Best resort in the region

We had a great time at Devani Resort. The resort is small but has everything you need. The centre of Sidemen is 1 km away and has a variety of restaurants. The resort provides a good breakfast with Continental, American and Indonesian dishes. For lunch or diner there is a menu with options for everybody. Price/quality of the food is good. My favorites were the lumpias and gegodoh. In the spa you can relax with a facial, scrub or massage, all priced reasonable. The greatest asset of the resort however is the staff. In the restaurant Juni, Gede and all the other people working in service and kitchen were very kind, friendly and gave us a warm welcome. After we had an accident with the scooter the frontdeskstaff (Adit, Dewi and Ugi) was extremely helpfull and compassionate, more than we could wish for. We highly recommend this resort and would love to come again some day.

Peaceful

The location was stunning. Beautiful cottages. Comfortable beds.

We were in a family room However, the main bedroom and the kids rooms were completely separate. You could only access the bedrooms by going outside. I didn’t feel comfortable to have my son by himself in a totally different room so i was able to sleep With him and my husband in the main bedroom. We were able to make Thai work however if you had smaller kids this family room wouldn’t be ideal. The quality of the food at that restaurant was a bit average, our breakfast every morning eggs, pancakes, bread was all extremely dry. I would recommend eating out, there are a number of great restaurants near by.

Excellent!

I recently stayed at this hotel and everything was overall great. The service was smooth, the staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was very comfortable. I also want to mention that two girls from the reception Ade and Dewi helped us a lot during our stay especially when we had a last-minute issue. They handled it quickly and professionally, which we really appreciated.

Incredible stay with a stunning view

So many great things to like about Devani, including the privacy of each room each being its own villa, the cleanliness of the rooms and overall resort, beautiful view from the restaurant/ pool / rooms, the bike hire service and the very friendly and hard-working staff. Breakfast each morning was delicious and very filling, which was just an added bonus.

The doors to the village were slightly hard to open and close which is challenging with a baby / toddler.

My stay at the Devani Resirt was magnificent!

The setting of the hotel was magnificent. The views from the restaurant and infinity pool made you instantly feel relaxed. All the staff were very lovely and friendly.

My only fault would be not having a small fridge in the room to keep drinks cold.

Real Bali, perfect location and hotel

Everything about Sidemen is beautiful. And Devani resort fits in and complements the area perfectly. I received such a warm welcome from Dewi along with a small blessing and a delicious healthy welcome drink while admiring the view from the restaurant. The room was perfect size, very comfortable bed and all the amenities you could need. Including ear plugs in case the local frogs or gecko might be signing to you at night 😊But this is real Bali. I almost miss the frogs now 🐸

Brand New in a Jungle Setting

Brand new hotel! Very lovely, friendly staff. Beautiful jungle setting. The rooms are wooden houses and overlooked the rice paddies. The house staff were amazing, even collecting up our towels etc and pegging them outside on a drying rack for us! They also came to turn down our beds in the evening. Very good service. Lovely swimming pool with wonderful vista. I require a gluten free diet and they understood what it entailed and were very careful with my food, which I very much appreciated.

Total absence of phonic isolation between the rooms! Even if the staff kindly offered to change rooms for the last night, it remains a big problem if you wish to rest and have privacy. The staff is very kind but seems to be trained to repeat already made sentences in an unnatural over pleasant way. Waiting time to get breakfast

Beautiful location! Hotel was of high quality using local materials and traditional design. Staff were friendly and helpful. Evening meal was delicious! Easy to walk to restaurants and shops. Will definitely return.

We had an inter-connecting family room which was perfect for us. The adjoining walls were thin so I would recommend asking for a detached room if travelling without family.

