The way we were welcomed was exceptionally warm and informative. The studio was nice. And we were very close the Caumasee area, which offers diverse and enjoyable walks. We also like the possibility to use the sauna and swimming pool.
We did not like the restaurant. The risotto was like salty soup, the pizza came from an oven that was clearly too hot since all of the crust was burned while the centre was soggy, the waitress was in our faces and kept filling up our glasses without consent, and -for such a simple meal -the price was truly outrageous.
Another thing we did not like: the pillows on the bed. The were exceptionally soft.

We made our own breakfast in our room, which was exactly what we wanted to do. On request we were given a great kettle so could make lots of tea! The bed was perfectly comfortable. The busstop either to Flims 'Bergbahn' or to Laax (similar distance) was very conveniently next to the hotel and runs very frequently. The pizzeria which is run by the hotel is excellent and there are several other restaurants very nearby. We were very happy with our choice of accommodation and have no hesitation in recommending it.
The pillows were too thin, with no substance about them.
Sauna towels and robes are not provided freely (which is probably better for the environment, although less comfortable for the client)
Our rubbish bins were emptied daily, but there was no evidence of any recycling going on.
