Very nice place with few issues

Place is very peaceful, view , room and food is excellent.

1-Main problem with toilet as it is open to the forest which will cause many bugs etc.. to be there . Maybe mesh should be installed . 2-few small openings found (need maintenance) which ants can enter to the villa adding to that drops of rain entering from one place at ceiling.

Looks good in principle but needs to be updated

I stayed in a one bedroom ricefield villa. I liked the living area.

The bathroom furnishings were old and the towels are also old. The bathroom amenities are cheap plastic not “green” at all. The bathtubs were not usable as the drain cannot be opened so water was just stuck there. The breakfast was a limited option (plated, not buffet) so it was not a good value for money.

A solid experience that could become even better with just a few small touches

The property is in a fantastic location, and having Circle K right next door was a convenient bonus. Overall, it was a wonderful stay with excellent staff who made the visit memorable.

While not a common requirement, having a wheelchair available is essential for a property of this size. Guests—particularly elderly visitors—may need it, and ensuring accessibility reflects thoughtful planning The breakfast menu could use some improvement—introducing a buffet system would truly elevate the experience and make the stay feel complete.

Incredible place to stay!

We had the most amazing stay! The staff went above and beyond for my daughter birthday making her feel so so special! Nothing was too much to ask when we needed things like scissors and fly spray. The villa was very clean. Location was fantastic with the shuttle bus included taking you into the centre of town. Food was tasty! We will be back again!

Nice place but a let down

Spacious and close to a convenience store Woke up one morning with a snake beside my bed - thankfully staff came promptly to pick up lol it was a fun adventure!

Wifi didn't work amd staff didn't believe me - kept telling me I was doing it wrong until they finally came to the room and realised that our wifi router was not working. I don't mind things not working- I understand that things break down. But it took 2 days before anyone finally believed me to come fix it. This was very frustrating as I went to reception multiple times both days

We loved everything the staff where absolutely amazing really nice and attentive, the villa we stayed in was beautiful it was our favourite place to stay out of our 3 week stay in 3 different locations it was just really relaxing and loved every moment. The property was out of central Ubud which meant either walking into town or catching a taxi which was around $5 one way

The outlook for as beautiful overlooking rice fields.

Bed was a little hard. Only bath towels provided had to ask for pool towels everyday. Nowhere outside to dry towel so they were always wet.

Worth the money!

Everything was good from service facilities to the staff to the food.

It could have been better if they provided us with more cooking utensils. Rooms were nice but a little ventilation is required. We can’t keep the doors open because of insects.

Peaceful, comfortable and convenient.

Location was quiet, far enough away from the bustling traffic of central Ubud but not too far that you couldn’t easily use the free shuttle in to visit. Facilities were clean and comfortable, thankful for the inclusion of a dehumidifier. Private pool was fantastic after a long day.

Could have used an extra hand towel in the bathroom as well as additional towels for the pool.

Nice retreat away from the hustle of Ubud

Beautiful villa overlooking the rice terrace and very friendly staff. Far enough out of the centre of Ubud to be very peaceful but only a short drive or walk in.

The villa was missing some simple things like hand towels and pool towels. The kitchen had very little amenities, making it unuseable. It would have been handy to have plates & bowls (there was one huge plate), a toaster and dish towels. There was also some black mould in the main bathroom.

Villa was looking a little tired, worktops stained, doors not closing easily. Only half the pool lights seemed to work. Only one lounger outside for 2 bedroom villa.

Great stay but not the best value for money

All in all, was a good stay. Stayed one night at a suite without pool and 2 nights at villa with pool. The booking was on a very short notice and when later requested to upgrade the room, the communication with the property and the process went really smooth. The villa with the pool is great, very spacious, comfortable bed. The suite was also nice and had a living room on the second floor.

Had a huge cockroach in the room once (which is understandable since we were staying close to wild nature, and in general you can expect a lot of insects. Also our room had almost no power outlets (only 2 we could use to charge something). some power outlets did not work at all and, therefore, there was no light. The AC was middle strong and was randomly less strong at night (without us regulating it). It was a great stay overall but maybe you can find a better value for money in Ubud:)

Lovelly staff, nice outlook, bathroom needs urgent attention

- The gardens are well maintained - The staff go over and above to help and are all so friendly, they were very helpful with all our bags. - laundry service was efficient - the view of the rice paddy and forest was nice - they provided a cot and mosquito net for our daughter which was nice and appreciated

