Relaxing stay in beautiful, well kept surroundings with amazing staff.

The property was immaculately presented. The room was spacious and the bathroom amazing with the outdoor aspect at one end adding a real feature. We ate at the property several times and were given the choice if we wanted to eat on our private verandah or in the open air dining area or in the lounge. The property is about 6 rooms around a central pool and dining area. Nothing was too much trouble, a particularly appreciated touch was the body bug spray provided which smelled lovely .Food was freshly prepared at a time of our choosing and delicious. We took advantage of being able to schedule a massage therapist to come and enjoyed the open air private setting for our treatments and at such a reasonable cost. We also set our own agenda for the driver organised by the hotel and enjoyed local sites and experiences. Ubud is a busy, bustling area but stepping into this property was an oasis of calm. It’s a short walk into town or a morning lift was available. The mother and daughter sellers at the small shop immediately outside the property were lovely and really appreciated my custom. I would recommend a relaxing stay in this beautiful place.

Beautifully appointed villa in a convenient tranquil setting with wonderful hosts.

Everything from the gracious hosts Karen and Noel to the wonderful team who were totally welcoming and always smiling. We felt truly pampered during our stay. The villas are beautifully appointed and the well maintained garden setting / pool a delight. They have thought about every comfort and provided for it. We were pleased to be up graded to a larger room with an enormous bathroom. Shower was fabulous & we were pleased to have a wonderful mosquito net around the bed. The breakfast is healthy and delicious, as is the catering in general- all carefully prepared and presented. We only bothered to eat elsewhere once. Location is very convenient too. They were very helpful arranging a driver for a day trip and our transfer in departure. Fully recommend!

Nothing really. A couple of tiny practical things - the power bank could be more conveniently located near the fridge / kettle. A mirror in the bedroom would be great for when the bathroom is occupied- but they’re not game changers!

10 out of 10. 1. The most important thing for me is cleanliness, and this is something I always pay close attention to. Here it was absolutely flawless. Every corner of our room was spotlessly clean and smelled wonderful. 2. It was a great pleasure to stay at this hotel. We spent 3 nights here and are still under a wonderful impression. From the very first moment, we felt truly welcomed and well taken care of. 3. The room was very spacious, and we absolutely loved its design with a charming Balinese style. The bathroom was also large and bright - it gave an amazing feeling of comfort and space, simply wow! 4. The breakfasts were delicious and filling, and the coffee was excellent. 5. We booked a tour through the hotel - the prices were as the average in town, and the driver was excellent. 6. We also used the laundry service: very reasonable prices. 7. All services were provided quickly and efficiently, always with a genuine and warm smile. Huge thanks to the staff for their outstanding work - it’s clear they truly care about their guests. 8. The hotel is located slightly away from Ubud’s main street, which was actually an advantage. It was a real pleasure to return to our quiet little street, away from the crowds and busy traffic. Thanks a lot, we will definitely come back!

We couldn't be happier with our choice

The Hotel staff took care of all our needs. They provided meals at times we were not able to get to restaurants or were too tired to venture out. They arranged the taxi/cab rides to the destinations we wanted to visit, including drop-offs and pick-ups. They scheduled SPA services for all of us in the party.

The villa's bathrooms have an open outdoor view which we felt was a bit uncomfortable. While not easily viewable - it was a bit uncomfortable.

One of the best boutique hotels

We had a fantastic stay in this charming boutique hotel. It’s located in Ubud in a central part of Bali, which was very convenient to go to different parts of the island. The breakfast is great, very fresh and tasty. The room is big and nicely decorated. Small details like having a sarong and a bag to use in the beach. The staff is extremely friendly. The cost benefit is excellent. We used massage, manicure, pedicure and laundry with very competitive prices compared to spas in Bali. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

The lack of power outlet in the master bedroom, we had to charge our phones in the bathroom.

