The view is stunning! Be prepared for some breathtaking views from the room, and from the pool. The staff are very helpful and cooperative. Ms. Nila is a super woman; she always makes sure that all guests are super comfortable!
Wifi in the rooms could be improved.

It was a wonderful surprise: comfortable, spacious rooms and a great bathroom. Our room had a covered terrace with a stunning view. There was a dining table with chairs at the terrace, so we were able to order dinner there from the hotel restaurant. The restaurant’s cuisine was excellent, and it also has the best view of Mount Agung and the surrounding area.
The garden is beautiful, with lovely waterlilies and other tropical plants. The pool is a bit cool, but on sunny days it’s perfectly fine. Its size is also very good compared to the number of hotel rooms.
Staff was always helpful and kind.
Small ants at the room.

The views from every room are breathtaking and one you could never get sick of looking at. Equally, the view of Mount Agung from the restaurant are special. The rooms are large and very spacious. Plenty of room to swing a cat (if that is your thing), equipped with a large bathroom, lounge area with a Sofia, desk and an outside seating area. The restaurant has a great and very reasonably priced menu catering to all tastes and dietary needs, and the quality and presentation of the food is outstanding. But overall, it is the staff that will make the biggest impression on you. They are always smiling, friendly and ready to go the extra mile to please or satisfy a request. Tedy, Sari, Ari and the team are simply the best.
Great location for the young and athletic, but if you have mobility issues, even stiff knees, it is not the place for you. There are oversized and
Randomly raised steps from reception to the hotel grounds, followed by several series of the same to your room and the restaurant, which present a challenge even for the fit, especially when raining.

Lovely staff. Grounds very pretty.
Would have liked two pillows and more options than Bali coffee but these were only minor things

Very disappointing. The room numbers on booking.com do not correspondent with the numbers at the premises. I was assigned a room downstairs - last room in the back. My view was a grey wall to the left and straight ahead. Be aware that the views you see on booking.com are mostly from rooms upstairs or the restaurant. Most of the rooms downstairs face a big grey wall - whose purpose I did not find out - staff could not tell me either.
Opening the door to the room a musty, moldy smell awaited me. There were also a lot of mosquitos in there. So I asked for some mosquito and some room spray. The latter did its job. But the big drawback with the room is that you do not have a real window to get some light into the room - so you have to keep the door open which attracts more insects. The room is very dark and the only real window has privacy shielding film on it. The wooden window has no pane. That leaves you with either staring at the wooden door and window with your light on in the room, or opening up inviting mosquitos.
At this price I would have expected more - the moist room did not help to make it better at all. In the bathroom there was a leaking pipe behind the toilet. All in all I was neither happy nor comfortable there and left after one night to find much better accommodation. I was really mislead be the nice pictures which do not tell the entire truth. Usually I book one night to find out if I like a place and the I might consider extending. At this place extension was never an option.
The waterboiler is placed at a position where you cannot plug it so you have to boil your water on your nightstand.
Staff is nice though and the restaurant is really good -- be it for breakfast or dinner.
The room is totally overpriced for what you get. Upstairs rooms might be better - considering the view and the fact that the people above me were very loud and the ceilings are very thin.
This was by far the worst and most expensive hotel during my entire 7 weeks of traveling Bali. Cannot recommend at all.

The rooms (I stayed 3 nights in all, in 2 different rooms) were spacious and absolutely spotless. The views from both rooms were stunning. Staff could not have been more helpful. The restaurant served some of the most delicious dishes I had over my whole holiday - each dish was beautifully and carefully plated, as well to look as delicious as it was. Pool and pool area was also lovely and clean. I really appreciated the sofa in the room - so many places you can sit on the bed.
I have nothing to add

One of the best places we’ve stayed in Bali. Spacious and clean room with nice little terrace, lovely garden with pool which is perfect place to chill around. Awesome breakfast selection, and also lunch/dinner menu in the restaurant.
The water in the shower was getting either too hot, or too cold, no stable temeperature (hard to explain), but that was really just a minor issue.

Lovely rooms, clean & spacious. Great location for walking to rice terraces & to nearby restaurants
This didn’t affect me but there are a lot of steps up to the rooms, could be a problem for some people.

This place was a real gem the photos do not do it justice! Come here before it becomes the next ubud. Sparse but clean rooms good wifi and air conditioning. Was not expecting it to have such a great onsite restaurant along with potentially the best view in sideman. Fyi i would recommend about 2 full days, more if you want to explore the region rather than just around sideman.
Water in shower was not very hot.

The onsite restaurant had ample choices for our three night stay and most of the dishes were deliciously prepared. The staff were delightful and very professional.
We traveled in a group and I had the Family House at the far end of the field. This unit is the only one with no A/C which was not a problem with the fan during my March stay. There are a lot of openings between French doors, under doors, around windows, and there is open spaces between the roof and the walls- it’s the Balinese style of home. This was not preferable and I suggest staying in the other units. The rooms are lovely as is the property and the setting overlooking Mt Agung and the rice fields couldn’t be more perfect. The staff was incredible and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Make sure to take advantage of the onsite massages and lovely pool area.

Nice big room and big bathroom. Nice restaurant. Beautiful views. Very friendly staff. Really pleasant stay.
Nothing major at all just lacked couple of amenities like no hair drier in the room, bottle opener for water was bent and broken, no cushions for balcony chairs.

The property was as per description and the staff were awesome and respectful. We arrived well after midnight but the security team served us with all smiles. Really enjoyed our stay and couldn’t have asked for more. Our rooms were large, spacious and neat. The infinity pool was clean and warm!
The location was a bit far from our activities but was accessible as we had transport organised. The scenery was serene and provided sense of holiday that we needed. Food and beverages were lovely. Thank you Villa Karma Loka for making our holiday memorable. I would book again should I come back to Bali.
None of us had anything to complain about.

The staff was wonderful, very lovely people. Location of the hotel was great, overlooking the valley with its stunning scenery and surroundings, with mount Agung as a backdrop, you just can’t keep your eyes of it. The ricefield walk with Ketut was wonderful and very informative. It gives you an insight in the life of local people, much respect do they get from us. The food was basic but freshly cooked and just good. The massage was great!
I don’t get the four star rating. The facilities are quite basic. There is no airco (but a fan), no TV. The bathroom needs a bit of an update and better cleaning. I guess in the old days we would call this a homestay. But hey, the staff and the lush tropical green surroundings surpassed the negative.

Very nice place and nice pool with a beautiful view of rice terraces.
The staff was very friendly and helped us arrange for a car on very short notice to go see a waterfall. They also helped arrange for a guided tour of the nearby rice terraces.
The food was very good!
As we were travelleing with a baby it was not convonient that a babychair was not available.
Additionally, it would be nice with more baby safety equipment in the family bungalow ( e.g. a gate at the top of the stairs)
Overall, it was a very nice place though.

The staff were lovely and the food was really nice.
The shower never heated up and the bath takes forever to fill up as the water pressure is very low.
The room is full of mosquitos.
There’s only a fan so it gets really hot especially during the night.
We had frogs jumping wound our room at 1am.
Quite a lot of ants everywhere in the room.
