Lovely, well located hotel with friendly staff

As a family group of 10 we all loved the fact that the hotel is really centrally located but is a quiet square, we loved ambience of the lovely restaurant and outside terrace. The staff were really warm and friendly and were really helpful in booking taxi's and making recommendations. The rooms were spotlessly clean, well equipped and the space had been thoughtfully used. We really enjoyed the breakfast which was a choice of Breton specialities with lovely croissants and wide selection of jams, juices and breads etc. The lunch time and early evening menu is delicious and we enjoyed meeting as a family for pre-dinner drinks and nibbles before heading off to dinner. We were not disturbed by any noise from the streets as the hotel is in a quiet square, backing onto a silent courtyard. We will definitely stay again when we next visit St. Malo.

Good central location

Room was too small, and incredibly hot making it very hard to sleep. We opened the windows as well. The noise from other rooms was terrible. We could literally hear a man coughing and passing wind. Also the lift is for luggage only so if you have mobility issues you will struggle as there are many stairs.We normally stay at another hotel but that was unavailable on the dates we wanted. We booked this based on good reviews but unfortunately it did not work out for us. Good luck to the owners and staff as this hotel is for many people, just not for us on this occasion.
