A very good hotel: clean, comfortable and beautifully located. Even though our room did not have a direct lake view — apart from a small glimpse that we only discovered on the second day — the view from the fourth floor was still delightful. The surrounding mountains and the hills covered with olive groves created a beautiful and uplifting landscape. The rooftop terrace, where breakfast is served, is absolutely stunning. Surrounded by mountains, bathed in the morning sun and overlooking the infinity pool, it created an unforgettable setting. The breakfast itself was exceptional, with high-quality products and a level of care that made it one of the best breakfast experiences I have ever had. The dining experience was equally remarkable. The refined dinners prepared by the chefs were outstanding and genuinely memorable. Having stayed in many hotels and travelled extensively, I can honestly say that the quality, creativity and presentation of the food here were on another level. It was one of the finest gourmet experiences I have had during any hotel stay. Overall, Kristal Palace combines comfort, beautiful surroundings, excellent facilities and truly exceptional cuisine in a way that makes the stay feel genuinely special.

The corridors and the lift were quite warm, which was a little uncomfortable. I also found some of the information and additional facilities rather complicated to access. For example, the tourist card had to be activated online through an app that proved too difficult to install, so in the end I gave up using it. That said, the hotel staff were extremely helpful: they arranged complimentary transport for us to a wine tasting and also assisted us with parking. Excellent service and genuinely appreciated.

Beautiful hotel with very helpful staff.

We payed for an ‘Adults Only’ hotel as advertised on Booking.com yet this wasn’t the case with children splashing about the pool each day. Very disappointing when the decision we made to stay here over other hotels was the ‘adults only’ tag.
