Old world quality… budget price .

As a solo traveller on a long European trip, I booked budget accommodations for several of my stops. Because of this , I manage my expectations for these properties. If they are clean , quiet and safe I am satisfied. Tourelles was pristinely clean and perhaps one of the safest places I ever booked . The location is also great and only a 10 minute walk from Geneva Corning train station .

My private bathroom was across the hall from my room. I knew this going in because the mat room option was cheaper …but it took a little getting used to . Ultimately it was not an issue .

Great location and old world charm.

Good value for money. Well located. Buses 204, 205, 206 pass the railway station and stop right next door to hotel. The hotel is directly opposite the casino so easy to find. Bus line 201 also stops next door to hotel and takes you to Chillon castle and Glion funicular in one direction and Vevey in the other. Old world charm. Staff friendly and helpful. Bistro downstairs good. Balcony had views of the lake. Good bathroom and comfortable bed.

Basic accommodation in a great location.

Location, location. Great for walking to the old town and lake. Building and room had lots of original character and charm. Basic amenities, however clean and comfortable for a few nights.

Great location and good size rooms with an unbeatable view!

The location is incredible - right next door to Mandarin Oriental! And room was spacious - with a lovely balcony and a really beautiful view over the Rhône. We were also spoiled as we had a balcony. We were also lucky as the price was very reasonable (for Geneva and again the location and size of the room!)

Obviously the bathroom could be better as it is a makeshift one but hey, for the price and location, you can’t have it all!

Good, central location adjacent lakeside. More a fine old building with rooms to let than a hotel. Helpful and pleasant reception staff. Room clean and comfortable.

Needs aircon in summer! Several keycode pads to be used to get into the hotel and through to my room. Good from security viewpoint but a bit of an inconvenience, no worse. Noisy, busy road. No public rooms, just my bedroom.

Comfortable & Brilliant Location

Brilliant location, right on the river and a short walk from lots of excellent shops, restaurants, and scenic spots. Staff were superb throughout, and our room was a good size, nice bathroom, and comfortable bed. Despite proximity to a major road/tram way, the room was surprisingly quiet and well soundproofed.

The shower worked well, but an adjustable head/wall fixture would have made showering a lot easier. We also visited in a heat wave, and whilst the hotel provided a decent desk fan, air-con would have been preferable.

Fabulous location, value for money.

There was no provision for breakfast, but my room had a fridge, a kettle and cups so that I could buy and keep fresh milk and make a cup of tea. Location was fabulous- easy walking distance from the railway station, the Old Town, right next to the Rhone river with amazing river views from my room, and views of the jet d eau just a few footsteps away.

Very small room- but I cannot complain, as the price was commensurate. It would have been nice to be able to get breakfast in the hotel. without having to venture out.

The best hotel in Geneva

The best hotel I've ever stayed in. I liked the hotel very much because it is an old building. I stayed in a room overlooking the river and I really enjoyed drinking coffee with that view. There was a fireplace in the room, very romantic. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They inform you about everything. Since you are a tourist, Geneva Card is free, so when you take the tram number 15 from the main train station, you get off right in front of the hotel. If I go to Geneva again, I will definitely stay in this hotel. Thanks for everything

Great location. Very nice hotel despite the need for a renovation

I'll be honest. This hotel needs a renovation. The bathroom was old and the blind in our room didn't work that well (but there were curtains so it wasn't an issue). Having said that, the staff was very nice and the hotel quite cheap for the location. At least much cheaper than the neighboring Mandarin hotel. We didn't have high expectations but I would say that I would gladly stay at the same hotel again.

Convenient, comfortable, great location

Beautiful building and in a wonderful location. I was very lucky to get a unit facing the waterfront. Loved the balcony and beautiful decor. Very spacious and comfortable.

The entrance has a massive sign a meter above the correct door, but because the door itself has nothing on it—no label, and additionally utilizes a key code box and has an entryway with mailboxes before the actual main door to the hotel, it appears like an apartment building or businesses.

Quaint and friendly

Very friendly receptionist, nice room, great bed, lovely view of the river. Bathroom is a little dated but that is very typical of these beautiful old buildings. Lots of security measures.

Great staff, clean hotel, close to attractions, but difficult to sleep at night

Front desk was very kind, and the room was everything that I needed for the price I paid. Everything was clean, and the overall hotel aesthetic was great for my trip in Geneva!

Being next to a semi-busy street, if people are talking at a moderate volume in the street, it will be heard. Ear plugs are a must have if you are not a very heavy sleeper.
