In the town centre and at a reasonable price. Staff were attentive and friendly.
TV needs to be a bigger but not a deal breaker as it worked fine.

The room was huge
No mattress protector bed. Our room was on the top floor so if you struggle with stairs it maybe worth requesting a lower floor. Overall clean

Excellent location very central, however front facing rooms are a bit noisy through the night with street cleaning etc.
Nothing about property, breakfast a little disappointing, not great selection for a continental breakfast.

It had a nice atmosphere
Being central we were woken early both mornings with bottles being collected and the Christmas markets being taken down, trucks pulling up, people shouting

Fantastic location, lovely room and amazing breakfast. Staff so friendly and helpful. Great view
Beware it’s very noisy as it’s right in the centre of town. This didnt bother us though

Great little place, very friendly staff, especially the cleaner who is really kind. cosy pub downstairs. Rooms are clean. Beats the big chain hotels if they can work on the mattress and carpets.
The mattress as many other reviewers have mentioned needs replacing. It’s uncomfortably soft/bouncy. Difficult to sleep and end up leaving with back pain. Also the carpet is a dust magnet. Such a let down for what could be a good little hotel.

The location was great and liked the old style of the building. Staff really good too.
The bed was very uncomfortable (room 7) and the cleanliness of the bathroom wasn’t good. If the bathroom had a deep clean and the mattress was changed, it would be alot better.

Initially we had trouble parking once we got into Chester as all of the carparks were full but we found a private pay & display carpark opposite the new Hunters Street multi-storey carpark which was only £6 for 24hrs and literally a 3 minute walk to the Coach House Inn.
On arrival the check in was quick and easy, the staff are really pleasant and helpful and the rooms are perfect with very comfy beds.
We booked a table in the restaurant and the service and food itself was 10/10 and the bill was a pleasant surprise too, not expensive at all considering we had a three course each.
The staff pre warn you about the noise from the town & there is some noise but you've got to expect that, especially at this time of year with the Christmas party goers but it wasn't too bad at all. We even slept with our window open. Apart from that we honestly can't fault this place & will definitely be returning.

Location excellent for Winter Parade, Cathedral and shops. The room was warm, with an adjustable oil-filled heater and it was very quiet, in spite of the Christmas Market being literally on the doorstep.
They can't call themselves a 'luxury' hotel until they've got rid of that threadbare and grubby staircarpet! Breakfast - cooked food was good and coffee plentiful, but for £9.95 they could put fruit and pastries on the buffet table as well as cereals and yoghurt.

our room was spotless and located right by the markets, this was great.

Breakfast was very good, a nice.choice and well cooked. Only one.comment - and it's me being fussy - toast should be served in a toast rack and not flat on a plate where it goes soggy!
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff 😊

Brilliant proximity to the Storyhouse and central town. Parking in the Market car park was minutes walk away.

Fairly central location, useful bade to explore city. Spacious room, basic amenities, seemed clean
Booked a double bed room but got two singles pushed together, not attached to each other either so we kept falling down the middle through the night. Mattress was a pancake, could feel base through it. White noise woke us around 7/8am, we couldn't work out what it was (extractor fan/ air con/ something similar?)

The pub is in a good location in the city centre. The room was clean and the staff were friendly.
The room decor was quite dated, and it was incredibly noisy until late in the evening,

The location was really good, staff were friendly and the breakfast was really good and great value.
We stayed in room 6 which is a slightly more superior room we were told, the only issue we found was the double bed which was two singles together and we kept getting stuck in the gap between the beds also the mattress is very hard. I would have given top marks if the bed was better.

Staff were great from the start. They let me drop my bags early and also allowed me to leave them a bit longer after checkout to avoid carrying them around town.
My room was huge and very comfortable. Even though it faced the street there wasn't much noise.
I ate dinner there too and it was very tasty and the restaurant comfortable for eating alone. Bar staff were also very friendly.
Easy walking distance to shops, cinema etc.
Shower could have had better pressure but it was a small thing.

Fabulous central location and the room was spotlessly clean. I was concerned it might be noisy because it's a pub, but we were on the top floor and it was really quiet. The bed was comfy and we slept great. Really good value for money.
