It was like being spoilt at home. Our stay was excellent.

Friendly staff in all areas of the hotel, with excellent service and a sense of holiday fun, great pool, ambience, yoga and spa facilities exceptional. Events to entertain including NYE were wonderful.

Would have liked an extra vege soup option at lunch, but the food overall was excellent.

Outstanding hotel in great location

Beautiful historic hotel right in the middle of Flims, convenient to everything in the area. And yet extremely quiet in beautiful garden setting. Staff were amazing and the room was spacious and wonderfully accommodating with a private balcony. Breakfast was also wonderful with anything you might desire. I was traveling for several weeks and had them do my laundry which was beautifully done! This was a great choice

My only quibble was with the shower. Just not quite enough room to be comfortable.

great stay with an unbeatable location and wonderful staff.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. The location is excellent, close to the lake, beautiful hiking trails, and not far from the Grand Canyon of Switzerland, making it a perfect base for outdoor activities. Breakfast was good and satisfying, though not particularly exceptional.

The only downside was that the room felt warm at night, and since we couldn’t open the window due to mosquitoes, it was slightly uncomfortable.

TOTAL DISASTER

Nothing. This hotel was a disaster.

This hotel likes to advertise itself as being close to Grindelwald. It is NOT. Despite being a 3 hour drive away, it appears in searches for Grindelwald, ready to mislead customers who aren't familiar with the area. This led us to arriving at the similarly named Romantik in Grindelwald, where their staff told us we weren't the first guests to end up at the wrong Romantik hotel because of these guys. When I reached out for a refund, they told me there was nothing they could do because it was short notice so stole around $900 USD. In the end, Booking didn't care either so had to swallow the cost and rebook hotels in Grindelwald where we actually wanted to holiday the entire time. So, despite, never, ever having any interesting in visiting Flims/Films or whatever it is this hotel actually is, they took our money, refused to help and presumably continue to advertise their hotel in a more desirable area than the one they're actually in. All in a all, a TOTAL DISASTER and a hotel and team you want to avoid.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. The restaurant is also very good. Breakfast has a good variety of foods to choose from. Dinner is also excellent

I have been many times to this hotel and was very impressed by the renovated spa. The rooms and common areas are very clean and well maintained

In the bathroom the shower setup - glass door allows some water through. Also would be nice to have the towels in the spa rather than bringing them from the room

Great location, fantastic staff and a special place to stay in Flims

The hotel was cosy and quaint. The staff were welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. Room was gorgeous and bed was comfortable and large. Breakfast was excellent with wide range of options. Location and setting was breathtaking. It started snowing when we arrived so we were lucky to get the full Winter Wonderland effect,

Staff very nice and friendly. They take all the time to explain all the facilities. There are EV charging station exclusive to guests which we found very convenient. Place is super clean.. The upper terrace has breathtaking view.

Fantastic stay in a warm and welcoming chocolate-box hotel - we will definitely be back!

The hotel has such charm and retains its warm, family-run feel. Our room was small but very well arranged, clean and the bed was really comfortable. The ski room is really convenient and the swimming pool and spa were lovely. In particular the staff were wonderful, so friendly and accommodating - they made us feel right at home.

The rooms are a little small for the price and some of the communal areas of the hotel are a little tired, but this is easily outweighed by the charm of the hotel and the beautiful roof terrace.

Pretty pink castle in the mountains

Really great breakfast and the staff are super friendly - especially the Spanish waiter who has been there for 14 years. Good yoga and Pilates classes in fabulous studio looking down the valley - perfect for after ski stretching. Bedrooms are well equipped although compact and the pillows are super comfy.

Ski and boot storage is in a cold room and the boot heater did not always work so boots were often cold and hard to put on in the morning. Also there are not quite enough boot prongs for the number of guests when the hotel is full so if you are late back you don’t get one (unless you reserve by putting slippers on the prongs which other guests did!!). There are also few benches in this room so you have to stand to put your boots on (and walk outside in socks to get to it) - so this aspect could be improved for the winter season.

A very well maintained hotel with history and charm plus friendly staff and good services

I booked a single room. All was small but all very cleaverly arranged and organised so you had a little desk and work corner next to the window, enough storage, a chair, a shower room and all worked and it had some charm. Although an old hotel it had quite some charm and all was very well maintened. The reason I chose the hotel was because of the lap pool that allowed 10 people to swim laps at the same time plus there was on OK sauna too. Although in a quite location it was only 2 minutes away from the main road.

A luxurious kid-friendly place

Lovely hotel, we had a great view from our room. It is surprisingly child-friendly for such a 'fancy' hotel, they had a Tripp Trapp baby seat for our youngest, there were small toys in the restaurants, the hotel has bathrobes for children. There was a toy on the extra bed for our son to play with during our stay. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful.
