitely be returning!

Invredible!

it’s outstanding! we booked with my entire family and friends while in Plovdiv and we wish we had stayed longer! the beds are so comfy and the apartments so cozy. we had a real piece of rock in our apartment living room. The property also features an ethnographic museum of the main house built i. the 1800s, to which guests have access to. It also has an outdoor patio and a lovely balcony with a view of all of Plovdiv and the mountains.
