Everything was great about this place.
Nice room with private bathroom, I felt like my terrace opened to the jungle which I loved.
Khrisna and his family are adorable, genuine and simple people.
I’d recommend to go on a trekking through the rice fields with him, it was an amazing experience.
They offer a full list of activities and restaurant service. You can never get bored over there!

Very quiet place, very friendly people. The place is clean and the food is correct. Well placed for walks, about 20 min to the Sidimen rice fields.
Not much of views, secluded in the garden, proximity to the neighbors.

The food, the location and the rice tour that they offer was wonderful. Totally recommended.

The accommodation was delightful, with upstairs balcony and front deck. The pool was very refreshing! Breakfast was excellent. The bed was extremely comfortable.
nothing major. Stairs were a bit steep!

It was a well run homestay . The staff were very polite and helpful. It was great to have the option of eating meals on the deck outside our room. The bathroom was a good size and the shower was good. Our room was cleaned daily and we were provided with fresh towels. When we needed medical advice, the owner who is a qualified nurse, was extremely helpful .
We preferred to eat at our room . No-one seemed to go to the in-house restaurant for food while we were there. The food was ok . In our ‘cottage’ / cabin there was a steep flight of stairs to the 1st floor . This gave us a great view from a balcony but you had to be careful when going to the bathroom during the night.

Staying at Khrisna Hs and Cottages was an absolutely magical experience. From watching the breathtaking sunrises and sunsets on the terrace to enjoying delicious meals and refreshing swims in the pool, every moment was pure joy. The cottages are cozy, clean, and surrounded by stunning nature, creating the perfect atmosphere to relax.
What touched me most was the heartfelt hospitality: the owners and staff do everything from the heart to make guests feel welcome and cared for. Thanks to them, our last week in Bali was truly unforgettable and filled with magic. I am deeply grateful and can only recommend this place to anyone looking for a special stay in Sidemen.

Really nice bungalows and the whole area of the hotel is pretty nice designed, the breakfast was good but basic, the scooter was one of the better ones we got in Bali and the stuff is as friendly as in whole Bali
But then at one night thousands!!! Of undefinable moths were coming out of our bungalow. If we do not need to sleep there it would have been an interesting nature event in which also a lot of bat's were hunting the moths.
After they were gone we checked out room and found many maggots and also a dead gecko... That was a bit to much...

With our two children, we felt truly welcome from day one. The family is genuinely warm and helpful: the eldest son took us on a walk through the rice fields and to a traditional sarong weaving workshop, and the youngest son helped our son make his kite.
When our daughter burned herself to a scooter exhaust pipe, she was immediately cared for with love and professionalism by the owner, who happened to be a nurse. The food was delicious, enjoyed on our private patio with a beautiful view of the pool. They tipped us a very good silver craftsman who helped us create beautiful silver rings for a good price. All in all a warm, authentic vibe – an absolute must-stay!
Nothing, it was just perfect.

Really well located. Good, comfy, basic rooms and lovely staff. Food was great.
Nice gardens and pool and a short walk either to local markets one way or fancier places the other way. Silversmiths everywhere and a great silver shop just around the corner

Bathroom facilities were ok but could do with a few more shelves and better hooks for towels

It is a beautiful green, well tended garden. The rooms are clean and pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Nothing, it was a lovely place to stay.

The location allowed me to walk to close by warungs and cafes as well as centre of town. Loved the gardens looking out at a jungle wonderland. My room was private with a roomy balcony
Some of the paths were very slippery in rain. Very short with towel supply (more supplied on request) . Not a problem with this specific property but keep in mind the only ATM in this town is very far walk from most accomodation.

The pool was lovely surround by trees and private. The staff were lovely but only a few
Spoke Good English so some Confusion at times.
Would be a great location if we rented a motor bike- that said only a short 10-15 min walk uphill to get to More places to eat & get massages etc..
The breakfast / food on site wasn't great. Obviously being in the trees leads to more mosquitoes.

