Excellant accommodation, clean, good breakfast, lockable shed for my bike. Helpfull host.

Stayed one night as part of a cycling holiday. The host Claire was welcoming and helpfull. The accomodation was clean, the freshly cooked breakfast was excellant. A locked garden shed was available for storing my bike overnight.

Very handy for travel to Orkney. Nice owner. Relaxing after a long journey.

A very pleasant, clean bedroom and very comfortable bed. The bathroom has both a shower and a bath. Very quiet although in the heart of Thurso. Near to bus stops. Superb breakfast. Nice friendly owner. Claire even kindly gave me a lift to the ferry.

Stairs to the attic might be a bit difficult for some people.

A splendid B & B! Claire was warm and welcoming. Happily stowed my touring bicycle. The breakfast was first rate. My room was clean and spacious and comfortable. The claw foot bath was dreamy for a weary cyclist. Really good. Would definitely stay again. Many thanks!

Fantastic host and great breakfast- highly recommend!!

We booked last minute and had a fantastic stay. The host was super friendly and really helpful with recommendations for travelling to Orkney the next day. Breakfast was absolutely fab, best scrambled eggs I’ve had and generous portions. Highly recommend!! :)

I was so glad to find this house as it is very difficult to find a place to stay without a plan (which is not uncommon for a motorcyclist). The room is superb and the host is very kind. And the price is reasonable if you compare to the other hotels.

The host was very welcoming and full of helpful advice about the area. There were generous extras available for us to sample in the breakfast room. Our room was well-appointed and comfortable. Breakfast was lavish and delicious.

Great value!

Reception was warm and very thoughtful, especially because we arrived pretty late in the night. The location is good, the facilities are nice and clean, with a private bathroom that was spotless clean. The room was a cozy double bed, very quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, in a nice space to begin the day.

Claire and Brian (real name Richard) are the consummate hosts who have made Bed and Breakfast @4 a great hme from home.

Phone reception...room 3 has great character but the combs are only really suitable for short people, but it does add to the character of the house
