Helpful staff and a characterful property with an enormous room

Central location and an old building that retains character and charm.

We almost cancelled as despite advertising parking as a facility, there was none. The nearby station car park seemed secure and was a 5 minute walk away.

Warm welcome and sufficient comfort near Geneva's Central Station

Both receptionists were very kind and helpful, and it's close to Central Station and city center. The room they gave us was spacious and comfortable. Great pizzas across the square (Turquish owner, Fenerbache FC fan, ask receptionists).

A bit oldish, there was no shampoo in the bathroom, and paying breakfast was too basic.

Charming old-fashioned hotel with a warm welcome

This is a delightful unpretentious old-fashioned hotel. The staff are welcoming and eager to help. It's close to the train station, and walking distance to all the major sights in Geneva.

Better reading lights above the beds would be nice, and more than one pillow per bed.

For me was a perfect place to stay.

The best location really close to the railway station that connect you to the airport. Really simple breakfast just to start the day, orange juice, coffe and croissant. Small room but clean and comfortable, enough room to practice my karate (katas)

Good for a short stay

Location is excellent, very central, close to shops, train and bus station as well as most attractions. The price was very good for the city. The staff were very helpful.

Shower very small. Lot of sound when you open the balcony door, which you have to in summer as there is no air conditioning, a single fan ( does not oscillate) was present. There are no reception staff present overnight .

Good value for a short family stay

Great location with easy access to public transport, whether bus, tram or train. Clean and comfortable room, though hot during summer (we were in Geneva during a heat wave). Breakfast is fairly basic but is priced accordingly.

Hot weather meant we had to open the windows at night, which exposed us to traffic noise.

Nothing we like; very noisy till midnight, small room, small toilet, old building, no air-come is provided.

Perfectly located and good for a short stay.

Check in was smooth and simple, the room was homely. Location was absolutely perfect, close to everything a tourist could wish for. We were very grateful for the fan on a hot evening.

Overall cleanliness was good, but there were some areas of the room that clearly had been missed from previous occupants. I've also never used such a small shower, so good luck with that. Worth noting there was hardly any spare power outlets/plug sockets.

Friendly staff. Nice breakfast for 5 chf Clean bedding and towels.

Quite dated decor. Really noisy with traffic at night. Not the hotels fault though. Just seemed worse at night, however the double glazing definitely helped make it quieter.

Lovely period hotel with lots of features and old wooden floors. Staff were very friendly. Amazing location, next to the Mandarin Oriental but a tenth of the price! Room was nice, with big windows.

Business and private trip to Geneva for second time

The hotel is in an extremely good location, close to the Rhone River and Lac Leman. It is very easy to find your way around if you want to visit the old town. The rooms are cleaned every day, which is commendable.

When I compare this hotel to the ones in Bern or Basel, the price-quality ratio is unfavorable. However, it should be taken into account that Geneva is also a business city, the headquarters of many intergovernmental organizations, so the price might be justified in some way.

Good for its price, great location

Well, for its price it’s good, but they are not client oriented i think. Because when i had trouble with connecting to wifi. But, they allowed me to stay on second floor that’s their lobby i guess. And also leave my luggage

great location. lovely little place with very friendly and welcoming staff. The reception area was lovely. rooms and bathroom were a decent size. No kettle in the room but the lovely staff were happy to make a tea or coffee in their kitchen. would definitely stay again.
