Estalagem De Colares

Adorei a Estalagem de Colares, para começar é um atendimento super personalizado, muito simpáticos e prestáveis. O espaço está decorado com muito gosto, vê-se em cada detalhe. Os quartos super confortáveis, espaçosos, mesmo para uma estadia relaxante, no meio da natureza, à beira do riacho. O pequeno almoço é divinal e muito diversificado. Os proprietários estão de parabéns, pelo espaço, pela recepção, pela simpatia.....um alojamento diferenciado. Simplesmente amei!

I rarely submit a review of places I booked on Booking.com but I am making an exception in this case. Estalagem de Colares is a gem. The house is newly renovated and the room I stayed in was beautiful and spacious and well outfitted and even came with a variety of complimentary snacks. The front door is barely a meter from a busy road, but the rooms are well set back from the road along a small stream. You do not hear the traffic from the room, just the sound of the water from the creek and the frogs in it. The place also has a nice resting area next to the river. The place is run by a lovely couple from Toronto (among other places) and have made the guesthouse their life project. They were simply magnificent, welcoming, helpful and full of stories. Also, there was by (very) far the best and most wonderful breakfast I encountered on my bikepacking ride along the Portuguese coast. This was an a la carte breakfast with several choices. I had the country harvest omelet and it was excellent. Furthermore, the owners surprised me with birthday cake since it was the morning of my birthday. We shared stories and it made for a special day. If this is not a 5-star experience then I do not know what would be. I am confident you may have a similar experience.

The front door is almost on the road, so be careful when you put your bike through the door/gate. But really, this is not much of an issue. Once again, the rooms are set back by a good distance from the road and you cannot hear the care son the road from the rooms.

Sehr schönes Hotel, von aussen eher unscheinbar. Wenn man aber erstmal an der Rezeption steht ist die Überraschung gross. Sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Hotel, die Zimmer sind sehr schön. Das Bad ist eine Wucht. Lange nicht mehr in einem so guten Hotel mit sehr guten Betten übernachtet. Wohlfühlfactor 100%. Das Frühstück wird frisch zubereitet, es gibt Eier in verschiedenen Varianten, die kommen heiß an den Tisch. Alles mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. . So ein wunderschönes Hotel habe ich schon lange nicht mehr gesehen. So viel Liebe steckt in jedem Detail. Die Inhaber sind unheimlich lieb und zuvorkommend. Wir haben noch nie so leckere Pancakes mit frischen Obst gegessen, wie hier. Es lohnt sich hier zu übernachten. Wiederkommen ist eigentlich Pflicht. Vielen Dank für so viel Gastfreundschaft.
