Nice getaway to the Cotswolds, great value for money in a superb part of the world.

Great location. Car park handy. Very nice staff. Restaurant and pub were great. Food, and the specials in particular, were outstanding.

Great breakfast, warm , clean and friendly atmosphere !

Location was great. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Rooms were clean and warm a little tired in places but were fine for our over night stay. Parking was great lovely cooked breakfast served with a smile.

Corridors to rooms need updating but the owners are aware of this and I’m sure in time the character of this lovely building will shine !

The pubs /hotel was beautiful, with a gorgeous open fire which was very cosy. The staff were really friendly. Our room was nice and clean and nicely decorated. Lovely little view of the canal down at the bottom of the field near the rooms. Great location in the centre of town.

Provided a good nights rest. Dinner and breakfast both first class.

Plenty of free parking. Possibly a bit difficult when climbing stairs to an excellent bedroom - I am using crutches. It was well worth the effort.

Only the stairs. This is not, in any way, a criticism of the hotel. Ground floor rooms were available but having stayed at the New Inn on several occasions previously I knew what I wanted.

Excellent position, safe private parking, comfortable room with good facilities, especially the walk in shower. Room in courtyard, so ground floor request was no problem. Breakfast excellent with lots of choice and really good service. Just a really relaxed and comfortable stay. I imagine that it is even better in summer with the outside space in the courtyard and the grassed area by the riverside.

Fantastic stay in the New Inn Hotel

We had such a super stay in the New Inn Hotel. It was a busy Saturday night but luckily there was a table available for dinner and the food was delicious. The beds were very comfortable and the bedroom and bathroom were immaculate. It was wonderful to stay in such a historic building and our room took some finding as there seemed to be many corridors and staircases. Might not suit someone with mobility issues but it added to the novelty for us. A very good breakfast in the morning.

We didn't book breakfast when we booked our room so we ended up paying for it separately. You pay for each menu item separately which made it more expensive than expected. Not a problem though if you book a room with breakfast included.

Great location, great room, great food and ample parking.

This was the third time we have stayed at the New Inn and the first time in one of the 'yard rooms'. Ample free parking with a bar and restaurant. Clean well appointed room with a very comfy bed and a quiet location. Ate in the restaurant again and the food was excellent. This is now our go-to hotel in this part of the country and we look forward to our next stay.

Duvet and little thin but a blanket in the wardrobe was available. Windows were open so room was chilly to start with. Popped heating on whilst we ate and it was much nicer on our return

A great location with a quiet atmosphere and a wonderful restaurant. A good value with the breakfast included. Staff was very helpful and provided two rooms attached via a private entrance so that my daughter was nearby.

Mostly excellent but the door on the bathroom would not close. May need some extra attention.

Nice location, just a shame: the room was a disappointment

The bathroom was very clean and had a good shower. Lots of tea and coffee provided. Stunning location. We didn't eat but the food looked good.

Avoid room 4, the room definitely needs a black out blind as the lights from outside keep you awake. Lots of carpet stains. The room was hot and the window could not be opened. The quilts were very hot for this time of year. Bedroom carpet definitely needs replacing.
