Nestled on top of a beautiful hill overlooking the valleys of Ubud, Amora Boutique Villas is a destination on its own. A stone’s throw from the famous and absolutely gorgeous Campuhan Ridge Walk, the hotel is secluded yet close to everything you need. It’s truly a beautiful getaway and something you rarely find around the globe. Plus, the food! I am still craving their breakfast options every morning!
The only downside (which to no fault of theirs) is that grab isn’t allowed in this part of town. Expect slightly higher rates of cars.

Our stay was exceptional. We came for our honeymoon, this is the perfect place for couples. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The room was stunning and the views were breathtaking. I couldn’t recommend this hotel more and we’ll definitely be coming back.
Only slight downside is that it isn’t really walkable back from the town centre at night as it’s along the Campuhan Ridge Walk. But it’s a beautiful walk into town in the day. And there’s plenty of cheap taxis.

Staff, good will, ambience, proximity to other key venues on Ubud. We were very happy to find out that the spirit of good old Bali lives here after returning to Ubud since 2016. They made all the problems go away and tried hard to make us smile.
Chainsaw people in the valley cutting trees. Not a hotel fault anyways.

Cleanliness was outstanding, villa was spacious with great views. Facilities were in great shape (pool, bath tub, shower, etc)- all was luxury. The restaurant was outstanding and had a wide range of options- we didn’t need to explore any other restaurants. The service was great- everything was a phone call away. I couldn’t have asked for a better honeymoon destination at a great price.
Not much- all was very good.

Everyone was so kind and helpful. We had everything we needed — everything was spotless. The hospitality was wonderful! The food was delicious and the room was the most beautiful in the world. If we ever come back to Bali, we will definitely visit you again.
The only thing I would change would be to enclose the bathtub area with glass so that insects can’t get in

Very good for couples , private , clean
Relaxing
Only thing I’d suggest , two seater in room wasn’t to comfortably, but really no problem since we didn’t use it much

I don’t even know where to start to describe how incredible our stay was!
From the start the staff were excellent and so attentive. It was my partners birthday and when we arrived the staff created a happy birthday display on our bed and champagne waiting for us.
The manager took us around the property and made sure we were comfortable before leaving us to unpack. Our villa was unbelievably beautiful, so clean and spacious. The private pool was so relaxing with a great view.
The stand out was the food, the service again was amazing and the food was out of this world. The breakfast was the best breakfast I have ever had especially for a la cart, various options daily, a massive shout out to Tini and all the restaurant staff, you were all great!
We also had a massage which was amazing, full body experience and felt so relaxed afterwards.
The location is great, can walk into the city centre and visit all the attractions. The staff dropped us off and picked us up we needed to. I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars!!!
Nothing, everything was amazing!!

A truly amazing place with amazing views and the friendliest staff of our whole 1 month trip around Bali, they even gave us a travel mug once we checked out 🥰 food was brilliant and the rooms are incredible, the outside bath and pool were amazing and the bed was very comfortable. Surrounded by nature and happy people ❤️

We stayed at Amora Ubud Boutique Villas for 3 nights as part of our Bali trip, celebrating our wedding anniversary, and it was absolutely wonderful – beyond our expectations. The villas are beautifully designed to provide maximum privacy, with breathtaking views over the Ubud jungle. The private pool was the perfect way to refresh, especially after an early morning hike up Mount Batur to catch the sunrise. The staff were exceptionally attentive yet discreet, and the breakfast at the Birdhill restaurant was a highlight. We rarely crossed paths with other guests, which made our stay feel even more exclusive and peaceful. We are very happy we chose Amora Ubud and would gladly return!

The view from the room is amazing! Property was clean, bed was comfortable. The breakfast is delicious, there is quite a lot of options and portions are big. Nice restaurant in the premises with reasonable pricing. We also used laundry services, everything was cleaned and ironed perfectly. Staff friendly as well. Also these Villas are owned by Indonesian, we really liked it. I would really recommend this place for a friend and come back myself in the future.
The location is a bit far, you cannot order Grab or Gojek directly from the property and local taxi is maybe three, four times more expensive. But you can go around one kilometer to the zone were you can order taxi services with an app. Villa is east facing, direct sun is very limited, so keep it in mind. Not a lot storage for your clothes and etc (I think bigger rooms have bigger closet). However, the pros definitely overweights the cons for us.

