Well located and easy access. The hotel is cleam and the staff friendly. The breakfest is good if you chose to take it. The standard room is small might be crowded for 2 but ok for a short stay. In general its a nice plsce.walking distance to marina and intramuro.

I can’t say enough about the staff at IBIS Saint Malo! They were kind, caring, and very patient with me and my lack of ability to speak French. They were helpful in getting me around and to and from places such as Mont St. Michel and the train station. I would absolutely come back to this hotel and would stay at any IBIS based on how awesome and accommodating this one was! It is a true gem!!

Great hotel in a good position on the sea front. Room booked had a sea view which was lovely. Room very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Booked on-site parking space that was secure and convenient. Would stay here again.

A two-night stay with my wife for our wedding anniversary. We had 2 dogs which were accepted with no problem. Excellent staff, particularly at reception, who were all very friendly and helpful. Room on 3rd floor, accessible by lift or stairs. Buffet breakfast is good value compared to local cafe's, etc. On-site parking at rear of hotel should be booked in advance.

In general was only OK and probably we wont come back. Problems started with the check-in when I was presenting my Vax documents from 2 countries EU + French booster. In FR there is a huge issue of not recognizing the EU documents. Lady at the counter "wanted to scan" only and not even read the docs I have presented... Staff barely speaks English - more like - responding with finger pointing on the "things" I asked :). Room is super small, no fridge, no kettle, etc. Only glasses were in the room :). Breakfast was disappointing. NO vegetables at all. If you consider marmalade or a ketchup as a fruit and veges, then there were some!

Small room and the one with see view, it is on the street also, so it is a noisy when cars and people passing especially at night with no air-condition at the room. Breakfast area it is small. And some times it will be crowded at 9 o’clock and after. By the way, it is good for money and near to old city (7 min walking). There is public street parking around and in front of the hotel and there is also parking at the hotel which is limited number I think just for 15 cars only. So it should be booked in advance.

The hotel is still being refurbished but the location is fab. I paid extra for the sea view because it is spectacular but was not very happy with being charged €10 for a parking space too. That is a very high price, especially for a very small space. The staff are helpful and the hotel is clean and fresh. There is a great little family run Italian restaurant 2 doors away too.

It's a very nice 10 min walk between here and the St Malo walled city, alongside or on the beach. Amazing sunrise and sunset views. Hotel is clean and simple accommodation. I had a single room on this visit, which was small but well laid out and with a very good shower. Only issue was a lack of Aircon and it was warm in the room. A fan was provided though. Staff were very helpful and friendly. They made sure i was warned a few times about nearby building work starting at 8am (wasn't an issue for me). I like Saint-Malo and will use this hotel again.

The Hotel was about 10 mins walk from the walled city, with parking outside. The room was very compact but ok for 2 people, it was clean and obviously newly decorated. We struggled a little checking in as the receptionist didnt speak English very well but obviously this is a hotel in France so credit where credit is due. Idea if you want to be near the city and not have to park in the larger public parking. I do wonder if in the height of the season if parking outside the hotel would be a problem as the hotel did not have a designated area reserved for guests. Overall a nice clean Hotel in a good location.
