Amazing view of mountains. Side view of Mt Agung, large clean room, nice breakfast on the balcony provided. Staff very friendly and helpful with good English. Massage can be organised on site.

Cozy, clean, and pleasant accommodation with a beautiful view

There is a beautiful view of the rice fields. Even when the rice has been harvested, it’s still very nice. The bungalow is clean, cozy, and bright. The bed is comfortable with pleasant bedding. There is also a sofa and a refrigerator. The bathroom is comfortable and spacious. Each bungalow has its own small terrace with a table and chairs. The staff are friendly and polite. You can choose dishes for breakfast, which is very convenient. Rice terraces for walking are about 1.2 km away. Construction has started nearby, but during our stay the noise was minimal — I barely noticed it. At night it is very quiet.

Clean, great staff/family, excellent spa/massages, cold a/c, location is easy to walk to everything, the view, the comfortable bed and bedding, and so much more! The feeling/energy here can’t be beat! BOOK IT!

Fantastic hotel and would definitely stay there again

A fantastic wooden style chalet overlooking the rice terraces and hills.. the room was clean, tidy, and spacious.. the bathroom was big with a nice hot shower. The owners are very nice and happy to help out in anything that you need, it was obvious that they love their hotel and I can see why as I wasn't disappointed. If you have a scooter there was parking outside the reception I only stayed 1 night (wish it was more to be honest), I was going out to eat but the weather was a bit changeable so I decided to order food from the hotel.. the food was very good and it was brought to me as I sat on my terrace as I listened to the rain.

Quite pleasant but could be substantially improved.

Putu who does nearly everything there is incredible and went out of her way to help me which I appreciated as the owners were preoccupied with ceremonies for much of the time. My room was pleasant tho very hot in the afternoon sun. Bagus, one of the owners, kindly dropped me into town by motorcycle so I could explore. They also arranged for a driver and guide to take me sight-seeing.

The location was inconvenient and far from any other places to eat or have massages etc The massages available were over-priced. If you do not have your own transport it is very difficult. The steps are steep to get to the restaurant and to the property, some people would struggle... And there was no railing/wall around my verandah which was about 2 metres to the ground. Quite dangerous especially if you had a young child

Lovely position overlooking rice terraces, and close to the main street and shops. Very friendly family run resort, where they couldn't do enough for us. The massages were some of the best we've ever had. Good choice of restaurants are within walking distance.

A beautiful villa in the heart of Sidemen!

This is a wonderful family business in an excellent location! Our villa was beautiful and was perfectly equipped with amenities, such as a fridge, super comfortable bed, and hot shower. Delicious breakfast served every morning and the family was incredibly accommodating of dietary restrictions. Komang was an excellent host and was very quick to respond to any of our questions. We highly recommend the Hindu offerings class, taught by Komang’s daughter Mira, to all those who are interested in learning about Balinese culture!

There is some occasional noise from nearby construction, but it really didn’t bother us too much! By the afternoon/evening, it stops and the environment is peaceful.

Lovely hosts, comfortable room with great views. Great value for money

I stayed here for three nights and what an experience it was. This is a family run guesthouse and they are humble, kind and gracious hosts. The rooms are absolutely comfortable and have a great view. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms too. Komang’s wife weaves and you can attend her class. I also enjoyed a private tour he arranged for me through the rice paddies and a local traditional market. Everything including a clean, comfortable restaurant is nearby. Breakfast was included in my package and I enjoyed home made flavours. Thank you, Komang and family.

Friendly, scenic and accommodating

Beautiful scenery around, the family who own it were super accommodating and friendly, the breakfasts were delicious and the bed was really comfy, seriously. Toiletries in the bathroom were useful, everything was as described and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anybody. The view out the room with breakfast was breathtaking.

Manuk Dewata did exceed my expectations. I found this small family run business to be super friendly, professional and spotlessly clean. Any question or request was meet with a smile and a genuine eagerness to please, how refreshing! Set within easy walking distance to numerous eating places and small convenience stores. Great breakie too.

Can’t think of a thing. No TV or Pool but that’s not an issue for me. There is a restaurant close by that will allow patrons to use their pool if you purchase a meal or beverage.

The accommodation was exceptionally clean and the staff were just lovely. The view from the verandah is gorgeous. The bed was huge with lovely linen, heaps of pillows and I loved it. A good airconditioner and also a fan in the room. Also a good breakfast served on your own verandah.

This place has beautiful views and great service

This place is exceptional! I had a balcony that overlooked beautiful rice fields with hills in the distance—the view was extraordinary! The room was large, clean, and the staff were wonderful. They brought breakfast up to my balcony at the time I specified, and it was an extremely pleasant way to start the day. I will 100% stay here again, and recommend it to all friends and family. A wonderful time!

Wow, Wow, Wow!

I absolutely loved my stay at Manuk Dewata. The property has only been opened a couple of months and the wooden villas are so spacious and clean. The king size bed is so comfortable and the bathroom is large. My favourite was sitting on the balcony taking in the stunning views over the rice fields. The family who run the homestay are so friendly and attentive. I ordered dinner from their menu and it was some of the best food i've eaten in Sidemen - restaurant quality! The location is central to everything Sidemen has to offer but far enough set off the road that it is so quiet. I cannot recommend this property highly enough! I will be back soon.

Het ontbijt was goed. Eigenlijk Bali standaard: ei met toast of pannenkoek, fruit, fruitsap, koffie. Mooi landelijk uitzicht. Heel leuk om een weefles te kunnen nemen.

Tout franchement la propreté mais surtout l’accueil incroyable du personnel et de la jeune qui s’occupe absolument de nous jusqu’à nous déposer gratuitement pour une activité de ou de prendre le temps de nous expliquer les choses de trouver quelqu’un peu importe ce qu’on a besoin. Au petit soin. Adorable. Je recommande !!

Eine sehr saubere und idyllische Unterkunft. Das Zimmer ist gepflegt, das Bad außergewöhnlich groß und die Dusche wirklich top. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und wird morgens direkt auf den Balkon serviert. Von dort hat man einen schönen Blick auf die Berge und den Dschungel. Absolute Empfehlung.
