Great location and outstanding staff, with a couple of comfort upgrades needed

We really enjoyed our stay thanks to the excellent staff and unbeatable location. The morning sun was lovely and breakfast was top-notch

A couple of improvements would enhance comfort: the beds felt a bit hard and the carpeted floors seem outdated. Replacing the bedding and updating the flooring would elevate the experience even further

Unfortunately not value for money!

The staff were very helpful and the location was convenient for us.

Needs a full refurbishment; the beds were uncomfortable, we ended up using the pillows we had in the car, and the bathroom is very old. Minimal breakfast. Unfortunately, a fly was enjoying the meat elements of the breakfast!

Overpriced and dated, more self-catering than hotel

Location is excellent for the lift.

Poorly maintained (elevator doors screeching so loud they can be heard in room, extractor fans broken), dated interiors (no power sockets by the bed and only one socket in the entire room), lacklustre breakfast (small selection of deli items which often ran out, and ran out of boiled eggs on 3rd morning, ostensibly because the egg boiler broke - no cooked egg options), and wellness/sauna is so small you won’t get to use it unless part of a large group, which will otherwise hog the facility (they’d also run out of towels by 6pm and there were no staff to replenish these). Reception is in the other building across the road (connecting tunnel at -1) and only staffed mornings and evenings. Some single rooms are located adjacent to the elevator shaft making sleep impossible until everyone else has gone to bed, and all face the street and the loud church bells that go off every 15 minutes. Room is too hot to sleep and an open window invites in the noise of the bells and cars. Double rooms have nice views but again are too hot and also suffer from a lack of amenities, for the price. In general overall feeling was that it’s overpriced and understaffed, and does not offer hotel services, more like self catering rooms at approximately hostel level of quality.

located 2 min from gondola, so convenient. 4 person room was massive. breakfast was great and very convenient. sauna facilities were good and hotel bar / restaurant were good.

A cozy stay in a fantastic location.

The room was small and cozy. Had plenty of storage space from a large wardrobe (coat hangers provided) to 1 or 2 bedside draws Strong wifi Fantastic bar loved the atmosphere and the overall decor that is in the Arena Lodge in which you go to pick up your keys to your room. There is a sign on the front door of the Guesthouse to let you know that the Lodge is where reception is. The building is directly across the road with the names painted on the building. GO TO ARENA LODGE FIRST TO GET YOUR ROOM KEY AS THAT IS WHERE RECEPTION IS. There is a tunnel that links both ARENA Lodge and Guesthouse. The food was top notch! Less than a 5 min walk to/from bus stop and Flims ski slope. Food, shops etc all walking distance. Town was very quiet Staff was very friendly and informative LAAX App I would recommend downloading during your stay. Keep track on how many vertical meters you have done, where you went, unlock achievments that give points and can claim rewards. Fun competition with friends, purchase food and tickets to name afew things. Great views Great decor very cozy also downstairs where you walk in. Nice breakfast that had a nice variety. Free tea and coffee Sauna (Usually closed during quieter periods but can ask to open) Parking Friendly Locals Cloak room for ski's, snowboards and boots

A nice place to stay for skiers

The room was spacious and sunny, had a cute balcony with a view of the mountains. The location is excellent, 3min walk from Arena Express ski lift. Beds and pillows are comfy. You can use the coffee/hot water machine 24/7 and prepare snack or sandwich in the kitchen area. Grocery store is very close. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel has an underground garage. The bathroom cosmetics are really nice, there are even ear plugs in the room! Breakfast is basic, but fresh and tasty.

There was only one socket in the room that was usable with a converter. The bathroom is quite outdated (but still v. clean, including the shower curtain). The ski room is in need of some fixing. These were just minor things though and overall we had a great stay.

Hot chocolate in Flims

The view off the little balcony was fantastic. The combi-coffee machine in the loby/breakfast room kitchenette that provided free hot chocolates (Carotina, my fav). So close to the main lift in Flims. Central in the village. Pub in the main hotel just over the road. Super friendly and helpful staff. Free underground parking.

Nice room in the cosy hotel at the top location

The apartment is basic but comfortable. The furniture is not new, but is maintained in a good state and the apartment is very clean. The view from the balcony is great. The stairs to the upper level are safe. It was very quite at day and night. We only knew at the breakfast that we are not alone in this hotel. Breakfast is basic but the atmosphere is very cosy. There is also a free coffee/tea throughout the day and you can use their lounge to eat takeaway as long as you clean the plates after yourself. There is a small playroom for kids where they show kids movies every day. Good bakery is around the corner. You really feel like home and don't want to leave.

Would be good to have a power socket near every side of every bed. Also internet connection was not very stable, from great to non-existing sometimes. The matrasses could be softer. But those are really minor remarks.

Wonderful, for sure will be back!

The location is perfect. The views from the room are stunning and the ski lift is only a few minutes away by walk. Everything was super clean, the breakfast was amazing and the staff was super nice for us. All in all, an amazing place to stay and we will definitely come back.