The water pressure and hot water were good. The girls who delivered breakfast were nice. The breakfast and welcome drink were nice. The pool was nice. The bed was clean.
The reception staff are unfriendly and unhelpful. We asked for the price of transport which they supposedly offer 4 times but never got an answer. Never a hello or a smile. The room was not like the photos. The gardens are unkept. The pool chairs are uncomfortable.bad value for money. Very disappointing.

The room was not at all like on the photos. The gardens are unkept. The pool chairs are really uncomfortable. The reception staff are not very friendly and unhelpful. We asked for the price for transport 3 times and in the end never got a reply. Bad value for money. Very disappointing.

I had a lovely room near the swimming pool but surrounded by tropical vegetation. The room was big and clean and the bed was firm. I had my breakfast on the balcony, which had a great view. The breakfast was amazing and generous - coffee, omelette, toast and either a platter of fruit or a fresh fruit juice. The pool was lovely. I went on a great motorbike tour of the surrounding area which was very beautiful. This was done by the owner's son, and I was also taken to a weaving place to learn how this was done. It was really interesting. There was a traditional local market nearby. The accommodation is not far from the village in one direction, or lovely rice fields and restaurants in the other. Great for walks. The family that run this place are lovely and so helpful. The area of Sidemen is all villages and has a very traditional Balinese vibe.

Small homestay, clean, lovely pool, close to nice warungs
The mattress was uncomfortable as it was only foam. Walls are very thin you can hear everything!

A lovely Homestay, Khrishna and his family could not be more accommodating or friendly. The bathroom is open which is lovely and the shower is superb. Great base to explore everything Sideman has to offer. Scooter to rent onsite so no hanging around and organised our trip to the port when we left. Couldn't as for more from Krishna!
Slightly tired and not a 5 star breakfast but don't let this put you off, would stay there again.

Beautiful gem tucked into the jungle. At least 1/2 dozen great restaurants/cafe's with panoramic views within walking distance. A ton of spa's. Great little convienence store right by the entrance. Big refreshing pool. Super warm and accommodating owners on site. Incredible value.

The whole resort was superb - a fantastic pool, great meals, staff amazing and really good rooms (the size of my bathtub was huge)
Nothing really - for the price it well and truly exceeded my expectations

Beautiful, authentic property in the heart of Sidemen with lush tropical gardens. The room was large with a lovely outdoor sitting area. The shower worked well despite some reviews saying it is outside, it is not exposed or without a roof. The breakfast was basic but perfectly acceptable. Some restaurants nearby. We had a really fabulous start to our holiday here.

Pleasant, helpful staff and a lovely, unique resort in a stunning, natural environment surrounded by trees. Lovely pool, good menu at affordable prices.
Paths slippery in rain as no shelter and rooms got cold during downpours. Lighting in rooms a bit too dim. It would have been an entirely different experience in the sunshine - we just got unlucky.

nice view
I was in a bamboo hut where the walls did not go up to the roof. I had a bat fly in. I was bitten twice by leeches in my room. The bathroom was basic. Two other travellers had Bali Belly and the sound their loud vomiting was not blocked out by the bamboo walls

comfortable beds, super nice and very clean pool, never saw a leaf in there. staff was nice. breakfast was brought to your cottages’ terrace. the location was great and spacey.
cleaning the room means only making the bed, no cleaning was done. no AC while it can still stay quite hot at night, especially when it’s cloudy. if you’re not into wildlife in your room, then this is not your place.

Friendly helpful staff running a lovely little garden "resort" / homestay. Perfect for some book reading, resting or wandering around the district. We used it as a pick-up point and the best recovery spot for climbing Gunung Agung via Pura Pasar temple. The property host booked our climbing guide Botak Pengungsi who was fantastic - great fun guy who looked after us very carefully for a challenging but absolutely wonderful climb. We loved his home grown coffee at 4am half way up, home grown passion fruits and home cooked banana fritters at the top.
A minor thing - the mosquito nets on the beds were a bit hard to make secure. Google says the risk of malaria in Bali is low but I was pleased that there were nets.
