Nice locale, shame about the bathroom.
Basically in the middle of town so just about everything was close.
Some conflicting information given regarding bar hours upon arrival. At least one of the rooms in the hotel has a sliding barn door for the bathroom, which is conveniently omitted from the publicised images.

Good value for money
We were welcomed warmly and had one of the new rooms (15 - triple) which was very comfortable and clean. Dinner was enjoyable.

Horrific customer service and unclean facilities
If I could leave 0 stars I would. I paid for two nights but the place was so unclean I checked out early. The customer service I’ve had since has been horrendously shocking. Would not recommend at all.
Place was unclean, I checked in late at night and didn’t notice the bathroom had clearly not been cleaned until the next morning.

Owner very unhelpful. Not interested in his guests. No TV, no Internet which was advertised. Just told us to leave if we weren't happy.

Great value, great staff, great food - highly recommended
Booked last minute due to ferry cancellation. The price was very reasonable. We booked a table for dinner (glad we did as the restaurant was very busy) - food was excellent - well cooked and large portions. Staff were really friendly - our server was a young lad who was excellent. Room was cosy with a comfy bed.

Beautiful stay in Thurso
This accommodation was excellent standard, right by the river and wonderfully clean. It had everything we needed. Very close to a wonderful coffee shop called The Haven.
This property has no lift and it has stairs to the rooms.
