It was the most central location possible, only a 2 minute walk to the bus stop up to the palace. It had an adorable balcony and the breakfast was perfect!
It was a little hard to find (it’s not right on the street) but once you see it, it’s perfect

Great location at the top of town. But be aware N-247 is a one way road and sometimes partially closed in morning (until 10a.m.?). As touring by motorcycle was able to park near don't (using gentle sloped cobbled street just past hotel.
No issues but only 2 coat hangers which was odd but not a problem for us.

It is 100 yards from the bus stop to Pena Palace.
It was 130 yards from the centre and 250 yards to Sintra Palace.
It was tiny with just 5 rooms and an honesty kitchen with cake
Check in and out times were excellent and it was very cutely decorated.
Tea making was in the kitchen rather than the room.
There is awful parking and traffic in Sintra, and Ubers are cheap from Lisbon-

Our stay at this guest house was overall okay. The location was excellent and the staff were very kind and always willing to help, which we really appreciated. That said, the room could have been a bit cleaner, more comfortable, and with better soundproofing. There was no air conditioning and the window was very small, which made the room feel a little stuffy.
The biggest downside though was the parking. The guest house recommended a parking lot that was about a 20 minute walk away, mostly uphill, which turned into a real struggle with suitcases. That part was honestly quite tiring.
