Great location, great views, nice villa, comfy beds, nice living room, good bathroom, great staff and breakfast.
It was rainy season and we had lots of moths, geckos and even a rodent visit us. It was the season and location rather than the place though.

What a hidden gem. So quiet, private a lovely place to relax. Many many warungs near by. Switch off with a great book and sleep the days away. Staff are amazing and very helpful

The accommodation is unique and we really enjoyed our stay here. Sideman is a very very quiet area, but the location was great to be able to walk to a few warungs, cafes and some lovely silver making workshops. The owner arranged for a local guide to take us on a walk through the rice paddies and helped arrange our onward travel.
Nothing really, it’s a very basic homestay, but has everything you need

So motorbike noise from the road.

The staff were absolutely lovely and super helpful. The accommodation was way bigger than what we expected and the little pool was so refreshing after a hot day of walking around.
It's quite noisy with traffic, till around 10pm. The hosts are aware of this and supply ear plugs which were a great amenity.

Beautiful location, very calm area. Staff was very helpful and nice. The breakfast included was also very tasty.
There are no grab/gojek available in the area, so booking taxis is a bit complicated.

This was like a suite for the price of a hotel room. The room is nicely decorated, clean and has two balconies, from where to view the surrounding scenery. Amazing views, both north and south. Convenient location with nice restaurants nearby. Very helpful and friendly staff, plus the best coffee! Excellent value for money.
As the house is located by a small road there is naturally some traffic. However it is not a main road and there are even earplugs for the guests, should you not have brought any with you.

Just perfect, the room was huge, very clean with hot water. They offered me a really good tea when I arrived and breakfast was really good with food choice for coffee and tea. The view was stunning. You can also rent a bike for a good price.
I will come back for sure!

Lovely staff, spacious, great restaurants near by, very accomodating for gluten free breakfast for my daughter
Couldn’t see the views from our villa, only from the pool on a clear day.

If you're looking to reconnect with nature, Amrita is a great choice. The serene surroundings and beautiful view of Mt. Agung create a peaceful atmosphere. The small pool was a hit with my kids—it felt like our own private retreat. Breakfast was simple but satisfying, and the in-room Balinese massage was a highlight of our stay. A special shoutout to the staff, especially Manager Komang, who went above and beyond by personally dropping me off and picking me up from my yoga class. Truly appreciated the warm hospitality. One charming surprise was their friendly guard dog, who added a warm and welcoming touch to our stay.

Amazing view!!! Definitely must to stay in the upstairs room, it was fantastic to have all the view of nature and Mt Agung just in front of you :)
I never get used to bathroom/shower structure in Bali - even with the shower curtain closed, water will wet almost the entire floor of the bathroom and also under the sink. But it's not only Amrita and it's something very minor!

Lovely light filled apartment provided with every comfort. I was overjoyed to find a fridge as well as the kettle & the large water dispenser. I loved all the windows & the 2 balconies with different views of nature. Charming hosts. It's close to lots of local Warungs, walking distance to the rice fields & the local markets which are worth a visit - go early. All the outlooks & the garden are so pretty!
Nothing I didn't like.

We loved staying at Amrita. The king room was beautiful and has amazing views. The owners where lovely and the rooms where clean. The breakfast was fresh and delicious and they make beautiful herbal teas. The pool and garden where also beautiful and lovely to relax in. We only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you 😊

I booked the king room on the top floor with a view for the mountain.
Pool is nice.
Staff is extremely friendly.
Breakfast is very good, nutritive, fresh fruits.
Room is cozy, clean, with all the necessary amenities.
However, if you don’t want to sleep with little geckos 🦎 on the walls of your room, living room and bathroom, do not book this.
I Have fobia of reptiles. I know I’m in Indonesia so I just try to avoid them. Outside in the street I know it is hard, but inside is the bare minimum I try to avoid.
There is a fake ceiling in this apartment and it is not well connected with the walls. There were many little lizards everywhere, behind the mirror, on the AC, and many many came from the ceiling. Even on the room window. Safe to say it was a very traumatic experience for me because of this. I don’t even have the words. It didn’t feel sanitary at all to be there. It could be the perfect accommodation if it weren’t for this.

We spend a lovely night here. The room is like a little apartment and the owners are nice and friendly. The place was very clean and comfy. If we could we would’ve extended our stay for sure.

The room is very spacious, has its own bathroom and a little terrace overlooking the pool. The view out the back is very nice, and on a clear day would have stunning views of the volcano (sadly it rained a lot when we were there). It is in a great location, in easy walking distance of loads of restaurants and the town has some great workshops too, doing weaving and silver jewellery-making. Komang and the ladies working in the cafe downstairs were very kind and helpful. Komang organised a driver for us for a day (his brother, who was also lovely) to take us to some of the temples around the east of the island, and even booked rafting for us after we had left and moved to a different location. There is also a lovely dog who hangs around which is a bonus if you’re a dog lover like us :) Would recommend staying here to meet some very kind local people who will help you make the most of your time in Sidemen!

