Belfiore Park Hotel 4Stars Superior "Adults Only"

Everything! The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The food was incredible. NIN was fantastic and a wonderful experience from start to finish. All very stylish, modern and excellent facilities. The views are stunning. Rooms were large, spacious, clean and all have a view over the lake. We all enjoyed it very much and would highly recommend. Oh yes and the breakfast was one of the best we have had and beautiful presented.

We really loved so much about this hotel - the staff were great, especially Jadda who was really friendly and made us the most lovely welcome cocktail on arrival. Our room had a good sized balcony overlooking the lake and mountains - the view was really stunning. The breakfasts were first class and real thought had obviously gone into them - in fact the food in general was excellent - we tried both the brasserie and the bar snacks but not the Michelin starred restaurant - a really special mention must be made of the anchovy pinsa (one of the bar snacks)- it was so delicious we can't stop thinking about it. The pool area, outside terraces and beach area were all really beautiful and meant that, even though there were quite a few people staying in the hotel, you could always find the perfect spot to sit. The main path around the lake is right by the hotel and meant that you could walk north or south along the lake. This hotel has a really nice family run feel and the fact that so many people bring their (immaculately behaved) dogs only added to that. It really is hard to fault.

This hotel was absolutely perfect for us because we wanted somewhere really relaxing for a few days however, if we'd been staying on Lake Garda for a longer time, we might have wanted to spend 4/5 days here just wallowing in luxury and then move to a slightly livelier area with a local market etc eg Torri del Benaco. There are restaurants etc within walking distance in both directions - we went to two of them on the south side, the first was lovely, the second wasn't quite as good but neither were as lovely as our hotel. We're already planning a return visit.

Absolutely beautiful location, very nice staff, food was excellent. Beachfront access to the lake. Prices in the hotel are also reasonable. Just an incredibly relaxing stay. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to unwind and take in the sun and the water.

There were some odd issues with the lights in the rooms. Sometimes flickering in the bathroom, and in the bedroom, if you plugged in a phone charger, the room lights would switch on. Nothing impactful but strange. The spa is nice but the sauna temperature felt low, and there is not enough seats for the amount of people admitted if everyone wants to sit down (which did happen while we were there due to a rain shower)

Friendly staff, but it felt like many of the team might be on their first hospitality roles or doing a stage? Some things were quite amateur. We were given a surprise trip on a sail boat, which was a bit random, but a generous extra.

I rarely write a negative review, but as we booked based solely on the good reviews, we felt it was worth honest feedback. We were surprised by the quality of breakfast and the cocktails. We had expected it to be much much better from the reviews, price and the general impression that the hotel cared about food and drink, especially with a Michelin star restaurant and clearly a well stocked bar and cellar on site. These were completely at odds with the breakfast, where ingredients were really of poor quality. It would have been much better to have far less, but of better quality. Even though we were given a free upgrade, also have to say that our room was in dire need of a refurbishment and new beds and pillows - these very uncomfortable. If we had not paid in advance, we would have considered moving somewhere else. It’s a lovely spot location wise, but the quality of the rooms and food and drink needs some attention to justify the price.