A Peaceful Escape at Devani Resort Sidemen

Staying at Devani Resort Sidemen was a truly relaxing experience. Nestled among lush rice fields, the resort feels like a hidden sanctuary, far removed from the noise of everyday life. We arrived the day after their grand opening and were welcomed with genuine warmth by the incredibly kind and attentive staff. Our family bungalow had separate rooms, each with its own entrance, connected by a shared terrace. The view from the terrace was stunning—peaceful and beautifully serene. We spent two nights there, and even though it rained, the atmosphere remained magical, with mist rolling over the hills and the soothing sounds of nature all around us. The food was fresh and flavorful, and every meal felt thoughtfully prepared with care. One of the highlights of our stay was creating our own Balinese offering. We learned the meaning behind each petal and color, which made the experience even more special. We also recommend visiting their neighbor, Caturasa Silver Workshop—a wonderful activity we thoroughly enjoyed. On our departure day, we had to leave very early. When our driver didn’t show up as planned, the staff quickly stepped in and arranged transportation to Padang Bai, ensuring we didn’t miss our ferry. We highly recommend Devani Resort if you're looking for a place to reconnect with nature and find peace.

The bungalow was new, clean and exactly as shown on the photos on the website. All staff were super friendly and attentive. The restaurant has amazing views over the rice terraces of sidemen. It is a short walk to the main street with various restaurants and warungs. Overall, the Devani resort definitely exceeded our expectations.

It’s good, just bring ear plugs

It was a clean room. We only stayed there one night. Nice pool area.

The only thing I didn’t like that it was poorly soundproofed in our room. I heard everything from the neighbor room. Her walking, her talking.. everything. So I could not sleep properly. Just be aware of that and bring ear plugs for the night and you should be fine.

Un petit havre de paix à Bali au milieu des rizières et de la jungle. Avec des prestations de très bonne qualité. L’accueil y est plein d’attention personnalisée. J’y ai retrouvé un Bali authentique avec un souci de l’impact sur l’environnement. Oiseaux, papillons et libellules en journée, lucioles en soirée en sont à l’image. Vraiment je recommande !

Alles war auf Ruhe und Entspannung abgestimmt. Das Zimmer mit Balkon im Holzhaus war toll, der Blick in die Natur einfach nur schön. Der Pool ist sehr schön angelegt, das Restaurant bietet eine gute Auswahl, das Frühstück ist sehr lecker. Das Spa Angebot ist zwar etwas teurer, aber die Behandlungen sind absolut professionell und wirklich sehr gut. Alle Mitarbeiter.innen sind sehr nett und super bemüht.

Le personnel était sympathique

J’ai passé un agréable moment mais honnêtement très déçu. Les services sont hors de prix pour Bali au sein de l’hôtel pour un service pas à la hauteur notamment concernant la nourriture que j’ai trouvé sans saveur. Les massages agréable mais le double du prix habituel à Bali. J’ai réservé ce logement notamment pour la terrasse que je trouvais très jolie en photo malheureusement en réalité seulement très peu de terrasse de l’hôtel y ressemble. Pour notre part elle n’était pas du tout en hauteur supplément collé à au terrain d’à côté donc beaucoup de personne passé devant et avait une vue direct sur nous dans notre lit donc obligé de fermer les rideaux même la journée.

Wundervolles kleines Hotel, leider schlechte Schalldämmung.

Sehr schönes kleines Hotel in ruhiger Lage. Restaurants zu Fuß in 5-10 min erreichbar. Pool traumhaft, genau wie der Ausblick vom Pool und Restaurant. Frühstück war sehr lecker. Personal stets freundlich und aufmerksam. Innerhalb von 15 min wurde uns ein Roller für 5€ pro Tag organisiert. Zimmer nicht riesig groß, aber ausreichend.

Ein Bungalow besteht immer aus 2 benachbarten Zimmern. Leider ist Schallschutz gleich null. Man hört sogar, wenn die Nachbarn normal reden. Preise im Hotel selber für Essen und Getränke leider recht hoch. Definitiv außerhalb essen.

Chambre petite ! Pas équipée pour le standing de annoncé ! Cloison entre les chambres très fines nous entendons tout ce que font les voisins… Petit déjeuner très très simple et peu copieux on a du recommander à la carte d’autres choses Très cher pour ce que c’est !! Il y’a bien mieux juste à côté
