Incredible Jungle Stay with Modern Room

The views of the valley and jungle are absolutely breathtaking! Recommend booking one of the upper bungalows for a better view. Some of the reviews here mentioned not liking the open air bathroom. Personally, I loved walking out into the space as it blended naturally with nature I did not see any creepy crawlies, and if I did, I certainly would not be complaining about them as this is all part of staying in nature. The room itself was huge, modern, and very clean with a very comfortable bed. The terrace overlooking the pool (and the pool itself) was incredible. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Plenty of scooters for rent within walking distance of the hotel.

The Wi-Fi was pretty much non-existent. It didn’t work for me in my room or in the restaurant. Once or twice I was able to get a connection, but it didn’t last very long. One of the staff members was kind enough to hotspot me, and that worked. Normally I wouldn’t care that much, but it was important to preserve my data to use maps as I was navigating on my scooter alone. Just a note that it seemed to work for non-iPhone users so perhaps it was just my phone model. Recommended to have a back up (sim/e-sim) of some sort.

If you’re looking for a break where life stands still, Sideman and in particular the cottages, is where it’s at.

I loved the peacefulness the property and area brings.

When asking the staff about local services they weren’t quite sure what I meant or who to speak to. I ended up finding the information I needed

Great position and view, super kind and helpful personnel, spacious room with comfy bed and nice property overall. Restaurant was also good and very reasonably priced. Just Nextdoor a scooter rental and a massage parlor.

The pool is amazing, you can relax with a great view. Rooms are huge and comfortable, as well as the bathroom. Good warung just next door, you can eat during sunset for the best view!

Wifi is not working in the room or in the pool. Shower is minimal pressure. Staff could be friendlier.

The view from top floor room was fantastic. Breakfast was good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean on arrival. Staff consistently offered to refresh room if I went out.

No TV. WiFi was unusable most of the time. The mattress was in serious need of replacement.

Fantastic stay in a beautiful area.

Lovely little place with spectacular views, yummy food, nice pool, helpful staff. Located near some terrific restaurants and silver making classes.

That we only stayed for 2 nights and not more! Some attractions were a long distance away so I would recommend renting a scooter if you want to visit the gembleng waterfall or koli koli or ask the reception for a driver like we did.

Beautiful location but with some downsides that could be improved

The property is beautiful with a wonderful pool and view. The villa has a good location, nearby great restaurants. The staff was very nice and helpful. They were very reactive when we needed something.

There were a few points we liked less during our stay: - The bed sheets were stained with some apparent blood stains - Fridge was so dirty and rotten we asked it to be cleaned when we arrived - The bathroom was not great: the toilets were dirty, the sink would also need to good scrap. During our stay there was not even water. Until the next day the quantity of warm water in the shower was very limited. - The breakfast is small and not great - There was no safe, it was broken - The rooms really lack of privacy, especially with the outside bathrooms being just next to the pool and you need to keep your curtains shut the whole time as people walk by all the time. - The door of the room is really hard to lock and unlock - The bed is not very comfortable because the mattress is very old.

I enjoyed my stay at Arta Nadi Villa. I had everything I needed. There are a few stairs if you get a villa not close to the pool. My luggage was carried up and down the stairs for me. A stand out for me was the softness of the sheets

We had a really good time in this place. The staff were super friendly and helpful from the start. Check-in was easy, and our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The hotel is in a great location – close to rice fields , restaurants, and places to visit. It was quiet at night, so we slept well. Breakfast was tasty with lots of options.

Beautiful hotel in central location

The hotel grounds and the room are lovely! The room was pretty comfortable and it is centrally located. The staff is kind and helpful. They accommodated my request to leave the room keys and my bag with them in case I didn’t return before check out.

Gecko poop kept appearing at the foot of the bed which was annoying. The room is not sealed off completely from the outside so critters can enter. Also, this doesn’t have anything to do with the hotel but beware of the Shanti Spa next door. I had an uncomfortable interaction with the owner who didn’t respect my request to cancel a taxi ride, showed up any ways at the scheduled time and scolded me for canceling 40 minutes prior to departing. I felt manipulated into taking a ride with him even though I didn’t feel comfortable with the situation.

Great location with many restaurants close but also surrounded by beautiful nature. The pool was nice with beautiful view. Many options for breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful!

The room was not sealed so bugs and lizards could easily get in. We had a mosquito net over the bed but I still hope they seal the rooms in the future because everything else was great!

The perfect gem in Sidaman

Came again to this place after 8 years, what can I tell if I probably already put a 10 in my previous review. Everything is perfect ! The staff are so nice, the view of the Sidaman cliff from the swimming pool, the room, the mosquito net (yes this is very important !) , the small restaurant, and probably the best banana pancake / piseng goreng I have eaten in Bali. I would recommend , this is a Gem hotel, and if I have to go back to Bali and Sidaman area, I would just go back there.

Beautiful Pool area but uncomfortable rooms (bugs and no air con)

The grounds of the Villa are beautiful and the pool view is stunning. The breakfast was good and it was very handy to have a restaurant on site. We were able to rent a moped off them and the staff were very friendly, kind and helpful.

There are gaps in the roof for airflow, so creatures such as mosquitoes and very large lizards can enter your room which may be very off putting to sleep in. Also, the cleaning of the room was disappointing. The cobwebs looked like they had been in the room for a very long time. There was also marks and holes in the towels provided.

Exceptional

This was the best place we stayed during our 3 week Bali trip. The Hosts were so nice and welcoming. G'Day spent a whole day with us on a tour to the temple and waterfall and we learned so much about Balinese culture from him. We're forever grateful for our stay there. Would definitely come again! Beside the nice people the hotel is really nice too! The view is amazing and the bed was really comfy. Everything was nice and clean.

Everything was perfect. Next time we would stay longer.
