Le personnel est absolument adorable, très serviable. Je suis arrivé pour Galungan (une fête religieuse) et il m’ont inclu pour me faire découvrir leur culture c’était fabuleux. Le logement était également extraordinaire avec une vue magnifique et quelques très bon Warung à côté.

That one is special, so it deserves a longer review. Brand new, built 2026, located approximately 5 km in the hills above Sidemen, small village, not directly accessible by car. You walk 400m downhill or with your scooter on a small path to the property. 2 cabins built on legs on the roof of the house, feels like a penthouse / tree house, wooden cabins separated by the bathrooms for total privacy, stunning view over the coconut treetops into the valley, hills, backyard terraces and the volcano and the family temple from your private shaded front porch / veranda with 2 chairs, a table and a dry rack. The cabin is very basic but functional, large comfy king size bed with mosquito nets, small side boards, a closet for the luggage surrounded by huge windows, a bar fridge with a cold beer selection and water, a hot water cattle, complementary coffee, tee, air conditioner, a door to the bathroom, free high speed wifi. The bathroom is quite large and very unique, basically outdoors on the roof, 3 walls with tiles and a roof, the 4th wall is basically an adjustable shade. You step out of the cabin and walk down a few concrete stairs into an literal 'artificial river bed' like wellness area, large flat step stones surrounded by pebbles, a nice bathtub in the corner, a shower with 4 functions (rain shower, hand shower, extra hose, faucet), a standard toilet with bidet hose... Don't be surprised when draining the tub, it's a 'river'! Very unusual, adventurous, but clean and functional. You get your breakfasts in the breakfast tower over the top with 270 degree view, we strongly recommend to try the home made local specialities on the card, really delicious! Also try the nearby warung Nyoman around the corner uphill for lunch or dinner, nice terrace with a view and very affordable great selection of fresh made to your order food.

Nothing to complain about, but it's special and prepare to climb stairs.

Tempatnya nyaman tak terlalu berisik dan pemandangannya indah sekali

Nous avons séjourné 3j dans ce tout nouvel homestay et franchement tout était parfait. Les hôtes ont été super accueillant du début à la fin. À notre arrivée on a reçu 2 jus de fruits pressés et on a même décidé de se rendre à notre prochaine destination avec leur voiture, (moyennant un supplément). La cadre est magnifique, on est entouré de rizières avec vue sur le mont Agung. Il reigne un calme comme rarement on a eu à Bali. Pour parler de la chambre, il y a deux bungalows neufs donc la literie est confortable et le linge de maison est propre. Petit coup de cœur pour la salle de bain qui est vraiment originale et fait son effet ! Le petit déjeuner offre un large choix et est plutôt bon. Bref nous recommandons cet endroit !

Il n’y a pas grand chose que nous n’avons pas aimé (surtout pour le prix payé). Mais pour être honnête et donne qqs petites notes d’amélioration, nous trouvons que la propreté de la salle de bain pourrait être améliorée légèrement (plus qu’un coup de balais serait le bienvenue). Et le petit déj pourrait être un peu plus conséquent (notamment le Lak Lak).
