The most amazing winter hotel experience.

It’s a very cozy yet classy hotel, rooms are very clean, staff are amazing and friendly, there is a spa with all kinds of offerings, outdoor pool with warm jacuzzi, and the breakfast is top class! Our kids love the playroom and the pool. There is shuttle to the slopes every other minute and the driver is super helpful and friendly. They even provided mini robes for our little girls they think about everything You just get so well taken care of here! We would love to come back!

The room was (again, similar to previous years) pretty hot and there was no way to regulate the heating, thus, we had to open the window during the night, which isn't really energy efficient. The kids didn't really appreciate the selection of food in the kitchen & bar restaurant. The room was a bit dated, the bathroom didn't look very modern. Carpet in the rooms. Slightly weird furniture in the corridors, like a historic communication desk (?) and an old bed in the underground passage towards the main building. Hardly any German native-speaking staff. Not a cheap stay overall.

Truly deserved 10/10, we loved it!

This was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had – a fully deserved 10/10. If you are coming to Flims, this is the only place worth staying. The hotel perfectly combines the atmosphere of a classic alpine retreat with a modern, elegant design. Everything feels thoughtful and refined, from the interiors to the overall ambiance. The staff are exceptionally kind and helpful at every stage of the stay – genuinely warm, professional, and always attentive. There are three or four different restaurants offering a wide variety of excellent cuisine. The food is delicious (not the cheapest, but absolutely worth it), and the breakfasts are outstanding. One of the main lobby restaurants even has a DJ playing soft, pleasant music from the morning – a unique and very enjoyable touch that adds to the atmosphere. The spa area is superb: a proper swimming pool with warm water, a beautiful outdoor pool, and an excellent sauna section. It is the perfect place to relax after a day on the slopes. The location is in quiet street, a bit on the side but the ski shuttle service is flawless. I mean it. It runs smoothly in both directions, with waiting times never longer than five minutes. It is incredibly convenient and well organized. In 3 minutes you're next to the ski lift and after long day of skiing you can feel like a VIP with private shuttle just after you take off your skies. The hotel is great both for groups of friends and for families. There is a dedicated playroom and games area for children, which makes it very family-friendly. Accommodation is available either in the main building or in Villa Soldanella, but there is absolutely no need to worry about that. Everything is connected by an underground corridor, and the whole solution is so well designed that you barely notice the difference. I highly recommend this hotel and will happily return. An exceptional place in every sense with reasonable price as for Swiss Alps and such a quality.

The only slightly odd aspect was the restaurant reservation system. One evening we came in and, despite many free tables, we were told we needed to make an “official” reservation and receive an online confirmation first. It felt a bit over-formal for the situation. When the restaurant was very busy, the staff seemed a little overwhelmed as well. That said, this is truly a minor detail compared to the overall quality of the experience and does not change the very positive impression of the hotel.

Excellent hotel in Flims

The "Soldanella" rooms are connected to the Hotel Adula by a short underground passageway, which is about a 2-3 minute walk at most, so in our opinion this can be counted like any other room in the hotel. - Bedroom was of a good size. The sofas and balconys were welcome additions. - Bedding was of exceptional quality. - Bedroom temperature was good, not too hot or too cold. - Reception staff were efficient and spoke good english. We arrived early and the bedroom wasn't available, the reception arranged for the staff to take our luggage to the room later without us event having to request it! - The spa/wellness area was great, with a large indoor pool and also good size outdoor jacuzzi/hot-tub pool. - Breakfast was varied and of good quality, even though the hotel was "fully booked" it never felt too busy or crowded. - The ski-minibus shuttle service was very efficient with pickups outside the ski room to directly to the lift station (and reverse). When booking, we thought that this may have been a gimmic, but were very impressed by the frequent service. - Getting to the hotel is very easy as it is convinently located a few minutes walk away from the post-bus stop with express busses to Chur for onward travel to Zurich.

- When paying the additional charges at checkout, the card machine is programmed to offer the option to pay in CHF or your "home" currency. Even though I selected CHF, I was charged in GBP with a bad exchange rate. - The shelves in the ski room are confusing with numbers attached to them, we were not sure if they were out of date room numbers, so we just had to use a random shelf.

We ate in the "Vegan" Restaurant. The food was delicious but we were dissappointed not to be able to sit outside on such a lovely evening. Service was great as well. Just would have liked to sit outside.

Adequate breakfast. Could have been more hot food available but this is Europe and the hotel breakfast represented the norm so I have no complaints.

I don't really have anything to complain about. The room was too warm for me so I had to turn the radiators off and open windows but there area is quiet so noise was not a problem, at least when I was there in any case.

We stayed at the low cost version of this hotel: Soldanella. Everything was amazing, the rooms were good even being the low-cost version, friendly staff, access to that amazing SPA, games room, ski room, shuttle to the ski lift, and the breakfast.. OMG! I think I haven't seen such variety of food for long! It was my second stay here and won't be the last.

Small detail though: it would be nice if the spa would open till a bit longer, e.g. 9PM... instead of til 8PM

Alles war perfekt: die Zimmer, der Spa-Bereich, das Restaurant, das Frühstück, der Shuttle-Service zu den Pisten und vor allem das Personal. Alles war einfach perfekt. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Die Anzahl der geschlossenen Pisten. Aber das Hotel ist natürlich nicht daran schuld ;-)

En underbar vistelse!

Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal, utmärkt frukost och fina faciliteter. De sympatiska chaufförerna som körde shuttlebussen till skidliften var väldigt hjälpsamma och varsamma i hanteringen av skidutrustning. Housekeeping städade två gånger dagligen och var alltid vänliga och lyhörda för våra behov. Trevliga lokaler, härligt spa och tysta rum med väldigt bekväma sängar.

Det var komplicerat att dela nota i hotellets restauranger och möttes ibland av motvilja hos personalen. Det var kallt i Flims under vår vistelse och barn under 16 tilläts inte i bastun oavsett tid på dygnet.

Ein prima Ort für einen abwechslungsreichen, entspannten Aufenthalt.

Das Frühstücksbuffet ist vielfältig und gut organisiert. Der Hit ist die Saftpresse, wo man seinen eigenen Saft zusammenstellen kann. Die ruhige Lage mit Blick ihn die Natur ist wunderbar. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gut ausgestattet. Wellnessangebot und Spielzimmer sind für Familienferien ideal.

Das Personal versteht und spricht entweder kein Deutsch oder hat sonst Mühe mit Kommunikation, Organisation und Kundenorientierung. Das war bei unserem letzten Aufenthalt viel besser.

Tolle Lage. In wenigen Minuten zu den Wanderwegen in Richtung Rheinschlucht und die beiden Bergseen. Am frühen Abend lief sogar ein Rehbock am Hotel vorbei. Personal immer aufmerksam und auf Zack. Super Frühstück mit Produkten aus dem nahen Umfeld. Massage im Haus kann ich auch empfehlen.

Accoglienza e efficienza di tutti i servizi. Ottima colazione e abbondante. Personale sempre a disposizione e gentilissimo. L'uso della spa è stato molto rilassante.

Unica cosa il parcheggio auto era con pietre molto grosse e si aveva a mio parere difficoltà a camminare. Non è grave ma visto che è tutto perfetto non fosse male rivedere la situazione parcheggio.
