Comfort and tranquility in Sideman

We loved the beautiful Villa with pool. The joglo design was extremely spacious, tidy and always clean, sitting in lush rice terraces it was that comfortable it became a little home away from home. Beautiful friendly and professional staff, Budi, Sinta and Piani were kind and generous with their time and care. The cooking class with Joko and Asti was a hit, flavours of Bali, delicious. The hotel is situated on a quiet road but with easy access to many warungs and other restaurants. Amazing views of Mt Agung and beautiful food, particularly the afternoon tea. If you are looking for authentic experiences with comfort Abian Ayu is the place.

We really enjoyed our stay at Abian Ayu Villa

Reception staff were very helpful over whatsapp. We had food and drinks delivered to our room many times because of bad weather. They also organised taxis for us to go to Port Padang Bai. Room with Pool was really nice. Great location close to some nice restaurants, spas and cafes.

The location and view were lovely and very peaceful, everything thought out . Rooms were spacious and clean. Loved the bathroom! Staff were soo friendly and happy to help organise transport very easily, we even had to leave very early for a flight so they packed our breakfast takeaway for us. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and comfortable.

A stay at a perfect location that exceeded my expectations.

Magnificent view from the room. Our room has two bathrooms, two balconies, a living room and a bedroom. The AC is powerful enough to keep the room cold throughout the day and night. The staff are helpful.

The wifi was slow and weak. The walls are thin and you can hear people passing by and talking outside.

Peaceful location, fantastic staff

The location of the guest house was fantastic. Our room overlooked fields it was so quiet and peaceful! The staff were excellent. Very professional and catered for our every need. Budi organised our trips and transport very well. Piani and the staff in the restaurant were very accommodating. We enjoyed our short stay in Sidemen. We did a guided walk from the guest house into the fields nearby and the following day a trip to Besakhi temple, the waterfalls and a weaving workshop with a car/driver, which Budi organised, as well as our onwards transport.

Outstanding resort

Abian Ayu Villas exceeded all of our expectations. The accommodations were set in one of the most beautiful locations I have ever experienced. Private and peaceful atmosphere and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. A particular thankyou to Ita and Piani who looked after our every need. The village of Sidemen is a charming piece of old school Bali - away from all the hustle and bustle of the more popular tourist spots yet centrally located to take day trips to many waterfalls, temples, white water rafting etc - though our villa was so lovely that we didn't want to venture far.

Many stairs (most without hand rails) but our villa was one of the most remote. Rooms closer to reception wouldn't need to take so many stairs. I would assume people with mobility issues might find it challenging.

A wonderful place to experience and enjoy Sidemen

A little piece of paradise in Sidemen. 4 days relaxing and taking in the magnificent views of Mt Agung, the stunning pool and beautifully kept gardens. Piani and staff looked after us with amazing service and the wonderful food Abian Ayu has to offer. The accomodation in 104 was breathtaking! Would definitely come back again!

The view in every position of this property was simply amazing. The room Was spacious and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable. The balcony big and comfortable. Nice breakfast and lovely dinner. The personal very friendly and nice. Lovely pool and the most beautiful view ! The location is just fantastic !

- the massage I got was very poor - our room was located on the way to the personnel rooms/ service room so during the day you don’t feel a lot of privacy if sitting on the balcony - the bathroom would get a small pool every time we were getting a shower

Peaceful Retreat Surrounded by Rice Fields

We absolutely loved our stay at Abian Ayu Villa. The setting and location were fantastic—nestled among lush rice fields, it was the perfect peaceful and relaxing place to unwind. The staff were all incredibly lovely, attentive, and accommodating. We received outstanding care from Piani, who made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. Breakfast was beautifully prepared each morning, and everyone on the team was friendly and helpful. It truly felt like a luxurious experience at an amazing value, and it completely exceeded our expectations. One thing to note: there are quite a few steps around the property, which might be challenging for guests with mobility issues. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil escape in Bali.

Loved it!

I stayed here for three nights. The setting and location was fantastic. The view from terrace was amazing. (I loved my room -104) Felt immersed in the rice fields and nature. Breakfast was beautiful and staff were so friendly and helpful. It felt like such a luxurious stay for great value and it completely exceeded my expectations.

Worth visiting when in sidemen! !

Beautiful location in the middle of the rice fields. The photos don’t do justice to the real deal. The views on the rice fields are immersive. People are really friendly, massages were great.

The hotel beds are old and could have been better, especially the pillows. the sunbeds are also uncomfortable due to a support beam in the padding. But that is an easy fix for the hotel, nevertheless definitely worth visiting!

Heaven on earth with sweet angels working there!

Everything!! The location is great, the food is delicious and the triple bedroom was spacious and comfortable. We stayed with our two young sons and it was just heaven. But the highlight of our stay were the people working here. Superfriendly and sooo sweet for our boys! We were very sad to leave them behind. So: Ita, Sri, Piani, Sinta, Sintia, Ayu and all the others: thank you for making our stay perfect!! We miss you all!

Amazing villa with an incredible view !! The staff was very lovely, the private pool very nice with a great view on the rice field. The view from our terrace was amazing and at night it was even better. The bed was very comfortable and the big bathroom was great ! The breakfast was amazing and we even had an afternoon tea everyday. Best villa ever ! Everything was perfect.

Magical hotel in fabulous setting

Absolutely amazing setting, overlooking pretty gardens and surrounding rice fields. We stayed in the suite with private pool and it was just magical. Lots of butterflies and we spied the Javan Kingfisher. The room was beautifully kitted out and the staff were just the loveliest we have ever met.

The staff is So So So nice! Me & my sister already miss Ita, Piani and the rest of the team and can't wait to come back:) The accomodation was amazing, but the staff makes everything the best experience ever. They come to clean your room in the morning, you'll receive an afternoon tea in the afternoon & they'll come 'prepare your room for bed' in the evening. It's also placed on a great location and a great view. Can't wait to come back!