The houses are very cozy, and the atmosphere is great. The location is very scenic too, you can take a walk to Ubud centre which takes about 30 minutes. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, the food was amazing! The chef has won a competition and is the number 3 best chef in Ubud! The public and the private pools were great! We also used the foot massage service and went on a morning walk, which we highly recommend.
This has been the best hotel experience of my life! You really feel like in paradise while you are there!
The toilet could have been more private, but it didn't bother us.

We were upgraded to a recently renovated private pool villa, which was a nice surprise. Every staff person was friendly and helpful. The meals at the terrace restaurant were very good including the service.
Nothing could have been done better, but beware there are a lot of steps for people with mobility challenges.

An incredibly relaxing stay away from Ubud’s hustle and bustle.
Beautiful facilities and the most amazing staff. I recommend making the most of their complementary activities, such as sunrise yoga.
Their breakfast menu is unmissable!

My stay at Amora Ubud Boutique Villas was absolutely perfect. The entire place is surrounded by nature, which makes it incredibly peaceful and relaxing. I woke up every day to the sound of birds and the view of lush greenery—it’s like a little paradise in the heart of Ubud.
The villa was spotless, beautifully decorated, and looked exactly like the photos. The atmosphere is calm and serene, ideal for anyone looking to rest, recharge, and feel close to nature.
The staff were outstanding—so friendly, helpful, and genuinely kind. They made me feel truly welcome from the very beginning.
The breakfast was also a highlight: fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented every morning, with options for every taste. The location is great too—close to Ubud centre but still tucked away enough to feel private and quiet.
I would 100% recommend Amora Ubud Boutique Villas and would love to come back one day. A truly magical experience
It need a big mirror haha

The property as a whole is such an amazing and romantic experience! The staff were very hospitable and accommodating. The food at Birdhill was more amazing than all of our reservation dinners out in Ubud. I would 11/10 recommend Amora to anyone!

Beatiful views. Lovely staff.
The location is a bit remote but perfect if you don’t plan to go in and out of Ubud.
7.0 / 10.0
Beautiful place, nice clean rooms, comfortable bed, good restaurant and amazing helpful stuff!
Location is great if you are walking tourist, for those who came by bike and plan to spend time in Ubud it will be quite disappointing to be in the centre of Ubud but still drive 35 mins to the centre cause there’s just one round road leading to this place.
Not good ration of value for money - very expensive for what you get.
Garden view means view of you on pool and decorated wall. Don’t expect to see jungle, only first row of villas have the view they post on Booking.

We stayed here three nights and is was a beautiful experience. The private villa with pool is very relaxing right in the heart of the Ubud Jungle. Felt like waking up in paradise every morning. They also organized various cultural activities like Balinese traditional dance and offering-making sessions. The staff is very friendly and helpful during the whole stay. Would definitely recommend to everyone.
Everything was perfect.

Amora Boutique Ubud is an absolute gem. While it's a little removed from the centre of Ubud, that's precisely where its charm lies. It offers a truly serene and authentic Balinese experience that simply surpassed expectations.
Getting into town- You can enjoy a stunning 20-minute walk via the Campuhan Ridge – highly recommended for the incredible views. If you prefer, a 30-minute taxi ride gets you there, as they navigate around the ridge. Either way, the journey is quite pleasant, and the taxis are very reasonably priced.
The staff at Amora are genuinely amazing. They are so warm, personable, and attentive, truly going the extra mile to make your stay special. For my birthday, they made me feel incredibly celebrated, a gesture I deeply appreciated. Their genuine care creates a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere throughout the entire property.
And the views! They are spectacular, offering a constant sense of peace and connection with nature. It's the perfect place to unwind and recharge.
The hotel itself is a lovely place to eat, offering delicious options right on site. Beyond the hotel, there are also several nice places to eat near the hotel, providing even more choices for local cuisine.
The breakfast is absolutely amazing, a fantastic spread to start your day.
A practical note on transport: taxis need to be booked directly through the hotel. Ride-sharing apps like Grab are not permitted in that community, which is a great initiative as it ensures the income stays within the local area. The hotel's taxi drivers were all brilliant – incredibly knowledgeable about the region and eager to share insights into Balinese culture, making every ride an interesting learning experience.
My only regret is not staying longer. I would have loved more time to explore the activities on offer and simply relax more.
Amora Boutique Ubud is a place I would 100% stay again.
The hotel does provide mosquito coils and spray, which are helpful. However, my only suggestion for an even more comfortable stay would be the addition of mosquito nets over the beds. I don't see this as a negative at all on the hotel. More a suggestion and info for future guests.
No lift, so for people with mobility issues may find it difficult as a few steps up and down. We didn't need to carry bags to and from rooms as this was all done for us. So that helped alot.

