Casa Holstein Quinta de Sao Sebastiao Sintra

The property was very pretty our room was lovely and big. The Manager was super helpful on arrival explaining everything we needed to know and showed us places of interest on the map where to get the bus from and restaurants they recommended which we found really helpful.

The breakfast was ok but it is included in the price. The property would benefit from a bar not just the fridge are by the pool. However there is a mini bar in the rooms. There wasn’t a tv in the room which is minor but it’s something you expect. All minor things that didn’t spoil our stay there.

Casa Holstein is a beautiful historical building. It is a boutique B and B. We had an enormous bedroom with separate dressing room. The building is old, but that is the charm as many original features remain. The gardens are lovely and the setting reminded me of Tuscany. Bed was huge and comfy and the location was quiet yet close to the historical centre. 5 mins to restaurants. The swimming pool is amazing. Cool and perfect for a swim or sitting reading a book. Highly recommend this place to stay while in Sintra. Breakfast is included but just cereals, boiled eggs , pastries, fruit. No hot options but it was enough. Also note there are stairs to upstairs rooms, no lift.

Location was excellent, reception was very nice and supportive, we got a room upgrade. Amenities were great. And those fresh hot croissants for breakfast…what you can wish more:) … Only one disappointment…that we had only one night to stay in this lovely place.

Breakfast and staff excellent.

Casa was very humid. We were moved to another room which was much better. Was offered full refund for first night.
