Close to the castle. Great host. Close to city center.
Parking was a little difficult as you had to park elsewhere, check in first, then get the access key to the spot but we figured it out and the host explained everything perfectly.

Quiet, great position. Fantastic breakfast
Wine for sale at property
Tv did not work. It’s a steep hill to the property that might not be good for some people
It’s a shame you could not purchase glasses of wine

Super clean, very comfortable and an awesome breakfast. Lovely views of the town. Away from the tourist crowds

Delicious typical German breakfast with many choices of meats, cheeses, yogurt and cereals! The staff was super friendly and the location was great; just out of the busy center of town but a quick 5 min walk to everywhere.

Η τοποθεσία αν και με δύσκολη πρόσβαση
Very difficult access to the hotel. The parking was 300 m away with very complicated instructions how to reach it. It took to the indifferent owner more than 15 minutes to give us the instructions through drawings on paper even to the way of getting out of the two cars parking space at his own yard because the ground is very steep.the room was at the second floor without elevator. The ironic comment of the owner was that the elevator is in his 20 years plan. 64 steps to go up there. We had two heavy suit cases (14 days of road trip).instead of helping us with them he suggested to take just a small bag with the absolute necessary things like toothpaste etc. up in the room. The owner in general was very rude and completely unhelpful and although we explained to him that my wife has a serious problem with her knees he put us at the second floor. The breakfast ends at 9:30 and the check out at 9;45 in order to have time to pick up the car from the remotes parking area at 10:00 !! Also the white towels were grey instead of white!!

Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable accommodations would stay with them again. 15 minute walk from train station. Nice patio to enjoy a beer or coffee.

Very good guest house to stay at where the couple running it are clearly very proud of their property. They were very welcoming and helpful on my arrival and offered garage parking for my motorcycle. I would happily stay again. The location is very good for walking into the centre.
Prior to booking I had read some of the comments on it being difficult getting to the guest house and made sure I followed the instructions provided from accessing Zollerstrasse and then going up Schlossstrasse past the guest house and turning around further up the street in a safe place and then coming back down to access the entrance.
What I hadn’t realised prior to arrival is that the street is a main access route for the castle and the volume of people walking down the hill on my arrival made it awkward.
When I left in the morning the road was much quieter and I rode out up the hill towards the castle/cafe at the top of Schlossstrasse and out of Cochem through the top of the town which was ok. My recommendation would be when accessing the guest house to ride to the castle/cafe via the top of Cochem and then ride down Schlossstrasse to the guest house.

It was clean, located on a quiet street but still in the heart of the town. Great view of the castle from our room
Parking was a bit tricky because of the narrow streets but it is to be expected in a touristic area like Cochem

Very personal and very clean. Central location.

The view from the terrace was lovely. There was a clear view of the castle at night, which was lit up to attract the eye.
The staff were friendly and informative from the word go, I was given an information sheet of the area and introduced to the honesty procedure when taking a drink from the unmanned dining area. I was also given permission to use their garage with my motorbike. I only stayed one night but felt like it was not enough.
The entrance to the hotel is halfway up a very steep hill, so care is needed maneuvering the bike. It is better to go to the top of the hill and then turn around to come back down to access the entrance.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and lots of fun. A secure garage for our motorcycles and the place was really clean. Breakfast was very good and they had a nice selection of beer and wine that you could sit on the terrace and drink whilst taking in the beautiful views of the area.
The driveway is very steep but if you come at it from up the hill it’s fine.

Location was perfect, but still quiet at night to sleep.
Breakfast staff were excellent. Best breakfast of the holiday.
Nothing!! some reviews mention the steep climb to it, but I disagree it’s only a short distance and very easy to find and get to, we were on foot FYI.

The view from the room was beautiful and the location was good.
The owner was not very friendly at check-in, extremely bureaucratic (he said he would only tell us where he should park after passing on all the information - the room was already paid for - meanwhile my husband was waiting in the car on a very steep street where only 1 car passes at a time)
Tricky path to carry suitcase between parking and hotel.
Extremely hot room, no air conditioning and no curtain!! So we were woken up at 5 am by the sun!
Good location but uphill.

Excellent Location !
Family room set up is a blessing when traveling with 4-6 people.
Parking - Was a bit challenging initially to drive through constrained and busy streets to reach up.
Breakfast - We were a bit disappointed by the Breakfast. Limited options, for Milk, Bread slices, Pastries Etc. For ex : we asked for more white bread slices and the response was - We get it tomorrow.

the room was beautiful and in a great location! Very close to the river and castle! great views from our room!
we told them we were leaving a little (7 AM) before breakfast! they were serving other guests and it would have been nice if they could have provided for us as we had booked the hotel because of free breakfast!

Private, secure, family-owned and operated. Breakfast was very good, with 2 seatings by reservation. Excellent service by property owners. Appreciated required wearing of masks in public spaces in hotel. Views from hotel and proximity to venues of interest were first class.
Parking site is a bit of a hike to reach on foot, and designated space was used by others, non-guests, but parking was adequate.

Such a warm welcome and friendly host. Safe place to park motorcycles and a cellar to hang wet bike gear in.
Really glad the communication prior to arrival included advice to ride up past the hotel to turn around and approach from the top as the access road and hotel driveway are steep.

Charming Cochem property and staff. The breakfast was awesome...eggs made to order with a great spread. The location is great during peak travel season since it's quieter than the riverside hotels, etc., which can get noisy. There is parking available, within a short distance from the Villa. We used a TomTom GPS, and it found a way through the narrow one-lane streets, and parking was nearby after dropping luggage. The owners are nice, helpful, and accommodating. We had a pleasant stay, and we enjoyed a local Mosel wine from the kitchen when we returned to our room. Don't let the narrow streets scare you...you'll get there...just take it slow and watch the pedestrians.
The rooms could use a fan during the summer, especially the upper rooms with only one side of windows, thus no cross-ventilation, such as the Moseltal (spelling?) room. Moseltal is nearly unbearable sleeping without a fan during summer. Even the lower rooms could use one when it's warm outside.

Breakfast was great and value for money. Great views. Great to be able to sit on a shared balcony to admire the views
No Air-conditioning or a fan at least to alleviate to very hot conditions

the location is great with a nice aerial view.
a bit hard to reach (cross busy small and steep streets) with the car but no a big issue for us.
we could t close the window shutters all the way because there were plastic plant bucket in the way.
it was really too hot in the room to get a normal sleep. there was no fan or ac…

The room had an amazing view of the city and the castle. It also had metal blinds to block out the sun during the day and our room had an amazing balcony to sit on during cooler times. I couldn't get over the view - it was beautiful!
The only feedback I have is that the wifi wouldn't stay connected though I don't know if this was on the hotel since our cell service throughout the whole city was spotty???

Hotel very clean and owner so friendly, the terrace is lovely to sit out on.
Difficult to find by car, but if you manage to get up the hill on foot, the owner will give you a map
