Fantastic hotel in a beautiful location with friendly staff and easy private parking

Yes, the location is simply unbeatable—right on the lake—but I’ll admit, the first thing I always check is parking. Here, it was excellent: private, easy to access, and hassle-free, which immediately set the tone for a relaxing stay. From there, everything only got better. The food was not just delicious but thoughtfully prepared, served by a genuinely friendly team that made us feel like long-time guests. The panoramic views over the lake were nothing short of spectacular, the kind you find yourself staring at long after the plates are cleared. Our room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and—much to my delight—equipped with crisp, cold air conditioning, which is not something you can always count on in Italy. The pool area was lovely, yet the real luxury was stepping into the pristine lake, watching the ferries glide gracefully across the water as the sun set. For golfers, there’s an unexpected treat—a charming course just a mile away that warmly welcomes hotel guests. I highly recommend taking a cart and savoring the scenery as much as the round itself. All in all, this hotel is a rare gem, the kind of place you stumble upon once and then vow to return to for years to come.

A little slice of heaven

The location was absolutely perfect, a little slice of heaven. All the staff were friendly and welcoming, shout out to Paulo who was lovely! So calm and peaceful and the restaurant was great, even during the thunderstorms. I will be back for sure some time :)

Beyond expectations.

This an amazing find. Owner and staff are very attentive. Accommodations are cozy. The Gargnano area of Lake de Garda provides amazing views.. We loved the views, the small town(s) feel, very walkable. Great food options at the hotel and throughout the area. Thanks to Signora Noemi and all for a wonderful time!

Unfortunately, the room was completely different from what we saw on the pictures via Booking The room was in a really bad condition, and then we saw the ants were living there, so we had to change the hotels as there was no other room available

Perfect location, quiet place, delicious breakfast, nice view, clean pool and rooms. You can bring small dogs.

I like almost all, but the fact that we had to pay extra for the parking space was a bit annoying. But it’s also a fair price.

What a treasure

Beautiful place in a small and quiet village right on Lake Garda with a beautiful view, a private pebble beach, an outdoor pool and a fantastic breakfast included. It is the perfect place for hiking in the west. Super nice staff.

Only downside is an additional parking fee of EUR 10/day which was not announced in advance.

Wonderful stay at Hotel Bogliaco

The position on the lake was exceptional! The breakfast was extensive and catered to all tastes. We dined in their restaurant both nights we stayed as the quality of the food and the service were above and beyond!!

It advertised air-conditioning in the room, yet we could not get it working.

Poor

Fire alarm went off at 4AM, resulting in all the guests gathering outside the hotel. No one from the staff was present at the moment and it took them half an hour to show up and turn the alarm off. We mentioned it a check out and instead of an apology the owner just dismissed it and went ahead charging me 10 euros for parking… didn’t really expect a full refund even if our stay was clearly compromised, but a little gesture or a simple sorry would have been appreciated!

Relaxed villa situated right on the lake shore

Centrally located, yet very calm villa sitting on board of the lake surrounded by some trees. . Lots of rooms and tables to sit in a relaxed atmosphere. Recently refurbished room with spacious bathroom. The room was very clean, towels for the pool/lake were already there. A very wide range of yummy breakfast choices and plenty of food available. The staff was also helpful and asked several times during our stay if we like(d) our stay. Strongly advised to take parking spot (even tough 10€ per day)

The ladder into the lake was slightly damaged. The cushions of the bed preserve your body heat very well which in summer is not "cool" (but one can see the level of "negative points").

We liked EVERYTHING: from the location through the service until the food and the private beach! One of the best hotel in Italy I have ever stayed. It is an excellent location for bikers with addition service for the bike (locker, electric charger, pump etc.)

Hidden treasure

Romantic location that offers a quite relaxing atmosphere, it does not get better than this: lake side breakfast and dining, beautiful pool, modern styled rooms with AC, no mass tourism anyway near the hotel, gated parking at the hotel. The pictures of the hotel provide the right impression. Breakfast is extraordinary, wide selection and eggs cooked to perfection at the lake side terasse. Do not miss the opportunity for a lake side dinner, excellent kitchen and wine selection. We fell in love!

Location was nice but do not get the parking balcony.

I've traveled all Italy from north to south, this was the worst hotel BY FAR! -The room balcony was facing the parking. -There was only one light in the room and one electricity plug. -No safety box in the room. -There was many cockroaches, spiders and insects. -There is no telephone in the room. -Time to check-out the elevator was not working, so me and my wife went down from second floor WITH LUGGAGE!

We were so surprised -thinking that we checked in to a ‘standard’ 3 star hotel. This hotel is so much more. Beautiful rooms, really clean, pools, private beach, and a kitchen chef who makes the most delicious and exiting food; that we hadn’t seen or tried before. Can’t recommend this hotel enough :) - we will come back!

Location was great, you can walk to all the nice places around

Impolite staff, especially the owner, a pretty cocky attitude. We didn’t feel warm welcomed. Poor Breakfast (but they offered freshly squeezed orange juice 👍🏼) Great location but unfortunately old furnished. A lot of the interior needs to be refurbished.

Great hotel in amazing location

The hotel was in an amazing position, right on the water, with great lake views and a private beach. The restaurant food was extremely good - we had lunch and dinner there as well as the very generous breakfast which was included in our rate. The swimming pool was lovely - we swam in the lake and in the pool during our stay. Everything was great, the hotel was clean and spotless and the position unbeatable. The town of Bogliaco was small and a short walk to Gargnano, with a few more shops and restaurants. I highly recommend the hotel :)
