Still my favorite place to go to in Sidemen

This was the 3rd time I stayed at Alamdhari and like all the times before I really enjoyed it. The resort is beautifully situated on a hill slope with a beautiful view from the rooms and the pool. Also near all kinds of nice restaurants and shops. The room (had the family room) is nicely designed and clean, and we loved the spacious balcony. The staff was like always very friendly and supportive. For breakfast you get a lot, which is maybe too much (could not finish it all).

The stairs were a bit slippery because of some vegetation. Glad to see that at our departure they were cleaning it. The parasols at the pool might require to be replaced because of the mold. In the room they mosquito fence in the bathroom and shower came lose so good to check that to avoid mosquitos coming in. Just some minor maintenance stuff which definitely not bothered our stay. For the breakfast maybe good to focus a bit more on quality (pancakes were quite dry) than quantity.

Nothing I liked

The Alamdhari Resort does not react when you have a question or if you are not satisfied. They don.t help you in any way. I will not cone there again.

Gorgeous views of Agung appearing from the clouds every morning- superb! Breakfast and service excellent with great attention to detail. No request was left unmet.

Not surprisingly the property is built on terraced land so if you are not able bodied access is difficult.

Amazing view from everywhere and so lush and such friendly staff

Spotlessly clean lovely quiet room staff so friendly. We used their taxi service to Ubud and the driver was excellent, very friendly and excellent driver as U bud is just busy busy.

Would prefer to order what I want to eat instead of whole tray, but it was very nice food.

A very peaceful setting with a fantastic restaurant just 300m away, perfect.

We were very impressed with the tranquil location and thanks to Usee, we were able to get an elevated light and bright upstairs room, overlooking locals working in the fields thrashing and drying the rice! The rooms were very spacious with a huge balcony overlooking the swimming pool.

Peaceful resort in a stunning location amid the rice paddies

Beautiful location and helpful, happy staff. Adequate restaurant. Fairly ordinary breakfast compared to other resorts, but there are numerous cafes, warungs and other resorts in easy walking distance.

Needs some maintenance in the rooms and exterior areas as with much of the tropics.

Great views, location, comfortable accommodations, staff super nice. Restaurant has a good selection of.food and was delicious. Excellent views from restaurant. Pool was nice. Great value overall.staff helped arrange laundry, get a scooter and arrange transportation.

The yoga and massage areas were hot, they should have ceiling fans or close it with air conditioning. Lots of stairs and needed to walk up and down to go everywhere. It did not bother us but could be an issue for people with physical limitations.

We enjoyed staying here very much. The staff were very helpful, friendly and lovely. The pool was amazing, our morning swims incredible. The view from our room was gorgeous. The rice fields are incredible and beautifully kept. Dinner at the restaurant was perfect, the food was so tasty and priced really well. We loved walking though the little streets, which are well looked after. It felt like the entire location was a resort. We ended up staying for two nights. I wanted to stay longer, however the rest of our trip would not allow it. Highly recommend a scooter in order to see things a little further out. It is the best way to do it.

I do not have anything negative to say. Sideman is a beautiful place to see. It was perfect.

Great value for money in a peaceful location with a lovely pool

The staff, location, views and peacefulness were all top quality. We had a lovely few days here and was one of the best places we stayed in Bali, especially for the price.

Last resort option - good value for money

Location and view were really nice. The room was huge and had a terrace. The staff were helpful and friendly. They arranged all we asked for and even gave us a breakfast on a way. Nice breakfast.

The sheets were washed out and didn’t look white anymore. The room was not possible to seal properly - gaps in windows and therefore there were many bugs and mosquitoes. The water bottles provided had a mold on them. The food in restaurant was rather not great.

Favourite accommodation in Bali

Amazing value for money. Such beautiful large rooms, nice bathroom and just amazing views. Comfortable bed. Our favourite hotel out of 6 places we stayed in Bali. Very clean. They clean your room every day. Beautiful pool with fantastic views better than in the photos. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Through the hotel we did the rice paddy tour which I highly recommend and also visited the gembleng water fall, also very good. Generous breakfast included. Hotel restaurant was good. Lots of very nice restaurants in walking distance nearby. Free clean water at hotel.