I stayed at Amora Boutique Hotel for a week and absolutely loved it. It’s tucked away in such a quiet, serene spot—perfect for unwinding. It really felt like a true escape from everything.
The staff were all so kind and welcoming, always checking in and making sure I was comfortable without ever being overbearing. They offer a 15 minute foot massage as complimentary treat—which was such a thoughtful touch. Please make time to use the spa for their other treatments too- quite possibly the best I’ve had in Bali! All of them were genuinely amazing.
If you’re after somewhere low-key, elegant, and relaxing, this place is a gem.

The staff and the views
You have to use taxis in that area (no grab or similar), which is ok. The problem is the taxi drop you out where they have their own spot. They did a fumigation without notice the day before. They leave a letter when we were out, so we had clothes drying outside which now is just fabric because of the smell that got impregnated. The place is specially advertised for couples. We booked a massage confirmed for 2 persons, but only one person appears saying the office told it was only for one. And other tiny details that just added to the disappointing experience.

I recently stayed at Amora Boutique hotel with my partner for a few days. It was the best hotel I have ever stayed at. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed with huge smiles form the friendly staff. The hotel is located in the middle of the rainforrest in Ubud. Stunning views ( huge butterlfies, squirrels and beauitful birds surronded by large forrest trees ).We received a complimentary room upgrade and we got upgraded to the villas in the hotel. They were modern designed and incredible. The villa was hige we couldnt believe it. Outdoor and indoor showers and a petal bath ready on arrival outside on the terrace. Private pool overlooking the jungle and we had complete privacy. We had all these plans to explore Ubud more and do day trips but we didnt want to leave the villa it was so nice so stayed and did activities near the hotel. There are amazing scenic walks one rice field walk if you walk out from the hotel and turn right. And one temple walk which leads to the main town in ubud when you walk out of the hotel and turn left. It takes about 30 mins to walk down to temple and villages. Stunning walk and the same back so its very easy to do shoppoing and go to other restaurants in the town,. The hotel can also organise a car for you at reception of need. We decided to do a balinese cooking lesson which was incredible which was organised by the hotel and takes part int he restaurant near the communal pool. It was incredible and you get to eat everythnig you cooked afterwards so its very great value. The food and chef were incredible. Shout out chef Moby. We also watched a show in the evening at the hotel with traditional Balinese dance. Breakfast was also included and we opted for the floating breakfast in the morning. INCREDIBLE. And to top it off you also get a complimentary foot massage too. There was a spa there but we didnt get a chance to go we were too busy having fun and exploring. I would 100 percent stay at AMORA again. I love always trying new hotels ever
They were perfect

Friendly and helpful staff. Great and super accommodating service. Room was beautiful and clean. Restaurant had amazing food. Breakfast options great too. Had scooters that can be rented which saved us a lot of trouble. Beautiful view from room. Overall had an amazing stay!
The private pool / daybed was a little bit dated and not that clean, could use an update, but was generally fine to use overall. A little bit out of the way in relation to the main part of Ubud, but it’s a nice quiet street if that’s what you’re looking for

Privat, silent, relaxed and at the same time having a great few of the valley, thats what we got at Amora. We really liked the whole package. The people are super friendly and professional. If you need them they are there for you. It is worth to know, that a scooter is a good thing to have, since it is a bit outside of everything.

The would location was the best part of our stay, a nice walk into Ubud town along the ridge walk. Our room was also lovely and a really nice view! However, was condensation on the windows all day so ruined the view if we were sitting inside. Had a lovely welcome with a free bottle of wine for our honeymoon celebrations. Staff were nice. Breakfast included was great and lots of options
Unfortunately there is construction going on at the hotel which started at 8am so did ruin the vibe slightly, was going on during breakfast. This really was a shame because we booked this place for peace and quiet as it’s a small boutique hotel and not a big hotel. This also meant we didn’t use their spa as it was completely disrupted by the construction, however some nice local spas in walking distance. The dinner menu was limited so ended up going into Ubud town for dinner but there were loads of really yummy options in town. Overall, feel it was expensive for what it was

It was magnificent! The staff made the experience wonderful.
The rooms are spacious, private and well equipped.
Food is solid, the breakfast is great.
The offered trips are great! Our guide (Komang) was amazing!
Even though it's quite far from the center by car, there is a wonderful shortcut through nature by foot.
Some parts of the rooms (tiles, doors, minor details) could use an update.
There were some construction works happening next door, but it wasn't unbearable.
