Rent a scooter in really good condition and guided me on the activities in Sidemen. The place is really great to stay in. Room have AC, hot shower, comfortable bed and big room with more than enough space.

Once you’re there, you don’t want to leave!

I spent 5 nights in GJ Guest House Sidemen and I enjoyed every minute of it. What a wonderful place! The two apartments are part of the family compound which is beautifully designed and decorated. The apartments are spacious and airy with large windows, a terrace in front and a veranda in the back with the most magnificent view of rice terraces you can imagine. Nyoman and his son Krisna (and the rest of the family) really do everything to make you feel at home and comfortable. And they have thought of everything, every little detail is spot on. Be aware: there’s only two apartments so don’t hesitate to book when there’s availability. You won’t regret it!

local farm house in Sidemen

the breakfast menu was very small - if you don't like bananas I wouldn't recommend you stay here as it is a very sweet breakfast I suggest adding a savoury option the apartment is large in size with a nice view of the farming grounds and ocean in the distance, you can see the sunset from the terrance, you will share a balcony with another guest if they have one. my host was kind enough to drive me into Sidemen town about 15min car journey to attend a silver making class, that was the highlight of sidemen however once again 250k to travel into town was a little to much money for me,

I didn't like the loud music played by neighbours for 3 hours, I asked the host where the music is coming from he said locals party after work and then eat dinner and the music stops, I came for peace and quiet and unfortunately that wasn't the case. The bed was comfortable and large however mine was missing the duvet cover and also found a spider under my duvet insert. There is literally no transport to get out of Sidemen, unless you want to pay 300k to travel back into Sanur, I ended up paying 200k via gojek after a very lengthy argument with go jek driver and host also offered his cousin to charge me 300k to drive me back into town. I ended up leaving 1 day early, and the host wasn't pleased he refunded me half of my stay for the night I did not stay I think 600k a night is a bit to expensive for this homestay.

Zeer warm welkom bij aankomst. De eigenaar is een geweldig lieve man! De kamer heeft een super mooi uitzicht. Lekker ontbijt. En het beste bed waar ik op Bali in heb mogen slapen. See you next time!

Leuk verblijf

Prima verblijf en goede prijskwaliteit verhouding. Echt een super aardige familie die alles voor je wil regelen en je overal mee wil helpen. Ontbijtkeuze is niet heel breed. Verder wel een heel mooi uitzicht op de jungle vanaf je balkon.

Superbe séjour

La vue sur les rizières est magnifique , L'appartement neuf aussi. Nyoman est adorable , plein de conseils pour le séjour sur Sidemen , il fait beaucoup d'efforts pour ses hôtes , il parle un peu français ( et bien sûr anglais !) et veut continuer d'apprendre. On se sent comme a la maison.le lit est très confortable. Le petit déjeuner servis sur la terrasse est très bon très copieux et livré a l'heure de votre choix.

Phänomenal

Alles war super. Die lage der Unterkunft, der Service von Nyoman und seiner Familie einfach wie Familie aufgenommen. Rollerverleihung plus der Transport auf der Abreise. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und die Aussicht vom Balkon leute, oh mein gott traumhaft. Wenn ich zurück in Sidemen bin werde ich wieder dort übernachten. Frühstück bombastisch alles einfach nur Top.

Parfait

Le gérant ainsi que sa famille été d’une extrême gentillesse, simple, discret, accueillant. Nous avons vraiment apprécié passer du temps dans leur logement. Tout est neuf, très propre. Le petit déjeuner est excellent et vraiment copieux. On nous a même proposer de refaire le ménage pendant le séjour. Vraiment top du top.

Nous avons tout aimer. Aucunes fausses notes de la part des gérants.