Need fly wire/mesh over air holes in bathroom. Although we kept bathroom door closed to make sure no mosquitoes came in. A very large bee kept buzzing around my head during massage at their spa. It kept returning to buzz right around my head. Need bug proof area for on site massages.

Pleasant small resort for a short stay in Sidemen

Very comfortable stay at the Alamdhari. Large nice room with large bathroom, comfortable bed, hot water and good water pressure. Nice view over the pool and nice environment. Food is correct and lots of other options within walking distance. I was assigned the family room (though I was alone) and this room is very nice for a couple with 2 kids as it has a separate bedroom with 2 single beds. Fair price for the laundy (by kilo) service with next day delivery, smiling and friendly staff eager to serve.

Once you enter a code for the safety deposit box, you cannot change it, so set it once for all when the staff makes you visit the room. It would have been great to put grids on the bathroom vent holes to avoid mosquitos to get in :) The scooter rented from the hotel was satisfying for short rides around Sidemen but if you plan to go further (Kintamani, Ubud, ...) I recommend looking for other rental companies in the village.

Exceptional

The views both from the room and the restaurant were breathtaking, with lush greenery stretching as far as the eye could see. The hotel's luxurious pool added an extra touch of indulgence, allowing me to relax and unwind while taking in the serene beauty of nature. The breakfast was excellent, with fruit, juices, and many other options. We had the chance to stay there for dinner one night, it was very tasty and for a great price. The staff couldn't have been nicer and more attentive. Highly recommended for a tranquil escape.

This probably was beautiful! The view is absolutely spectacular and the grounds were impeccably kept. The restaurant in the pool facility were both so gorgeous. And our room was beautiful with a beautiful garden view interview out to the rice fields. Pros, the grounds, the cleanliness of the room, the friendly staff that was incredibly helpful everything from renting a scooter to transporting our luggage to the next place. We couldn’t avast for a better staff! Yusi was particularly amazing!🙏 Overall, it’s an lovely and pretty room to stand in a very nice property. The staff was very friendly. The food was a six out of 10. The hot water was too short and the AC didn’t fully cool the room. If those things are not that important to you. No problem. If you love a good view and a beautiful pool, then this is a great property.

Cons, the hot water ran out after one shower. Although it was incredibly hot, so if you love, hot water, you’re gonna love the temperature just you have to take a quick shower. And the AC blue consistently but for whatever reason the room still wouldn’t fully cool.

Superb

The rooms are really big and spacious with a nice view on the rice fields and or the pool. I highly recommend this hotel. Sidemen is really a great place to stay for 1 or 2 days in Bali!

The food at the hotel is a bit exoensive. However, there is warung just few meters from the hotel where you can eat and it is really good!

The room was large, clean and offering amazing views.

I thought the restaurant and food was quite disappointing. Breakfast was hit and miss and other meals just did not deliver. A number of local restaurants nearby offering cheaper and better quality food. The whole place just felt like it was too commercially driven and staff whilst polite and friendly just seemed to be going through the motions and at no point did they seem to relax and offer what seemed like a genuine smile, a real shame. Whilst it’s fair to say everything in Sideman is overpriced, this place definitely is. The room was fine but just a little to expensive.

Amazing!!!!

We had a room that had the most incredible view!! We fell in love with this place right away! The staff is soooo friendly, the environment so peaceful, the room is spacious, clean and it smells very nice!! The pool had an amazing view and was very clean. You could order something to eat ( or anything else) true WhatsApp! Clever! :) We rented a scooter and had a beautiful day between the rice fields! Sidemen is gorgeous and quiet, we hope it stays this way! Next door there is a cute nice place to have a coffee! You can easily walk to other places, or take the scooter :) We would love to come back here some day!!

A lot of bugs, insects, ants and big big geckos in my room. I had to sleep under the mosquito net and it become a task tucking it in 360 and if I needed to go to the toilet night time getting in and out - always looking for bugs! Bats flying around just outside my room made sitting outside after dusk impossible
