Velòra

From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcome. What makes Velòra truly special is the wonderful, friendly and personal approach of the owners. They are incredibly kind, helpful and attentive, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel more like a guest of the family than simply a hotel customer. The hotel is very well maintained, clean and comfortable, and its location is excellent – just a short walk from Lake Garda and within easy reach of the centre of Riva del Garda. Another major advantage is the parking. Everything is perfectly organised and each room has its own designated parking space, so there is no need to worry about finding somewhere to leave the car. The breakfast deserves a special mention – it is excellent, with a very generous and varied selection of fresh, high-quality food. There is something for everyone and it is a perfect way to start the day. Overall, Velòra exceeded our expectations. It combines a great location, excellent facilities and breakfast with something that is much harder to find – genuinely warm hospitality and owners who clearly care about their guests. We would happily give it more than 10/10 and would definitely choose Velòra again on our next visit to Riva del Garda. Highly recommended!

Great location on edge of town with parking and a lovely outdoor (chilly!) pool. Fabulous ‘beach’ on shore of Lake Garda only 1 min walk away. Restaurants and shops nearby and only a 15min scenic coastal walk to the old town. Modern and clean, bright and airy feel. We arrived before check in time (2pm) but were able to leave the car and have use of the pool before the friendly staff sorted our check in.

It was a lovely well kept hotel. Very clean and tidy.

The only issue we had was we couldn’t plug the kettle in for some reason

Proximity to the beach

We booked a penthouse apartment but the apartment was opposite the hotel and under construction so was not inviting. The bathroom and Kitchen are in need of an upgrade.
