payed the price of a 5 star, felt I was on a 3 star hotel.

The Spa. The breakfast buffet. The staff and specially the very helpful Jacob and the kind breakfast staff.

How can you charge more than € 320 per night, off season, in a simple standard room with no vue, no fridge or coffee, with curtains so narrow that one meter is missing to block the light and then be told the housekeeping is only going to make my room every second day,,, cocktail drink was diluted. dinner was average. The management appears to be SO stingy! The feeling that they are « Milking the cow ». And the clients are the cows.

Great place to stay for the value.

Very charming and very relaxing. Not a large hotel, but it had the quality of bigger hotels.

The room was quite hot the first night and hard to sleep. We opened the windows the entire second day and slept quite well the second night. The double bed was pinned to the wall on one side, so the second person had to slide to the foot of the bed to get in and out of bed. Otherwise the bed was quite comfortable, good mattress.

Exactly what we were looking for...

The apartment was huge, exactly what we needed with a small child and in the middle of the pandemic. Service was great, very accommodating to our needs. Staff was always super friendly and communication was swift. Food was much better than expected. Snow trekking paths go right by the hotel which was what we were looking for. Knowing Swiss prices, value for money was great.

The family apartments are not up to the same standard as the renovated parts of the hotel. I assume the hotel is slowly upgrading. We don't mind so it made for a solid value-for-money experience in our case.

Top Hotel

Es gab Probleme bei der digitalen Übertragung von Booking zum Hotel. Hierbei muss man betonen das der Fehler bei Booking.com lagen. Mit außerordentlichen super Einsatz wurde von der Rezeeption eine schnelle und saubere Lösung gefunden. Hier nochmals großen Dank. Die Unterkunft ist toll ausgestattet. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir hatten eine erholsame Zeit in der Alpenlodge Val Gronda.

Es war gepflegt und sauber, das Frühstück war sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet, das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Unterkunft war durch die nahe Bushaltestelle ideal gelegen.

Das Abendessen war eher teuer.

Tolles Frühstück. schöner Saunabereich. Dusche, WC im Zimmer schön renoviert.

Preis Leistung für Abendessen stimmt nicht. Whirlpool ist zu kalt. Zimmer hätten zum Teil auch mal ein Refreshing nötig.

Gemütliche Kaminbar, schön gemachter Wellness-Bereich & Restaurant. Bedienung sehr freundlich.

Restaurant zum Abendessen hatte nur eine kleine Auswahl mit stattlichen Preisen. Mein Entrecote bestellte ich Medium Rare, ich bekam es well done. Es wurde jedoch ohne Diskussion nochmals Medium gebracht, was ich schätzte. Das Sprudelbad im Wellness dürfte wärmer als 27 Grad sein, obwohl ein kaltes Bad zur Muskelentspannung wohl besser ist. Ansichtssache.
