Lovely stopover on the way to the mountains

Lovely guest house with excellent value for money, fantastic healthy and rich breakfast. The hostess, Gaby, is a warm and vibrant lady who is forthcoming and exceptionally helpful. The place has been around for 60 years though it has been renewed several times. It maintains an authentic Austrian feeling and well worth staying over.

Einmal und nie wieder. Leider.

Die Lage ist ok. Ruhig ist es auch. Parkplatz gut.

Mit Abstand die Gastgeberin! Wir buchten für 2 Erwachsene und 1 Kind - als wir nach 5h Autofahrt ankamen, fiel die Begrüßung sehr negativ aus. Als sie sah, dass wir ein Kind dabei hatten, entgegnete sie uns mit einer aggressiven Art, die wir so nicht kennen. Ihr Haus sei für Kinder nicht gemacht. Sie meinte zig mal, dass das nicht gehe und wir nicht mit Kind kommen könnten, da es diese Option bei booking.com nicht gibt (doch wir konnten zeigen, dass wir MIT Kind gebucht hatten). Sie wollte ständig Verständnis dafür haben und war durchweg sehr impulsiv. Die Stimmung kochte fast über, da wir für solch eine Art einer GastGEBERIN absolut kein Verständnis haben - auch nicht für solche Diskussionen vor einem 1,5 Jahre alten kind. Auf die Frage, was für ein Problem sie denn habe, konnte sie uns keine Antwort geben. Wir brauchten weder ein Babybett, noch isst die Kleine ein ganzes Brötchen. Sie hat einfach ein Problem mit Kindern. Wir waren froh, als die Tage dort vorbei waren. Zum Thema fabelhaftem Frühstück verstehen wir die Kommentare nicht. Du bekommst 2 normale Brötchen, 2 Scheiben Brot und 2 von ihr abgeschnittene Körnerbrötchen (es sah aus, als hätte man hier die Reste von anderen bekommen, man hat nur den Rand weggeschnitten). Sie macht dir eine Wurst- und Käseplatte mit 1 kleinen Tomate, 1 Scheibe gurke und an ganz guten Tagen noch ein kleines Paprikastückchen (auch bereits vorgeschnitten). Selbst bedienen kann man sich an der Marmelade, Nutella, Müsli ( gibt aber nur 2 zur Auswahl), dazu Joghurt oder Milch. Es stand keine Alternative zur Milch da. Ebenfalls gab es Orangensaft und Wasser, sowie Früchtejoghurt in Bechern. Die Zimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen, aber noch ok.

The land lady is very chatty and kind. Breakfast was yum. Best option for spring skiing is to get a ski locker at inter sport in the hahnenkamm bahn for €12 per day for 2 people.

Not everyone spoke English, making it tricky to communicate sometimes. Offering shower gel and shampoo (something simple/combined/small, doesn't have to be fancy) would have been nice. The location is about 15 minutes walking from the center and central lift, making it peaceful and quiet, but at the same time not super convenient for going back and forth.

Worth every penny!

The Guesthouse is very cozy and clean to another level. As a single traveler I enjoyed it much more than staying in a hotel because it made me feel at home. The staff is incredible and super warm, welcoming & helpful! An amazing and fresh breakfast is served personally by the owners accompanied by a smile and help for any question you may have. Free parking available as well but it may be good to inform the owners prior arrival so others cars can be arranged properly. There is a 10-12min walk to the Hahnenkammbahn which was the main lift I took and a 5-7 min walk to Hornbahn (a smaller ski area). However, I loved walking before starting my day, it's a small warm up. Cleanliness, location, and service definitely exceed my expectations compared to the price I payed for 6 nights! No question I will stay here again next time I'm in Kitzbuhel!!

Perfect stay in Kitzbuhl. Property is located just out of the main center but a short walk to all the shopping and restaurants. Lovely views from the bedroom. Ample space and good breakfast options. Ski storage onsite and a room with boot warmer. Highly recommended.

The pansion is in very quiet place, 10 minutes walk from center. The room was clean with some nice details. The breakfast was good, wonderfully served, homy atmoshere.

Be attentive with check-in, inform the host in advance about your check-in time. There is no number for whatsapp message - it was inconvenient with my check-in.

Cozy place and very nice host

The host Gabriella is a very nice and helpful lady. The room is not very big but very neat and clean and has all the necessary amenities which for me was all I need. The view of the mountain from the room was beautiful. The breakfast area is cozy and Gabriella serves you a good and healthy breakfast so you can start your skiing day effectively Great value for money especially for solo travelers

The location of the guest house is 10 minutes walk from the center but it's ok since you will be walking a lot in this beautiful village

Cozy stay next to the heart of Kitzbühel

Very cozy bed and breakfast, with a particularly friendly, precise, polite and helpful hostess. The room is warm and gives the mountain vibes. It is also reasonably priced.

It is quite a walk with skis and boots to the lift, so if you rent, better rent from the city center. The breakfast is also quite limited in choice.

Staying at the hotel met expectations

The accomodation fulfills expectations. Location is quiet not far from the centrum. The landlord lady was very pleasant. The room was clean. No problems with parking. We did not use wify. Very good ratio price/quality.

The breakfast was very simple and price 7 EUR seemed to me a bit high.
