Quiet and relaxing. The pool.
2 yoga classes a week (free) but more would be better.
We were allowed to check out at 3pm, but any later incurred a 1/2 night cost.
The restaurant/ breakfast. More Indian food than Indonesian. Much better and cheaper food everywhere else.
Not allowed to have a grab pick you up from the resort or within 3km. So have to use private taxi’s/ resort taxi’s.
A pot holed drive to the resort. Although it’s not far as the crow flies, it’s a long drive around 25 min. Same time to walk as it is to drive. A nice walking path but slippery in the rain.

The staff were exceptionally helpful - from reception through to the restaurant, the spa, the yoga & the cleaning & maintenance crew. They went the extra mile to enhance what was already a beautiful experience - the wonderful facilities, magnificent surroundings, etc.
The location is away from the madness that is Central Ubud but (if people really want to), it can be reached via the Campuhan Ridge walk (or by free shuttle, which takes about the same amount of time as walking). The Ridge walk is a notable feature... it's getting progressively more difficult to fing 'nature walks' around the Big Towns in Bali, but this is just at the end of the road to the resort.
And there is an assortment of warungs & cafes in easy walking distance, plus the fantastic massages at Karsa Spa. And if walking isn't a priority, then the staff are always ready to drop off by buggy...
Nothing, nic, nada, niente, nichts.tidak ada.....

The staff need a pay rise they are the best!!
The cost of staying there has gone way up from 3 years ago almost doubled sadly, it is cheaper to stay in Australia.

Stunning valley location
They sprayed for mosquitos and we were trapped in toxic smoke...the staff in the restaurant and reception didn't verbally warn us. That was a big shame.

Tropical peaceful paradise, all the staff were friendly and caring, our riverside pool villa was the perfect place to immerse ourselves in the lush green jungle and totally chillax! Abundant wildlife and flora, the gardens and facilites, were all immaculately maintained. Complimentary shuttle service to the centre of Ubud was perfect for dining out/temples/activities etc., and we also enjoyed our morning strolls from the resort, lots of cafes overlooking ricefields, lotus ponds, plus the ridgewalk pathway into Ubud centre if you fancy walking there. Great breakfast choices. Comfortable bed/villa, awesome spa facilities, yoga hut & gym. We'd definitely return, didn't want to leave, spent 8 nights there.

loved the gorgeous and clean room with a great view of the forest, free tea/coffee and snacks in the afternoon, good breakfast with a lot of variety, nice pool, free yoga classes and free shuttle to the center (6 times a day), exceptionally wonderful staff
i did not love the shower situation, you had to shower in the bathtub and it was spraying water everywhere - it was perfectly clean though

Overall good looking resort, with a nice pool area in the middle of the forest. The rooms are very spatious with a great view over the valley. We stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. Food is great, and the service is amazing! They really try to help you with all your needs!
Only two small things were that during our stay there was a bit of maintenance going on, and you are not allowed to use grab. You can only use local taxi services. It is good to support the local taxi drivers, but makes it all in all a bit more expensive.

The location is stunning- surrounded by lush tropical forest. The resort itself compliments this perfectly. The attention to detail at this place is insane- the architecture, the rooms, the delicious food. The staff were absolutely amazing and so kind, and went completely out of their way to ensure we had the best time. Been to Bali, and specifically Ubud area afew times, and I can confidently say The Lokha is place I’ve ever stayed and I cannot wait to come back.
Not a single thing :) Thankyou <3

Staying in a River View Villa was an exceptional experience. The villa was a beautiful space, with a private pool and with inviting, thoughtful landscaping. It proved a charming, restful escape. The facilities of the resort are well maintained and the staff are friendly and attentive. The pool area - surrounded by beautiful landscaping - and restaurant are at the heart of the property though never appeared busy or crowded. Focused on a lush river valley, the resort really feels like a jungle escape though really only a short distance from central Ubud. A useful shuttle service operates between the resort and central Ubud. The street area in front of the resort has several bars, restaurants and spas that are easily accessible and makes a change from resort fare. Also easily accessible is a popular tourist 'ridge walk' that leads to Ubud town centre. The resort lends itself to being both a relaxing escape as well as a base for exploring further afield.
While it wasn't an issue for me, the resort is set slightly back from the main road, by a steep drive. It may be an issue for guests less inclined to walk a steep hill to explore past the resort. Also, the area on the main road leading to the resort is developing quickly. Let's hope the area is not too spoilt too quickly.

The shower area is clumsy.. just makes the entire bathroom messy and wet

We took one room and one villa
The place itself is beautiful
The staff are nice and helpful
The massage was amazing but it’s open area so too much insect and geckos
I don’t see this as 5 star hotel
Too much insect and gecko sound are very annoying in the rooms
The breakfast is like a 2 star hotel not 5, they put one kind of cheese and it’s fake cheese, the breakfast area is open and too much insect there
The toilet has bad smell and even the villa has mold smell
The internet is barley working but they brought us a booster
The location is not too fare from the centre but the road is very bumpy

The room privacy and set up
Outdated building, restaurant and breakfast was very poor. Outdated toilet in the restaurant, not well trained staff, room sink and glass door dirty.

Tranquil feeling in beautiful lush jungle surroundings plus stylish rooms and incredible food.
Genuinely caring staff and manager. Can’t fault it.
You can walk to Ubud in 20mins along the Campuhan ridge walk too.

