Great location.Clean room Girl at reception nice and welcoming. Great cooked breakfast.

Bathroom was cold but would only effect winter months. Room 18 window has no view due to frosted windows but they give privacy due to fire exit.

Great location street parking for free nice little comfortable room very clean.

The wall in my was was very thin I could hear early breath grunt fart from Who was in there. Also he would hear from my room. The sound of him peeing at 04:00 wasn’t great.

Carla very welcoming & friendly, decent shower.

Bar closed by the time I checked in at 8pm. No sign of any staff member in the morning I had wanted to leave my bag behind reception for a couple of hours but wasn’t able to do so.

Small room. Great if you only want to sleep and not spend a lot of time during your stay.

The room atomizer was realy overpowering in such a small room. I took it out. Didn't want a headache from the smell.

Too scented for one's good

Friendly staff, great location. Food was nice.

Dreadful Lenor scented towels and bedlinen. Cloying and sickly sweet unnatural smell. Took ages to get to sleep.

I didn't have breakfast not Included and i thought expensive on top of paying over the top for a bed

Prefer a mug for a drink in room not a cup .Could do with a mirror in a better place for hair drying and plugs in a better place not under a radiator.Also they did not replenish the sugar in my room .All little annoyances but the most expensive accommodation I stayed in on my trip.All others 5in all I paid less had luxury accommodation and breakfast included

The room was quite small, and the mattress was too soft for my liking. That is not a negative towards you. I just prefer a medium to hard mattress for my back. The floorboards above me were noisy when people were walking around.

Clean room, comfortable bed, quiet night’s sleep, and private parking adjacent to hotel Good bar food downstairs. We only stayed one night before catching the ferry to Orkney. We arrived around 7.30pm , the staff were welcoming and let us know the kitchen would be closing at 8pm, so if we wanted to eat at the bar, we should not delay. The food was typical bar menu style , but tasty and promptly provided

This is a quite basic old pub small town property, so don’t expect luxe and you will be very satisfied with the clean, comfortable rooms and good pub food

Reasonable stay at a reasonable price

Room was and clean and comfortable, if a little basic. Pub downstairs served good food at a reasonable price.

Room was very light, could do with blackout blinds. Their car park was full on our arrival so had to park on side street, many of which have 8am to 6pm restrictions.

-noisy single room (#14), creaking every time someone walked up the stairs or in the rooms above/adjacent -noisy ‘undesirables’ staying in the room next door (loud and swearing all time) -idiot driving around in his clapped out shitbox all night with a loud exhaust -ridiculous charge if you lost your key! £100

Overnight stay in comfortable hotel perfect for what I required.

In central location, stayed overnight to get the ferry to Orkney. Had a single room which was newly carpeted, had all amenities, was clean. Greeted warmly by host. Good breakfast.

Only downside was a creaky floor in room above.
