Disappointed, saved by the small local restaurant run by a Turkish family .

Attractive Logis hotel, appeared to have just won a gastronomic prize.!

We were told , after booking in the Hôtel restaurant was shut ! No service tonight. We asked for a. Taxi to take us elsewhere, apparently none could be booked. As we were on motorcycles we had to head out looking for dinner,( Hôtel advice was to go a town 10 km away. Less than 500 m away we spotted a pizza takeout joint with a French restaurant menu called Couronne de Matzenheim .We had a fantastic, and unforgettable meal . Nothing fancy but good local cookery. On our return to the Hotel Charrue we found the restaurant full of people enjoying a great dinner. We confronted the manager who said there had been a translation error…. Very disappointed……no excuses…

No dinner was available, in spite of the restaurant being open. The explanation was because I hadn't booked.

Beautiful, dog friendly Hotel in Alsace

Very pretty Hotel perfectly located to explore Alsace. The staff was friendly (Muriel exceptionally so!) We felt very warmly welcomed. Our dog was also welcome and treated very friendly. She could join us in the breakfast hall, and even though we didn't eat in the restaurant it seems like dogs are allowed there as well. The rooms are very spacious and ours had an Aircon which was a life saver during the heat. The bed was huge and also very comfortable. We had a great stay and would come back to stay at La Charrue again.

Cozy and very good place to spend the night

Half an hour drive from Europa-Park. Cozy and clean rooms, friendly staff and good breakfast. The hotel in itself is also very nice with a nice terrace and the breakfast room was all in wood typical of the Alsace, very nice. All in all a very good place to spend the night.

Solid Hotel in the vicinity of Europe Park

The space of the room was very good. The bed was comfortable. The shower was spacious.

The diner was to expensive. The construction of the toilet was to narrow. And the room is not soundproof.

Room with no air conditioning. The boss told us it will be the case next year. Restaurant was good but please with so good dishes, go for natural French fries and not those frozen things they serve in fast food!

Wonderful family run hotel

The dinner was superb. Simple good menu. The staff exceptionally friendly and welcoming and breakfast was excellent. The chef was able to produce GF & lactose free options for me. I have stayed here on numerous occasions and highly recommend this hotel as a wonderful stopover between Switzerland & UK!

Superb

Nice and clean hotel. Room was spacious and bathroom was great. The owners were very kind and we had a great dinner in their restaurant. Breakfast was good. Ideal stopover along the A35 with private parking. Would definitely recommend to stay here!

Comfortable bed, great restaurant food, great hotel overall, lovely staff and gorgeous traditional panelled breakfast room.

The bedroom was clean but the decor (and in particular the carpet) was dingy, and there was no shampoo.

A Taste of Alsace

The courtyard and outdoor restaurant was really nice and especially the breakfast and the room all wooden made. Really peacefull and attractive location. Excellent cuisine with a good variety of wines and meat

The bell of the church ringing every hour also during the night. Maybe the stay was a little bit too expensive considering the location situated in a countryside village

Déjeuner correcte, il y avait de tout, j'avais demandé un petit dejeuner sans gluten pour mon mari, il n'y a aucun problème, ambiance calme, chambre très propre

Les personnes qui se garent sous les fenêtres est qui font tourner leurs moteurs pendant un certains temps, mais cela n'est pas du ressort de l'hôtel

Hôtel très classe. Restaurant haut de gamme.

Hotel très calme. Prévoir réveil pour votre... réveil , sinon vous dormirez plus longtemps que prévu. La chambre est très belle et la literie en parfait état. Place de Park à env 50 m de l'hôtel. Concernant le restaurant, si vous arrivez d'EuropaPark où le midi vous avez manger un Hamburger gras et degoulinant de sauces tomate, cela risque de vous faire un choc. Le restaurant est un restaurant haut de gamme, avec serveurS, à votre service. Si vous n'y etes pas habitué, cela surprend et peut gêner. Mais les plats sont vraiment excellents.

Schönes Hotel Historisch elegant

Die Unterkunft hat unserer Erwartung voll und ganz entsprochen. Wir waren ja zum zweiten mal da. Ich würde da jederzeit wieder hin fahren. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist hervorragend und mit regionalen Produkten ausgestattet.

Leider war der Parkplatz bereits voll und wir mussten im Quartier parkieren. Am Morgen war dann Flohmarkt im Ort und das rausfahren stellte uns vor Herausforderungen.

Très bon séjour et personnel disponible et souriant.

Personnel très accueillant, hôtel très charmant et le restaurant est super bon. Le sommelier est de très bon conseil. La literie est très confortable.

Légèrement bruyant (bâtisse ancienne ce qui en fait son charme mais pas forcément bien isolé du bruit).

Ruhiges Hotel mit erstklassiger Küche!

Schönes ruhiges Hotel. Wir waren nur zur Durchreise. Das Restaurant ist toll. Wenn man die gehobene französische Küche mag und auch bezahlen möchte, ist es ein Genuss und auf jeden Fall sein Geld wert! Für alle anderen gibt es in den umliegenden Orten auch günstigere Restaurants, aber das Restaurant la Charrue ist sehr zu empfehlen!

Je reviendrai pour un faire au restaurant

Les chambres sont superbes, très joliment décorées. Je n'ai pas pris mon dîner et mon déjeuner Mais la salle de restaurant est très classe. Je recommande cet hôtel , je le garde sur ma liste de coup de cœur. Le personnel est à l'écoute des clients.