Went with Family (wife and kids) to celebrate my wife's birthday. The stay was for 7 nights.
The team surprised us with flower decorations on the bed and a bathtub filled with exotic flowers. On top of that the Lokha team gave a surprise with a birthday cake. We opted for 02 rooms - twin and king deluxe rooms. The rooms are spacious and clean. The property is beautiful with forest surroundings, Balinese traditional settings.
The spa service is very good. Staff are friendly, polite and very helpful. Recommend trying Casa da Lokha Restaurant which is just adjacent to the property. Overall, we have enjoyed our stay and the team made it a memorable stay.
Breakfast quality could be improved a lots. For the price we pay (in such resorts), the expectation is to have more items that can be added to bring in variety. We found it repetitive and can be tiring to eat the same things (with limited options) if you stay more than 2-3 days

The resort was beautiful and everyone was so so friendly and nice and helped so much. Nice Balinese dancing at dinner and free 30 minutes spa massage
It took 1 hour to get into the ubud centre for dinner due to heavy traffic. They offered shuttle service but you weren’t allowed to order a grab to pick you up from the resort. The hotel would have to organise it for you. Which was fine and it was so easy to arrange but it cost 100000 each way every time.

The views , the staff and everyone was amazing Wulan was very helpful at meal times and not forgetting the ladies in the spa area . We had complementary massage and booked another treatment before we left.
The shuttle service to Ubud is such a brilliant idea, it worked really well for us.
Nothing! Everything was up to standard.

We love coming to Lokha Ubud every year - it's our week to just reconnect, relax, and soak in the goodness of the rainforest. The staff are extraordinary and generous with their knowledge. They go out of their way to ensure you have everything you could need and are genuinely interested in ensuring your stay is special. They have recently completed some renovations, which has made a great resort even better, including an additional restaurant. The restaurants cater to the diverse cultures of their clientele with simple and delicious meals.
The day spa is always a highlight - well priced, exceptional spa staff, relaxing massages, and the most delightful flower bath option that I'd suggest any couple going there should do! The peace of listening to the sounds of the rainforest and Wos River, along with the delicate scent of the flowers, is nothing short of perfect.
Our pool villa never fails to please! The four-poster bed is super comfortable. The recent renovations have made great use of the space (of which there is plenty!). The bathroom is sun-soaked with an additional doorway directly to the garden, so if you want to go from the pool to the shower, you don't need to go into the bedroom first. Daily serviced room with turn down service is a beautiful touch!
Oh, and did I mention the gorgeous private infinity pool in our villa, and the amazing resort infinity pool overlooks the stunning valley?! No? I almost don't want to tell people about the gorgeous Lokha Ubud because I don't want to share this very beautiful place!!!
The hotel can also arrange day trips and airport transfers - as well as having a really useful shuttle bus service into Ubud between 10am - 8.30pm daily! Honestly, they will help you with anything you need!
Needless to say, we love our annual trip here and can't wait to go back!
Absolutely nothing!

The hotel is beautifully located, surrounded by a jungle. The staff is doing everything for you to feel like home. It’s easily the best place for a great relax.
The only small thing is that breakfast options are mostly Indian based, not Indonesian.

We had a very positive experience at this hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the facilities — including the restaurant — were good.
During our stay, we had an unexpected medical emergency, and the team went above and beyond to help us. They arranged transport to the hospital, helped pack up our room, and even organized shipping our belongings to us afterward.
We’re so grateful for their support. Highly recommend this hotel — not just for the comfort and amenities, but for the truly outstanding service.
One thing to note for families with small children: like many other places, the hotel uses anti-insect spray on outdoor areas. While this is understandable, it may not be ideal for babies or sensitive individuals, as the smell can be strong.

The last part of the road is rough getting there but that comes with the location . Limited eating options on site .

My husband and I went for our honeymoon. We stayed in a villa, and it was gorgeous. It was the perfect environment to relax and unwind, The whole property has great jungle views. The food was good and affordable. We both got multiple massages at the spa and they were fabulous.
The first room we checked in to had ants, slugs and a gecko. I know it's the jungle but it felt like a little too much life in there. The hotel kindly moved us to another room with significantly less activity.

The private pool villa was exceptional. The staff escorted us to our villa and took time to explain everything. Though located within a large complex it was secluded and quiet. All meals were excellently prepared and served.
Our private pool was a bit chilly but, refreshing! Not that it stopped us using it.

I loved everything! The place is amazing, you feel inside the jungle but with some luxury. The staff is so welcoming, they’re always asking you if everything is good. The hotel has a peaceful vibe. You can enjoy all the spaces. The breakfast and tea afternoon were delicious! The spa treatment was a plus. And the pool is amazing. It was the best hotel I ever stayed in my life so far. They really take care of your entire experience.
The only thing is that wifi didn’t work that good inside my room. But it wasn’t a problem at all, the network was good in the hotel, and the purpose of the trip was to rest no to stay connected in my phone, so even that was helpful.

Just a detail, should fix the bathtube not to cause a little flood in the bathroom :)

This property is exceptional. The warm and friendly staff, add to the tranquility and comfort of this hotel. We cannot rate our stay at Lokha highly enough.
Whilst we did know that the hotel was outside of central Ubud, the location did make access slightly more challenging. The hotel shuttle was, however, very convenient.

Absolutely amazing hotel, we had a villa with private pool. Staff were exceptional, lovely tranquil jungle setting, could not rate the hotel and staff high enough.