The contact, Komang organized a car to meet me at the airport and organized transport while I stayed there. The two woman who ran the hotel were attentive, kind and helpful. The rice walking tour was fantastic because Komang2 , catered for some of my issues and found wider paths and was always there to lend a hand. The
herbal teas were a great addition to my stay. I love the view, the garden and the pool.

There were lots of steps which felt dangerous in the wet.

The views from this properly are amazing! The pool is a great size and perfect for having a day to chill. The room itself is a good size and breakfast is tasty. The staff were lovely and so were the dogs :) p.s they make the best banana bread.
The bathroom area could be cleaner.

Great room, very spacious it is almost like an appartment. I received a very warm welcome from Komang and staff. The pool and garden are beautiful oasis and they serve good coffee, homegrown teas downstairs. Very close to delicious warung for food and there’s a shop next door too.
The noise from motorbikes starts early in the morning but they provide earplugs which helps. Otherwise it could use a mosquito net then I could leave windows open for ventilation. The air con is a bit weak for the big space.

This is my fourth visit. As a cyclist it is a great place as a base. For anyone else the location, pleasant Warungs to eat near by, scenery, trekking...the list could go on. I met guests in the ground level villa and they loved the views. I was upstairs and the views are also amazing. Also because there are two balconies the breeze flows through and I never used the air con. I love this place.
They can't control the clouds to the volcano. Most times views are beautiful and other time AMAZING

Stunning. Stayed in the two bed villa surrounded by nature. Views from the swimming pool priceless. The pool was amazing so warm. Top class coffee shops and restaurants few mins walk. Bali as it used to be would absolutely love to visit again. Massive bottle of vending water in the villa.

Perfect relaxing and calm stay. I felt like I was in old good Bali, like a few decades ago. The room I stayed had everything I needed, including AC, unlike my expectation. Ha-ha. The cappuccino at Amrita Cafe was very good. Highly recommend!

The view from the king room is incredible. The pool is lovely and the gardens are nice. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and the property’s dog is the cutest.
Kudek’s breakfast and organic freshly made lemongrass tea from their garden is muntap. ( delicious in Balinese).
I liked everything but a mini-bar in the king room would be awesome, and an iron would be good also.

Our stay at Amrita was a real succes. The view of mount Agung from our bedroom window and from the terrace, was stunning! On the other side of the building we enjoyed a wide view of green fields. The apartment / room was lovely and had everything we needed. Spacious with a comfortable bed and two terraces. A kettle, tea, a couch and a nice bathroom with warm water. The owners are lovely and helpful. They take such good care of their garden, their quiet cafe downstairs and the swimming pool. We really liked the small scale of their enterprise. Location is quiet. We rented one of their motorbikes and visited rice fields, waterfall and a few temples. We'd definitely go back if we were to visit Sidemen again!
We liked everything!

A very comfortable stay
No Mountain View from lower of the 2 villa’s. Area felt very closed in, considering we were on the edge of town

We stayed for 6 days with our 9 month old baby. The villa is perfect, loads of space for him to crawl safely, a nice little pool to take a dip and the most incredible views of mt. Agung from the cafe and pool (and balcony if you stay in the room above the cafe - we were in the villa below). The team looked after us so well and were fantastic with our young son. We also had a great treck in the ricefields with Nyoman - highly recommend. The villa is located next to many excellent restaurants, resorts and warungs all within easy walking distance. You can get a day pass to the nearby fancier resorts which is great if you want more of a swim. The road is quiet and calm which was great for getting out for short walks with our baby. We had such a relaxing time here after the hecticness of Ubud and could easily have stayed longer. Thank you!

I loved everything about my stay. From the coziness and cleanliness of the place, to the wonderful service and hospitality of the owners. There are lots of hotels around the area, but personally I do not think they do justice to Sidemen’s true charm.
If you wish for a more serene, quiet, authentic stay in Sidemen, look no further. Amrita villa is truly a hidden gem!
Special thanks to Nyoman and his wife for taking care of me and for treating me with such kindness!
I liked everything

We had the best time staying at Amrita! Nyoman and Kadek gave us a warm welcome with lovely flower tea and were both so lovely & accommodating. The room was to die for! Just so gorgeous & spacious with two balconies/terraces with fab views, air con, water fountain and a pool. Breakfast made by Kadek was lovely too - I’ve yet to come across a better fruit platter! Couldn’t recommend this place more 💖 Terima kasih 🙏🏻

The staff, the outdoor space. The cafe vibe, the complimentary walk in the rice fields was really nice.
Loved the pool and sundeck area
The noise, the room is literally on top of the road + there’s no shutters or black out curtains.
