Good place for a short stay but be ready to park your car outside if you are driving.

Nice and helpful family as host. Good breakfast, big rooms. Easy check in even after reception working hours.

Location is bit outside main center, the biggest challenge is to get the car park at hotel premises.

Lovely small hotel with on site reserved parking! Great location with a patio-view of the Mosel River, easy walk to sites and shops. Breakfast was very nice.

We had an excellent stay. Our room, 315, had a balcony overlooking the river. The room was a good size for 2 people. The shower was very good. We enjoyed having breakfast every morning. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even with the language barrier. Easy walk to old town Cochem.

The beds were so comfortable and the bathroom shower was roomy with plenty of hot water. Our party really enjoyed the breakfast buffet each morning. The family that owns and runs this quaint hotel is delightful and so accommodating!

Reception very good attention. Breakfast very good attention. Various typical foods, tea and coffee,no espresso machine. New room and bathroom very clean with a big fan no air conditioner ,we are use to sleep with air conditioning but in Europe even in hotels with air conditioning you cannot feel they are cooling the room . Parking in premises.

Comfortable, elegant, quiet, friendly: we will go back!

Pension Moselvilla is a beautiful historical building, very close to downtown and yet in a quiet area, totally refurbished from the inside, the moment you step in, your eyes start enjoying its beauty! Spacious, comfortable bedrooms, great breakfast, but the best was the family who owns and manages the hotel: friendly, kind and super helpful!

If you cannot make it to their parking, you must park on the street (for a fee, not very expensive)

We liked the old renovated building very much and the friendly staff. Our room was very comfortable. We were with three and one bed was in een separate room, in the ‘tower’, very nice.

The room was nice and spacious with a view of the river, breakfast with a nice dining room and terrace. The main part of town is a short walk. Free parking for our car.

Location was good, close to the Moselle, quiet and only a short walk into the town. Staff were friendly and it seemed like a family-run concern.

Situated in a quiet residential area close to the train station and an easy walk to the centre of Cochem, this hotel is ideally situated. The building is old and charming but the rooms are new and modern. The bathroom is large and features a great walk in shower. The bed is big and comfy. The room features huge windows, a massive closet and a generous desk. The breakfast is outstanding! There is plenty of variety and the breakfast room is bright and cheerful. The hotel is family owned and operated. It was a pleasure to meet them and to be acquainted with their daily lives. I would return here in a heartbeat!

Loved it!

On-site parking is a bonus compared to other Cochem hotels and was free. Other hotels only offer nearby public parking. Mom & daughter accommodated my early-breakfast request for our 3-person business group. They did 1-hour early the first two days, then 30 minutes early the rest of the week, which was perfect. As others commented, the breakfast is great. The honor-system drinks in the breakfast area hit the spot when we got back from work late. Eventually we made it back in time to check out the discount beverage store across the street, which is awesome. The terrace off the breakfast area is nice for smokers or working on laptop. No problems with the wi-fi.

Credit card payment was temporarily not available, but did not matter since all was pre-paid via Booking.com. Try to arrive near the time you arrange via email. One of the sons waits for you, lets you in the building and checks you in. Keep contact info handy in case you are delayed (email works).

The breakfast was excellent and the staff was very, very kind! The location was awesome, with a good view on the river Mosel. Also, the under-floor heating is a big plus on colder days like these

Only 2 things actually. Maybe a bigger sign outside the building so it's a bit easier to find. And the pillows weren't that great,but that is definitely personal taste and not really a fault or anything from the hotel.

Moselvilla 1900 and the Ekelik Family are absolutely primo!

As a handyman/DIYer, I was especially intrigued by how well the magnificent old building had been restored, with the finest materials, from top to bottom, along with the finest craftsmanship, maintaining the Old World integrity of the structure, while fully updating it with the clean, crisp edges of modernity. The scrumptious breakfasts were also a highlight of our visit, as they seemed to be for all the other very contented guests as well!

The ONLY detractor to our stay, and not one that reflects upon the Moselvilla, but rather Cochem itself, was the street noise, but that was eliminated by simply closing the windows of our room - although for the sake of coolness, we would have preferred to keep them open. Between the rumbling of the nearby train tracks, an inordinate number of wailing ambulances, the city's air raid siren having gone off 3 times at the crack of dawn on a Saturday morning, and the inherent echoing of chattering pedestrians and other traffic along the charming cobblestone streets, it was quite noisy.
