Great choice for a ski trip in Kitzbühel

Staff was so kind and welcoming and provided a lot of helpful information. Breakfast was delicious and the location was only a few minutes walk from a shuttle that goes to the main base lift of the mountain. Would definitely love to come back!

Nice friendly staff, able to check in early but had no elevator so had to carry luggage up/down .

Superb fairy tale boutique hotel in the center of Kizbuhel

This charming quaint hotel is like from a fairy tale! Very close to the main Hahnenkamm ski lift, extremely clean, meticulously and beautifully decorated in the authentic local style. The owners and staff are super friendly, welcoming, always available and easy-to-communicate with. And the breakfasts are top notch - highest quality with clean local produce, dairy, honey (which can even be purchased in jars to take home with you). Perfect for any time of the year, but was especially festive during Christmas when we stayed, the owners provided Christmas Eve aperitif and opportunity for all the guests to cheer and mingle together, which was an extra unexpected bonus. Thank you very much, Barbara and the family!!!

Great accommodation in prime location, loved it

I had a fantastic stay, the hosts are exceptionally welcoming and helpful, the location is perfect: quiet but only 5 mins walk to the heart of town, my single bedroom was extremely clean and comfortable, very quiet even with the window open all night. Lovely modern bathroom with a great shower. You could have breakfast or your own meals in the sunshine in the little courtyard with view of the Hahnenkamm mountain. Perfect.

Loved my stay, the breakfast could perhaps be improved with some more fresh fruit or/and bacon. Coffee was great.

An excellent stay with the perfect room in a great location.

I spent three nights at Pension Schmidinger in mid-March 2023. I was in Kitzbuhel to snowboard, and the location was perfect. It was just a short 10-minute walk to the Hahnenkamm Gondola. I was able to park my car on site. I stayed in Room 1, a single room, meant for just one person. The room was perfect! There was a large closet to hang and store all my clothes and gear. There was also a safe in the closet. The bathroom was very clean and felt like it was newly remodeled, it was well-designed and modern. It had plenty of counter space, the shower had lots of pressure, and the hot water came quickly. The bed was comfortable, and the room was cleaned every day. They even had a backpack in the room you could use for your day in the mountains! The breakfast was simple but delicious; cold-cut meats, breads, cheeses, granola, yogurt, OJ, coffee, and teas. They will also prepare eggs for you in whatever way you wish! Barbara, the host, was very friendly and everyone liked chatting with her. I highly recommend this property and would stay there next time!

Fantastic property in the heart of Kitzbuhel! Ideal for skiers

Absolute lovely property in the heart of Kitzbuhel. Ideal for skiing as it is only a 5 minute walk from the Hannenkahnbahn and a 30 second walk to the bus stop that can take you to any of the other lifts in the region. The room was absolutely perfect and has everything we could need. The breakfast was really nice also and the staff were always super helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend!

Marvellous

First stayed here in 1988 and thought it would be nice to re-visit. The place is lovely...great room with all facilities, and a superb breakfast. It's just a short walk (2 minutes) from the main street and there's plenty of parking. It's also nice and quiet. There's even a lovely friendly golden retriever in the family.

The hosts were really professional, always available and gentle; also giving good suggestions for dinners and excursions. The position is extremely convinient to reach the center and the cable cars by walking. Breakfast excellent! Rooms comfortable and clean. Parking free at the Hotel. Definetely suggested!

Our stay was super nice! The staff is extremely friendly. We could check in couple of hours earlier and choose between two rooms. Balcony is really romantic! Beds are comfortable, linen and towels are soft. House is very clean and tidy. Surrounding is peaceful and beautiful…. mountains, flowers, cows with bells. So nice! Very good breakfast- fresh bread, good coffee, eggs prepared especially according to your order. Everything was perfect and with personal touch! Thanks a lot!

Can’t be better

The pension is 5 min walking from the downtown. The place was amazing, extremely clean, comfy, charmy and peaceful. I couldn’t have had a better stay. The breakfast is simply incredible, great coffee and plenty of different things For sure I know the place where to stay once in Kitz. 10 from 10 is not enough...
