Averon Guesthouse was a great experience for me in Edinburgh. The buildging is carefully kept with everything you need for a comfortable stay. His owner delights his guests with Scottish music and singing in the evenings, which made my stay even more pleasant. I absolutely recommed it!
There was nothing I didn´t like. I would have liked to stay longer!

Averon guest house is in a superb location for some of the best parts of Edinburgh, Bruntsfield and Morningside in particular, which have excellent cafes, shops, pubs and restaurants within a short walking distance, as well as superb public transport links including buses from just outside on Gilmore Place The room was small but cosy with a very good en-suite. Breakfast was limited but adequate.

We loved the continental breakfast. The dining room was beautiful. The man who owns the place and does the music in the evening is very nice and earnest.
The wifi was a little spotty in certain areas.

Nothing
Knocking on the door from room service saying to close the window. Breakfast very basic with stale cakes. No cooked breakfast , should be cooked for that price...