- despite three of us staying, each day they continued to only give us two towels, and cutlery for two people. (I see this has been noted in reviews previously so obviously still an issue) - the kitchen had barely any utensils, not even a teaspoon to be able make a coffee with the coffee they supplied. - our villa had two bathrooms, but we were never provided with any amenities for the second bathroom (e.g soap, handtowel or towels). - the bathroom was pretty dirty (mould, soap scum, insect dirt) and really needs an upgrade (rusty lights, peeling paint etc). Its really lets the place down. (Photos provided)

Unique well kept luxury Villa with amazing views and staff

The Villa setting was unique and amazing to experience staying in such a calm And tranquil place. We all definitely enjoyed the peaceful laid back atmosphere even the children. The facilities in the villa were brilliant and very thoughtful. Staff were so kind and could not do enough. Nothing was a problem and always keen to help. Breakfast is cooked to order and was cooked beautifully, presented nicely and tasted amazing and very filling. We would definitely stay here again and missed the villa when we had to leave.

Everything was brilliant. If we did want to suggest anything then maybe a small net to pick out the leafs in the pool which we could do ourselves. I know if we asked the staff would have come and done this too.

Insect infested hotel, made the amenities unusable

Our stay in Ubud was a huge letdown. The room was crawling with insects — ants, black beetles, and even lizards. We had to call staff three times in one day just to remove them. The kitchen, pool, and in-room jacuzzi were unusable because of the infestation. Totally ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing stay. Would not recommend.

A quiet and somewhat restful stay marred by poor condition of the villa interior.

I absolutely loved the green surroundings, the quiet street, the luxury of a private pool and a jacuzzi, and the wonderful staff. I also loved my daily vegan meals at the Muse Cafe that was located just next door.

The interior of the villa desperately needed repairs and replacements. Towels and floor mats were stained and frayed. The sofa covers smelled really bad and need deep cleaning (the staff did their best by spraying a fabric refresher and placing large bedsheets on the sofa so that I could rest on the sofa comfortably). Window blinds were broken in places and several of them could not be adjusted to open and close. The bathroom sink leaked and soaked the floor mat. The roof leaked water onto the living room coffee table. I tried to make the best of the situation and overall, I had a somewhat restful stay. The hardest part was the noise from the aircon unit in the bedroom that disrupted sleep - I turned down the fan speed to minimise the noise although that meant I slept in a room less cool that what I would prefer.

Worst experience ever!

Apart from the good staff, and the nice view from the villas, nothing was good.

After a long ride to Ubud, I arrived in the evening only to be greeted by a total blackout. There was no electricity on the villa side. I called the reception and was told that the electricity was working in the reception and restaurant only. The reason? There was no functioning generator for the villas. I spoke with other guests who confirmed that they also experienced a blackout on their first night. In Ubud, a blackout means no Wi-Fi, no way to charge your phone, no air conditioning, and no mosquito repellent working. You can imagine the situation. I called the manager who wasn’t on site, and was informed that I wouldn’t be charged for that night. Later, when I returned from dinner, the power was back, and I was relieved. But as I entered my room, I found small lizards roaming around. I hadn’t even opened the room door since check-in, meaning they were already inside. I couldn’t sleep in those conditions, so around 11 p.m., I left and checked into another hotel. Overall, I really wouldn’t recommend this place, especially not at this price. RUN!

Highly recommend this place on all levels!

My group of 8 all stayed in seperate villas and we absolutely loved this place! The shuttle bus gets you into town with ease or just call a Gojek as it’s less than 2AUD each way and super fast service. Loved the floating breakfast in the amazing pool, the staff and the villa itself. Cannot rate the staff here any higher, absolutely superb and kind and caring. We did the cooking class at this resort and absolutely loved the experience with Adi the chef. He took us to the local food market in the morning and we ate heaps of local snacks and fruits. Such an amazing stay here. Absolute bonus was the fireflies in the rice fields at night - so beautiful! Our highest rating of staff along our whole trip in Bali.

Great location for our honeymoon

Not much to fault. We had a super luxury villa with great private pool overlooking rice fields. Fantastic staff - super friendly and helpful. Breakfast great and free shuttle helpful for the short trip into the centre of Ubad. Would highly recommend.

It was very quiet and peaceful. Situated outside of the hustle and bustle of the town centre.

We moved rooms during our stay and in the 2nd room the blinds didn’t close in the bedroom. They need to be repaired. The room requires more towels as we had to ask for more towels the whole duration of our stay.

The villa in feneral was nice. Really cute amd quiet. Looks like on the pictures. Nice view, food in the hotel restaurant was deliciou. Nice staff , always there to help.

I was expecting more from the hygiene for this money. It's annoying also the fact you need to put your shoes and take them out every time you go from bedroom to the kitchen.
