A cosy haven :)

This cute little Homestay was perfect and felt like a fairy land. Desire raining a lot while we were there it felt so beautiful. The couple who own it were amazing and attentive. They helped us not only organise a last minute hike up Mount Ugung, they helped with scooter and also got us to the port on time. The breakfast was lovely and just great atmosphere. Would highly recommend - amazing family.

For the price - it includes breakfast I thought we received a very good value.

I loved the location - in the middle of the village so I felt I am experiencing the "real" Bali. It was very quiet and the staff was super friendly. Very close to beautiful hiking paths.

I would add at least one piece of furniture and maybe a small desk to put the clothes away.

The perfect little stay in Sidemen

Everything about this place was exceptional, you can trust the reviews, it is definitely not too good to be true, it is actually this great 🥰 Spacious room with desk and an open shower which is amazing because this way you DON’T have the unpleasant smell that unfortunately many places in humid places like Bali have. We were so happy about this! 🙏🏼 The breakfast was tasty and beautifully presented, the little balcony is super nice if you wanna chill a bit, which you probably do in Sidemen 😌 Many nice warungs around for food 👌🏽 Amazing value, we were quiet sad to learn that they were fully booked so we couldn’t extend our stay here 🥲 Would return any time!

Nice homestay only 2 rooms.Staff very helpful.Owner organised motorbikes and taxi to Ubud.Sidemen itself is quiet lots of Warungs around.Some with amazing views.

We hired motorbikes the main rd is so busy with trucks.We tried to find the waterfall to no avail.Turn left to head to Nana's pool its there you find the ricepaddies and hardly any traffic.You can eat at Nana's very cheaply and have a dip in the infinitely pool for free.Didnt like the dogs up the lane way to Pondok Indah.

Great value for money at this welcoming and cozy Homestay. The host, Yoko, is so kind and helpful. Even though he seems quite busy he always put time aside to help us out. We got to book tours such as climbing Mt. Agung and trekking in the rice fields which Sidemen is all surrounded of! The room and bathroom is perfectly clean. I forgot my glasses at our previous stay in Padang Bai, but Yoko was willing to drive us to pick them up and then drive us to Sukowati right after. Such good service and kind people. When Yoko is out doing whatever stuff he has a very helpful daughter who takes care of the Homestay. Breakfast was very tasty with various types of pancake. But if you are out looking for some protein, this would be the only downside of our stay. But you can’t really complain about a tasty breakfast when it’s included;)

hosts are very devoted to make you feel comfortable! They are kind and helpful. Our Bed broke late in the evening and they came right away to fix it. amazing service. Also the breakfast is very good.

Comfortable Rooms in Rural Location

We loved our rooms, which were modern and clean, with a beautiful bathroom at the back. The bathroom was definitely the best one we have experienced during our 2 week stay in Bali! Yoko, the owner, was helpful and attentive, and offered us a choice between an English or Balinese breakfat. The Balinese breakfast was delicious! The 2 rooms were located in a small building in the garden, and we enjoyed the family environment, and learning more about Balinese culture.

Pondok Indah is tucked away, and a little difficult to find, so a few. more signs wld be helpful.

Brilliant all round, will come again as much as we can.

Breakfast was prepared by the host everyday, delicious homemade balinese pancakes with tea or coffee as well, delivered with a smile as soon as we got up. Host was incredibly helpful with everything, organised rafting, treks up Batur/ Agung (which he guided himself), rented us a scooter and even gave us a lift all the way to Canggu for a very good price. His wife also owns a lovely little warung just down the road which we ate at multiple times because it was so good. Room was immaculate and bed was comfy, loved the bathroom and their garden was really beautiful, plus the surrounding countryside is just one postcard view after another. He also called a massuese for us after our hike up Agung (he said she was an old friend) who came and gave us massages right in our room for a great price. 100% would recommend to anyone wanting a little getaway from the more busy areas but still in the mood for some activities.

Everything! The owner and his family are super nice! they do everything to be comfortable. Like he said « my guest are my family ». He showed us the temple of his family and explained us lot of things about his country. The room is new. The bathroom very clean.

Yoko and his family are very nice people. They made me feel like home. I felt safe and comfortable. Very good bed and nice pillows. Everything very clean (towels, sheets, bathroom etc). Yoko also organizes activities and transport. Good value for money.

Wer Ruhe ind Kultur sucht ist hier genau richtig

Es ist sehr friedlich und ruhig dort. Man hört naturgeräusche wie fließendes wasser und vögel. Die Familie ist seeehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie haben mir bei jedem anliegen geholfen und da der Vater ein Taxi unternehmen hat konnte er mir sogar meinen Weitertransport organisieren. Ich würde immer wieder kommen und es jedem weiterempfehlen.

Loin du centre si on n’est pas motorisé. Heureusement il y a un excellent warung à deux pas. La salle de bain manque d’équipement pour poser ses affaires, surtout avec un petit lavabo posé de guingois. Petit déjeuner léger. Prévoyez les bouchons d’oreilles pour les chiens qui aboient la nuit.

La disponibilità incredibile di Yoko, il gestore, per aiutarmi in ogni dettaglio del mio viaggio e suggerirmi delle attività da fare nei giorni di permanenza a Sidemen. Anche Dwi, il figlio, è stato gentilissimo con me ed è stato sempre lresentetper qualsiasi mio bisogno. La colazione è deliziosa, la stanza è pulita, il giardino interno è bello e curato ed è bello trascorrerci del tempo di riposo. Vicino alla Pondok Indah Homestay ci sono ottimi ristoranti. Grazie di cuore Yoko, Dwi, gattini e famiglia! Spero di tornare da voi in un prossimo viaggio.

Ho pagato 4 notti, ma dopo la prima siamo andati via.

Rapporto qualità prezzo scadente. Siamo arrivati alle 21:00 avevamo bisogno di cenare ma il proprietario non ha espresso un minimo di disponibilità. Il soffitto del bagno era aperto ed essendoci pioggia scrosciante era tutto allagato. Non c’era modo di appendere un asciugamano e mancavano le prese di corrente in bagno.

L'endroit est sympas mais trop de chats et d'animaux. Il faut monter une petite allée où plusieurs animaux se baladent (coq chiens chats...). L'endroit est perdu, il y a seulement 2 restaurants et la propreté est negligée... nous ne sommes pas restés. Il n'y avait pas d'eau chaude, la salle de bain est ouverte, pareil la chambre il y a des trous où les animaux lezards peuvent rentrés. Malheureusement il n'y avait pas d'eau et apparemment ça faisait plusieurs jours. Nous sommes donc partis sans faire une nuit. Les prix pour les taxis seulement pour 1 activité de riziere etait beaucoup trop cher. L'endroit n'était pas très acuueillant et troo excentree pour nous

Ontzettend vriendelijke gastheer die niets teveel was. We zaten in een kamer, midden in een prachtige tuin. Van hieruit is alles te lopen en op een brommer kun je veel mooie tochten maken.
