The breakfast was fabulous !! Loved the back yard sitting area!! Location was actually better than I expected, it was fantastic!! Overall the highlight stay of our trip!
If you are looking for feedback…. Maybe a little place to sit at the bottom of the backyard stairs to the second garden:)

Lovely guesthouse in a beautiful city with very helpful and welcoming staff. Huge, comfy beds in an extra large room (we were very grateful to be upgraded to a suite). Great breakfast in a nearby cafe (co-owned with the Chalet). Very useful advice from helpful receptionist Katarina including parking, restaurants and the attractions we came to see. We loved every bit of our Sintra stay, and a lot of that was due to Chalet Saudade. Chalet Saudade and Sintra were highlights of our three week lap of Spain and Portugal.
It seems churlish to mention there was no elevator in such a beautiful historic guesthouse, but staff helped us up and down the stairs with our bags so we aren't complaining - just mentioning it for future guests as it could be an issue if you have mobility problems,