Villas are built in a beautiful gareden setting and very private. Rooms were well appointed, clean and comfortable. Biggest bathroom we have experienced! On arrival, we were very touched to see that the staff had decorated our bed with rose petals celebrating our 34th Wedding Anniversary. Terima kasih Beautiful pool setting for breakfast. Lots of shade, but also sun loungers to soak up the sun. Peaceful and quiet, tranquil and lush. The staff were amazing, particularly Putu, Agu and Novi and a special thank you to Tia who we had great chats with, over breakfast. We will be back. Terima Kasih! 😃

Excellent!!!

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Each room was built and decorated like a traditional balinese house. The garden was near a river full of tropical trees and plants. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was very friendly. The location, not in the centre of Ubud but very close to it, was ideal for quietness and relaxation.

There were no pavements so it was rather difficult to walk to the centre of Ubud when the traffic was heavy.

Our time at Kano Sari was absolutely amazing, from check-in to check-out! The team were incredibly helpful and friendly, and really made our stay even more enjoyable. The room was perfect and had everything that we needed and more! The food was beautiful and the breakfast juices are not to be missed! (The ABC comes highly recommended). Beautiful pool with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the sun shine. The location is also perfect as it is away from the hustle and bustle in the centre of Ubud, but still also within walking distance from many restaurants and shops. Kano Sari is the perfect place to stay whilst in Ubud!

A wonderful base when staying in Ubud from start to finish, the staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating to all our requests, the rooms were large and beautifully clean, and the location is great (just a 5-10 min walk or so from the main centre). Cute, homey, comfortable stay really felt like a home away from home thanks to the staff!

Everything was good but what really set this place apart from other places was the exceptional staff, they really made you feel like you were at home, small tight-knit family that all said hello and really felt like they cared about your stay and the rest of your day. They remembered that I liked chilis with my breakfast and no sugar in my juice and continued to deliver throughout the week without having to ask twice! They clean your room twice a day and helped with you everything you need, from mosquito repellent to shuttles into town. They even went above and beyond to rectify a misunderstanding. Thanks for the amazing stay!

Not a huge deal but just didn't expect it to be semi-open air. I think the window had wooden blinds but it had no glass panes so mosquitos could easily get in. Also charging was hard as there were limited outlets in convenient places.

Absolutely lovely place with super friendly staff.

The common area was a very spacious and clean. I loved that everything was open to nature which gave the property a very calm and relaxing experience. The pool was wonderful with both enough spots in the sun and shade. The patio where you have breakfast is excellent with a nice view of a small bit of jungle. The room was very spacious and super tidy. Luckily they had a mosquito net as the room was exposed to open nature.

Perhaps this isn’t a real flaw, but the room was not completely closed, so if you’re not used to sleeping with sounds of insects, gecko’s or owls, it may be difficult to fall asleep.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to do our laundry. Also able to book massage in the complex. They have a space set up for it. You order your breakfast the day before with plenty of options. Free filter drinkwater in the room. Saron included for the temples. They also come in the evening when you’re gone to make your room sleep ready and turn on the AC. All in all, lovely!

Peaceful Jungle Retreat with Exceptional Service

Our stay at Kano Sari Villas in Ubud was fantastic. The setting is serene, surrounded by lush greenery, and the rooms have a beautiful open-air jungle vibe. We had a minor issue with the AC, but the staff responded quickly and offered us a new room. The service was outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuine. They also treated us to a complimentary massage, which was absolutely euphoric with the soothing jungle sounds in the background. Highly recommended for a relaxing Ubud escape.

Absolutely gorgeous peaceful spot

This is an absolutely beautiful property, you can tell much effort and thought has gone into both the rooms and the lush garden. From the comfy bed and beautiful fresh linen, to the small touches in the room. The staff were warm, welcoming and helpful but never intrusive. It was my birthday during this trip and they sang me happy birthday and brought me a little cake 🥹I would recommend this spot to anyone
