A lovely place to stay

Lovely, friendly staff! A warm welcome - offered some local cider on arrival after our long drive, before going up to the room. A nice touch. Room spotlessly clean. Such a comfortable bed, and 2 great nights sleep with blackout curtains. Powerful shower! Really like the quieter location, and being able to get some steps in, walking to and back from the remparts alongside the water. Great to have parking right by the hotel. Only 4 euros a day, using the Pay By Phone app. Enjoyed our chat with Beatrice at reception whilst she made us a delicious coffee in the morning. Thank you so much.

We would have liked some tea/ coffee-making facilities in the room. I know it's a very British quirky peculiarity that we like to have when we're staying away somewhere, but there it is... An additional 2 or 3 wall hooks to hang up clothes for a 2 nights stay would be useful - and easy to remedy. A light by the wall mirror would be helpful 😁 These aren't deal breakers, but would just make the stay perfect.

Great welcome at this homely spot in St Malo.

A very friendly and professional welcome from the largely English speaking team here. Rooms are not huge but are clean and comfortable and there’s a lift to all floors. Many rooms overlook the inner harbour. There’s a wide choice of bars and restaurants nearby including their own Japanese bistro. Or take a short walk into the walled town of St Malo for shops bars and many more restaurants. Breakfast is also very good. There’s plenty of parking nearby and it’s just a few minutes drive to the ferry.

Friendly hotel with pleasant rooms and outstanding breakfast.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. While the room was a little small and had very limited storage, the arrival welcome and breakfast made up for these minor points. We were greeted by a warm and friendly welcome, which included an offering of a glass of cider, which we greatly appreciated. The breakfast at this hotel was outstanding. It offered a wide selection of teas, delicious breads, pastries spreads, cakes and cheeses. Highlights included the local butter, yoghurt, salted caramel spread and cider-soaked prunes.

The room was small. Parking was difficult, but admittedly we arrived during the summer holidays.

Nothing special but gives you a nice stay

Centrally located, very close to the beaches, 20min walking from the old town, which is the highlight of this hotel. Modern decoration in the lobby, it has its own restaurant. Nice amenities, the bedroom was very standard, suitable for one night.

The only remark I have is that the room could use an air conditioning, it was very warm. The host provided us a fan, which helped a lot, but we couldn’t put it to swing as it was very noisy.

Breakfast was excellent. Great location near beach and walkable to old town. Parking in municipal lot next to hotel was available and very inexpensive.

No electrical outlet in bathroom and no drinking glasses in room. Small things in our mind but should be mentioned.

Wonderful!

Wonderful location for walled city and the beach. Really easy to find and parking outside that was cheap and accommodated ourVW camper with bike rack on tow hitch. Lovely small hotel, well appointed clean rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful - special mention to Alice! They even had a very secure garage for us to leave our bikes in over night at a reasonable extra cost. Lovely breakfast.

Very nice breakfast and location

The breakfast is a must try at this hotel with local flavors in a very pleasant space. We also liked a lot the location of the hotel.

The hotel's booking page says there is parking available. The available parking is public and it is for everyone so that is something that should be indicated since for us it was important to find a parking space. We had to park several minutes away from the hotel because the public space outside the hotel was full.

Not stress free !

warm. friendly staff .

No USB points in the room. no wardrobe, just four or five arty hangers suspended on wires from the ceiling which were noisy as they swung against the tall vertical radiator adjacent ! A long walk from any bars or restaurants and shops . Pay for municipal parking although not expensive. The direct route to the hotel was blocked at the walled town due to some massive festival taking up all of dockside parking and think I should have been warned of this .

Really nice boutique hotel.

Great hotel in a fantastic location about 10 min walk from Old Town and one street back from the sea front. Room was a little quirky but really good and very clean. Hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly and gave us great advice about the old town. We were getting ferry next day and the location is perfect about 10min from terminal in the car.

A perfect stopover in St Malo. Location perfect with plenty of nearby parking.

Very easy out of hours check in. Nice clean room. Great location for the ferry, the seafront and walking into town. Very friendly reception staff.

no tea or coffee making facilities, no fridge, no water in room, only a couple of paper cups in room, had to ask for glasses, lumpy pillows, all looked good but wet room not that practical. not such good value for money as other accommodations breakfast €12 not good value eg tinned fruit salad, no fresh fruit, poor selection of cereal and drinks. have had much better for less cost
