It was a really beautiful resort! Food was also delicious at the restaurant. Loved the private pool villas.

There was a water issue in the entire hotel where we didn’t have water all day. That was inconvenient but i suppose it doesn’t happen often. Just unfortunate this occurred during our stay.

Our villa was a bit dirty and had rats (my husband found/saw them) and they didn’t really seem to care or do anything about it. Also not a super kid friendly space

We enjoyed our stay in a single room pool villa. Although the first room wasn’t as expected, the staff quickly relocated

The private pool is a highlight. We highly recommended it.

We mentioned that this was a birthday trip for my fiancé, and we were pleasantly surprised to receive a cake that said "HAPPY ANNIVERSARY." Hahaha, while it was a lovely gesture, we appreciated it nonetheless. Overall, we enjoyed the excellent service throughout our stay.

A secluded paradise in the midst of it all

There is nothing really to say about the hotel rather than it's amazing in all possible ways. The setting is so natural and in the same time luxurious, the food is delicious, the SPA is great value for money and it's a walking distance from the downtown if you don't want to wait for the shuttle. They also offer bikes if you fancy a little exercise. All in all, a great experience so do not hesitate to come give it a try :)

We booked 2 rise fields view villas but only one of them had an infinity pool that opened to the rise fields. The other one had a pool with no view but a terrace in from of the villa, which had a view of one of the main pools and in the back and a bit to the side, the rise fields. I will not take a point out of the hotel score for this but I do find it a bit unfair that this villa is also part of the rise fields view villas and is sold as such. I would much rather categorize it as a garden pool villa.

A beautiful and tranquil setting which felt like meditation.

Very comfortable and clean. The staff were so friendly and helpful (even arranging a courier to send on something I left in my room after checking out). The breakfasts were some of the best we’ve ever had.

Not for the mobility impaired

Beautiful gardens and excellent rooms

Resort a fair distance from Ubud. You had to get transport in order to get around. Contacted the resort to check if there would be issues with stairs before booking. Advised there were lifts to rooms. Unfortunately not advised that there were flights of stairs 20+ to restaurant rooms etc. This place is not for the mobility impaired as you will be trapped in your rooms. Advised that they could bring us in the back way but back room always blocked with cars and still 10+ stairs

The room and staff were outstanding. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were good. All the staff were helpful and friendly.

No soft cushions at the our villa's private pool, which meant that the sunbeds were uncomfortable.

tranquility and zen

Privacy in our rice-field view villa. It was peace and quiet, just what we needed. The sphere is relaxing , the gardens are simply breathtaking. It looks like exactly as on the pics and even more beautiful.

The breakfast is not like in European hotels, you have to order ala card and the yogurt portion is really tiny haha . But it’s more than enough, guys, no worries

Excellent Balinese coffees and cappuccino. The afternoon tea with freshly baked cake was fantastic. Staff were welcoming and friendly and went out of their way to accommodate you

We enjoyed our stay in Dwaraka overall. The ambience was fantastic; from the style of the Villa, private pool, amenities, decorations and watching the rice field from our room. We also would like to praise the attentiveness of staff, all of them were professional, caring, helpful and accommodating, there was nothing else they could have done to make our stay better. The fantastic breakfast was also a big bonus. We also enjoyed the frequent shuttle service to Ubud.

Our sink was leaking and it did not get fixed in time. there was also a flickering light that was distracting. (In general there were also a lot of insects and lizards which roam the rooms, it is expected as it is a jungle villa but becomes slightly inconvenient when you’re sharing a sink with ants, wiping lizard poo off shirts and needing to flush the toilet bowl of ants before each use). The “free benefit/15 minute massage” concept was not conveyed properly- we did not end up receiving it as I booked for a 30min deluxe foot massage (and the 15 minutes did not count towards it or offered as an addition). The deluxe foot massage was also not anything special. For the price paid I would have expected a bit more but aside from that, I would consider staying here again as this may be a one off/unlucky situation.

The hotel got much better than 5 years ago. They changed breakfast and added really great coffee into each room.

The shampoo and other shower stuff should be more luxury not the cheap apple 🍏 smell. The bed linen smelled not right sometimes.

Wonderful sanctuary

We absolutely loved this hotel. Our private pool was beautiful and the styling was beautiful. our villa was huge and well equipped. I also loved the location - our room was quiet and peaceful but within easy reach of central Ubud. The breakfast had all of the variety of a buffet but delivered a la carte - absolutely wonderful. The staff were super helpful and friendly.

Quite a lot of steps if you struggle with them but no more than most places in Ubud.
