Would definitely recommend!

Since this was a bit of a last-minute booking, we were pleasantly surprised by the value for this room based on the facilities and the location. The room and bathroom were beautiful and very large with fun and unique ceilings and finishes. The view out onto Piazza Catulo was amazing. We were able to enjoy a powerful thunderstorm roll in over the lake from our window. There really wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the Hotel, including the fact that they are pet-friendly and we were able to have our dog with us.

Not worth the money

The view is very nice.

The parking that belongs to the hotel is 15 minutes walking distance. This is very uncomfortable when traveling with luggage, as you do when on holidays. This was also not communicated before arrival causing us to get stuck in a pedestrian area with our car because we followed the navigation system. The staff was unfriendly and not well prepared. Having breakfast on the patio was nice but the food was low quality. The room was clean but without any decorations or amenities. There were many stairs to climb up to the room with no help from the staff.

Fantastic location (photo is of the view from the balcony), beautiful room, wonderful staff, the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in, powerful shower in a clean modern bathroom, great breakfast and gorgeous meals in the restaurant.

Description says there is parking. Hotel is in pedestrian zone but as we thought we were able to park on site we drove on regardless ( which no doubt annoyed everyone) We were given a parking permit for which we were charged a refundable €20 and given the address of a car park around 10 mins walk away. In temperatures of 30 + degrees we were not impressed to have to walk back in that heat with our suitcases. No lift to reception on first floor but there is a lift from first floor to second. The hotel is lovely but not great for anyone with mobility issues

Great location to explore the many towns around the huge Lake.

Located right on the edge of the Lake, small 6 room hotel with good restaurant attached providing an excellent buffet style breakfast, served in the outdoor space adjacent to harbour. 200 metres to Ferry or Bus. Wide choice of restaurants on the doorstep. English speaking, professional and attentive staff, relaxed atmosphere. One of the few hotels that stays open all year. Good wifi throughout the room and outdoors area, just check you have connected the right one as the hotel has several SSIDs, one of which is for staff use only.

Excellent location, fantastic little hotel with history. Very hospitable staff, excellent and spacious room, very nice facilities. Quiet at night, despite central location. Very nice breakfast buffet.

Maybe the double bed wasn't great, because it had a decor in the middle, so you had to be careful not to hit your head at night.

Great Little Hotel at the lake

Great Location, amazing breakfast in the Little Restaurant below directly at the lake. Close to everything :) parking a bit distant but that’s not an issue because you get the most beautiful setting right in the old town as well as very nice hosts as a reward :) thank you!

It is right on the lakefront with alot of little restaurants and cafés just infront. But the windows were very soundproof! Beautiful views of the lake to wake up to. Great breakfast! Very friendly and helpful staff.

Good hotel but...

the owner is nice, the location is in the centrum. The parking spot is okay, a little far away, when you have a family with children and some baggage (600m) and you have to pay in addition. The restaurant in the hotel is good and the breakfast was perfect!

the walls are old, the bath room is moldy, the water does not drain well on the shower place and the air condition cannot cooling the room. The room was not very clean in time of Corona. Because my foods was dirty after the first shower, when I went to the bed. I found lot of dust flakes under the bed and some black hairs on the bed and on the pillow.

Perfekter Aufenthalt zum Jahreswechsel ❤️

Die direkte Lage ist ein Traum! Der Hotelier u das Personal extrem freundlich. Sie hatten immer ein Auge auf ihre Hotelgäste, im normalem Restaurant-/ Barbetrieb. Ein „Herrenzimmer“ zum gemeinsamen abendlichen Aufenthalt, war perfekt. Die Cafemaschine zum Frühstück mit leckersten Cappuccino. Als die Brötchen alle waren, ist gleich eine nette Dame losgerannt, zum nahe liegenden Bäcker und hat neue besorgt. Das Haus ist ca 170 Jahre alt und wurde sehr aufwändig restauriert. Ich liebe so eine architektonische Mischung.
