Amazing location, so much to see from your room, rice harvesting, birds, a wide panorama of the valley, a clear view of spectacular volcano. Staff are really lovely. Highly recommend! And i'll be returning

Excellent place to stay in Sidemen

Great place with attentive and polite staff (specially Arda and Moni). The location is excellent with Mt. Agung and Sidemen rice terraces view. I couldn't have asked for more, I will definitely come back here if I am back in Sidemen.

Great value and top notch volcano view

It’s very new with great facilities. You can see Mount Agung from the balcony. The view is amazing. I actually did a bit of comparison and found that within this price range, the view here is the best. Also, on the day I came, my grab driver got lost. But the owner came to pick me up. It’s very kind of them. I appreciate it very much! The location is also great. There is two great warungs nearby that serves great food. It was a wonderful holiday for me! I would definitely recommend it.

Ticked every single box

The accommodation was just what were looking for. Clean, good a/c, stunning gardens, great pool - good depth for my 5' wife. The 2 outstanding features are stunning views over the ricefields towards the mountains, and ever so helpful staff. If you're lucky you might be able to sit on your veranda and sip on a cool beer watching torential rain and a stunning lightning show going on around you! The restaurant this time year was not manned full time but they just cooked a meal to order whenever requested - delicious to boot. We also hired a very sturdy moped for 3 days which allowed us to tour all the great sights of Sidemen and beyond. Overall, a great time. Thank you, team. John and Lisa.

Luxury in Sidemen!

I had 3 amazing nights at Bukit Luah. The family who runs the place are so lovely. They are always around to help or advice you when needed. The bungalow is beautiful with an amazing view on the rice fields. Its a dream to wake up there. If you are looking for a peace of heaven to stay in Sidemen search no more!

Already can’t wait to come back!

This was our favourite stay of our whole trip! Everything was perfect, I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. The hosts were so welcoming and hospitable, the location in the rice fields is priceless, the room was super clean and quiet, the food was delicious, and the new pool was a lovely surprise. We already can’t wait to come back! Thank you to the hosts for making our stay at Bukit Luah so memorable :)

A piece of paradise

Serene and private setting. Amazing views of the green hillside of rice paddies and farms. Comfortable bedroom with AC. We walked to nearby warung for dinner and also ate at Bukit. Delicious healthy breakfast and dinner. The staff is wonderful. So friendly and welcoming. Always with a smile. The pool is just added to the property's appeal along with colorful plants. A great place to explore this side of Bali. P. S. They suggested a driver, Komang, he helped us explore the area. Highly recommended. Very accommodating.

Lovely place to stay in beautiful Sidemen

What a setting, on the edge of the town with views across the rice terraces and even Gunung Agung made an appearance! The room was beautiful and the terrace overlooked the pool and the same view as described, a wonderful place to start and finish the day. The staff were all super friendly too, it was a great place to stay in a beautiful area.

The guesthouse is located out of town which was no problem for us as we were able to get a lift in every evening to go to the restaurants.

Great guesthouse!! The View from the Room is Amazing. You can Rent Scooter there. You have a really nice Pool and the Family takes such good care of the Garden. They Helped us with everything we needed and the breakfast was Great!!

Welcoming stay.

Incredible view. Very friendly owner and staff. In a quiet area. There is also a small swimming pool here which I think was newly constructed. The room was large, and we also had a spacious outdoor terrace where breakfast was served. They even got up early to make us a takeaway breakfast when we had to leave early in the morning!

The bathroom (very large) unfortunately had a bit of a smell, I think it of drainage.

Comfortable and convenient with a fantastic view of the rice field valley. The breakfast was really good and staff went above and beyond to help make me feel welcome.

Construction construction construction. It's a common problem everywhere in Bali. The noise was limited to the daytime until loud music from a nearby wedding started up and continued until 10pm.

Beautiful, breathtaking view. Clean room. Lovely breakfast and service. Out of town, but warungs nearby and Makna massage (amazing) in walking distance. Only issue during my stay was construction works adjacent property. When these are completed, paradise will be restored.

Good property and staff

Large room. Great location if you don’t want noise, however there is currently some construction underway. A great scenic view as the rooms look out on a rice paddy. The best breakfast I’ve had in traveling for 6 weeks. Staff are nice and helpful.

There’s noise during the day as they are constructing new 3 building/ rooms on the property, so there’s hammering and sawing. This will be a short term issue, then I would have rated it a 9.

It was one of our favourite accommodations in Indonesia. Clean, spacious, view is incredible. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast very tasty. We also had dinner and both prices and quality were very good.

Best stay i ever been.

This place has been the most beautiful and well organsised stay where I have been in all my life. Opening you curtains to and seeing this beautiful painting was on thing, but the familie who manages it are very kind, friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the son of the owners: yoga. Who I did an beautiful trekking with true the rice fields.

Sidemen ended up being exactly what I wanted and needed, I would come back again.

The view was the biggest seller for me but the family that runs it was my favorite. Their son Yoga was very helpful with anything I needed. He was also my local guide/driver. Very safe driver so if you need help getting around. The rice paddy’s were right outside the property if you wanted to walk around, plus there was a river close by that helped stay cool. The room I chose overlooked the mountains and rice fields, it had a huge shower, a vanity, plenty of space for luggage. And my favorite, slippers for walking around the room.

Relaxing stay in the middle of nature

The view from my terrace was amazing, really lovely. Watched the sunrise and the sunset the 3 days I was there, it was magical! The room was very comfortable, very clean, but being right next to a field, it felt like I was in the middle of nowhere. It was super quiet, other than birds and gekos, you couldn't hear anything. You could really relax and unwind after a long day sightseeing. The staff were super helpful and friendly, couldn't do enough to look after me. There was plently of room for my bags and the bathroom was enormous. Nice to have a bit of room to spread out. If you would like food, they can prepare you simple meals at the hotel, handy if you don't want to go out again looking for food. Breakfast was included and it was delicious. I'd stay here again!

Amazing view in a typical experience

Family-run guesthouse with an amazing view over the rice fields! Very typical experience within a small neighborhood of Sidemen. We loved every part of it and even had the chance to see a ceremony at the local temple!

The guesthouse serves food and there’s a delicious warung nearby, but be aware that the center of Sidemen is far to walk to. Luckily the guesthouse rents scooters and/or can organize a taxi for excursions.

Superb

Beautiful views from the terrace of the rice terraces, farmland and, of course, Gunung Agung. Only a one night stay unfortunately as we arrived in Sidemen a day earlier than planned. Fortunate to have had this property available and would highly recommend. Food also very good. On the quieter side of the valley but the better for it.

Scenic and tranquil stay in the middle of Sidemen's lush fields.

Located in tranquil sidemen right in some rice fields. Service is helpful but unobtrusive. Each room has a spacious terrace to eat/drink/relax and soak in the ambience.

This is just a note, not what could have been better: unless you have motorbike/bike/taxi, it will be about 10-15 minute walk to "town" or similar places. But the relative isolation is the charm of the place...

The room was fantastic with a very comfy bed and very clean. The views from the balcony were stunning, and the family were so lovely and always willing to help as well as making very cheap food that’s the best we had in Bali! Can’t recommend it enough fantastic stay! The best place we stayed in our 2 months travelling Asia.
